3 out of 5 eggsHORRIBLE FANS

Pros: AMAZING card as far as proformance... ran everything on high... bought 2 and both ran great..

Cons: HORRIBLE QUALITY FANS... after about 6 months all 4 fans on the cards have gone out.. of course its covered under warranty but i will not be sending them in.. i advise all to buy aftermarket fans... as the fans pre installed are trash...

Other Thoughts: would have been a great card... but considering the fans went out on both cards... just think about it

Manufacturer Response:

Hello,

Very sorry to hear you had issues with the fans. If you do wish to get an RMa for the cards please contact our 24/7 technical support (888)-881-3842

5 out of 5 eggsMy favoritest Video card

Pros: As an admitted mid level component purchaser I absolutely love this card. It is better out of the box than any other new card I have ever purchased, as in it dominates every game I throw at it with all of the settings cranked. I like it so much I just bought a second one for SLI. It may help that I put the Heatkiller water-block on it too. No fan noise? Amazing.

Cons: Games. We need the next generation of consoles so that the games can catch up to hardware. This also is fun to rub in the face of console gamers.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Plays Almost all games on Ultra/Maxxed settings
Doesn't ever get above 55% fan speed, and throttles up and down depending on the load/heat.
Never had the drivers crash, or any FPS problems

Cons: Plastic feels cheap, but doesn't seem very easily breakable.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat cards

Pros: Bought 2 and put them in SLI and also put the Heatkiller 560 ti blocks on them. All I can say is that they smoke the GTX 275s that they replaced.

Cons: With a microATX board the cards were placed right on top of each other and they got very hot (90c) Once I was on the waterblocks the problem went away.

Other Thoughts: OCed to 990 core so far and load temps are only at 47c with the heatkiller blocks! These are fast little buggers!

5 out of 5 eggsGeForce GTX 560 Ti (Fermi) 1GB

Pros: What can i say i went from a GeForce GTX 295 to a GeForce GTX 560 Ti and what a big difference between the two i got two so i can run them in SLI and man dose my games comes alive i play street fighter 4 arcade edition and i got 295FPS and the game play is so difference everything is faster i haven't over clocked anything yet why when everything works fine if you want to get a high in card and pay more that great but the GeForce GTX 560 Ti is a very reasonable card fast enough to run anything you throw at it i love the two that i have they work well for me love them.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: The fans on the cards work just fine for me I have a COOLER MASTER HAF 932 case and i get plenty of air flow going through my system my temp stay at 35c top and bottom at 32 at idle as long as you have lots of air going through your system you should be fine buy it its a good card and plus you can't bet the limited life time warranty BIG PLUS

1 out of 5 eggsCheap, fragile fans!

Pros: Great card! The 560ti can handle most current games with ease. This version has very cheap fans.

Cons: The fans on this version of the 560ti are extremely cheap. I had to RMA 2 cards within the first 2 months due to the fans catching on the fan enclosure and losing blades.

Other Thoughts: EVGA customer service is excellent! After the second RMA, EVGA sent the 560ti version with one large fan. The replacement card has been working flawlessly!

Manufacturer Response:

Hello,

I am sorry to hear of your issues with the fan. Please let me know if you should need any further support, Matth@evga.com

5 out of 5 eggsGood for the money

Pros: Fast card, the aftermarket EVGA backplates fit it.
A bit smaller than the 200 series cards for example, so it should fit in most cases.

Cons: The cooler just wasn't what I was looking for. Not bad at idle speeds, but it cannot cope with loads, and sounds like it.
The card, despite it's super-overclocked speeds, is still only 256 bit. My 7800 GS CO was 256-bit!
The whole card seems like it weights nothing, no mass, either in the cooler or the electronics.

Other Thoughts: I used the EVGA step-up program to trade these in for 570 HD (1571). I hated to do it that way, because you pay a lot, but it was worth it. The 570's are much heavier, and run cooler under load than this 560 DS Ti. If you can, scrape together enough for 570's, they are a world apart from the 560.

4 out of 5 eggsGood Value

Pros: Very good price/performance ratio. Dual-fan config keeps it cool. Smooth performance at 1920x1200 with a fair amount of eye-candy stuff enabled.

Cons: Fans will make some real noise once they reach 60% (though you can adjust the threshold using Precision or whatever).

Other Thoughts: 570s and 580s are great when you want maximum bling at 1080p or better with a single card (especially when feeding more than one display) but the 560 series is a good value across the board. Want the really big eye-candy? Grab another for SLI.

Also, I like the EVGA models that end in "AR." The lifetime warranty just makes me feel better about the world....

5 out of 5 eggsNice card!

Pros: Not to big
2 fans
Great graphics

Cons: I played BF3 on this after installing the drivers from the website. After maybe 10 mins I got artifacting. Now I was annoyed at first, but after some google research I found out you need to adjust the settings in Nvidia control panel. It was set up as multiple monitors( I only used 1) and change frames from 3 to 2 and boom! fixed

Other Thoughts: Hope this helps with anyone artifacting with such a nice card. Ill leave my setup too.

5 out of 5 eggsHow could you ask for more?

Pros: This card plays Skyrim, BF3, etc on highest settings with 60fps. With a good cooling case it never even kicks up the fans.

Cons: It doesn't bring me refreshments.

Other Thoughts: Why even consider more expensive cards at the moment? You can always sli this bad boy in the future. I haven't found a game yet that can stress it.
