4 out of 5 eggsworks well for the price

Pros: Plays most games at highest settings fine, stays pretty cool and is easy to overclock

Cons: makes alot of noise in sli setup cause the two cards are close it cause the fan on the top card to be less efficient.

Other Thoughts: i added all in in one water cooling systems on these cards via, "AKA the mod" and now notice max temps only reading up to 49c. im able to over clocked the core to 950mhz

3 out of 5 eggsDead after six months

Pros: Runs quiet, cool, and pretty reliable until today.

Cons: Woke up this morning, booted up my system and it was dead. Thankfully, my mobo has onboard, so I am still able to use the computer, however, I don't think I can safely purchase or refer a friend to EVGA. I bought this GFX unit to replace another EVGA that had died in September of 2012. If all I am able to get is six months out of an EVGA product, I won't EVER purchase one again.

Manufacturer Response:

Hello,

This is not the behavior we expect from our products. If you have only had this card for 6 months then it should still be covered by warranty. Please contact us at 888-881-3842 so we can work on getting you a replacement for this card.

Thank you,
Brandon B

5 out of 5 eggsGood choice

Pros: Quiet. My cpu fan drowns this out, so I never hear it. But my GPU monitor also shows the fan never rising above half fan speed (~1500 rpms), so that makes sense. Temps can get up to low 60s but never above for me. Nice large fan size to help keep rpms low.

Handles FS9 with aftermarket clouds in aftermarket virtual cockpit and heavy scenery, all with absolute max settings in FS and Nvidia config quite well. Dont do a lot of gaming beside, but the newer ARMA titles or STALKER, for instance, run smooth with max settings as well.

Booted up fine, installed newest drivers (no need for the driver cd) from the website. Physical product seems sturdy.

Cons: None yet. I suppose absent a rebate the price seems a touch high, but what isn't expensive nowadays?

Other Thoughts: American-based company for what it's worth (hq, not mfg of course)!

I did a ton of reading on GPUs before I bought this. I had wanted to go with Asus due to reading that they were very quiet (with the DirectCUII tech) and powerful to boot. But, I dont need a top of the line card, and this guy was discounted a bit, so for $140, it was definitely the right call. If I was getting, say, a 660ti, I might consider Asus still, but I'm not going to ignore EVGA as an option in the future. Card is plenty quiet and plenty powerful for everything I need. Rebate was processed quickly, and I can get a check instead of a silly prepaid card.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat performance and price!

Pros: I've ran numerous benchmark tests and this GPU has provided high outputs at maximum settings for games such as BF3, Final Fantasy XIV, Heaven bench, 3DMark bench. EVGA also provides its own software that monitors the GPU, which provides great customization opportunities.

Cons: None.

Pros: nice card handles just about everything you throw at it.

Cons: you need two of them to handle everything you throw at it.

Other Thoughts: i owned one for about 6 months and decided to build a new pc, and i just had to get #2 for sli, and wow that made a big differance

asus crosshair v formula z
2 wd velocilraptor 500 gig

2 evga gtx 560 in sli
asus 24" 1 ms 3d monitor

1 out of 5 eggsNot happy with this video card

Pros: The card worked great for the first month.

Cons: The card keeps freezing up and stops working. Tried to contact EVGA with no response. Not happy with the card at all. Everytime i start to play a game it freezes up and can not play at all.

5 out of 5 eggsLoved it so much I got another to SLI

Pros: Love this card.
Handles anything I throw at it.

Cons: I now run SLI on two of these cards on my dual 23" setup.. I bought another matching monitor to now realized SLI doesn't support three monitors unless I buy another card...........You would think SLI could support 3 monitors with 2 cards....apparently they aren't there yet..

Apparently if you want to run 3 monitor SLI you MUST have 3 video cards to make this possible..
I still love the cards but I no longer run in SLI because I have 3 23" monitors until I can get some more money to buy a 3rd card I will not be using SLI.

Other Thoughts: SLI works GREAT on these if you just use 2 monitors or just one..
I was getting 300 FPS on CS:GO with max settings.
SC2... never skipped a beat on extreme settings.
Opened Call Of Duty Black OPS 2 and with 2 SLI'd I was over 100FPS constantly.
Worth every penny..

5 out of 5 eggsFantastic Card!

Pros: Had an 8800 GTX before this card, paid for it brand new at 560! This card is almost twice as powerful and was not even near half as much! The card works great plugged into my old 680i SLI motherboard. Runs games like SKYRIM maxed, SWTOR maxed, and MWO maxed. Great card for good value!

Cons: The fact that I do not have another card to run SLI yet....

Other Thoughts: None It is a great buy for anyone looking to upgrade their video power at a cheaper price.
