2 out of 5 eggsGood power hog while lasted

Pros: Ran bf3 on ultra

Cons: Like others have said, unit is a massive power hog. UPS screamed in pain when stress testing. Died after about a week. Newegg refund since out of stock at time.

5 out of 5 eggsValuable improvement

Pros: I got this card to replace an EVGA GTX 460 that was still working. This is my fourth EVGA card and I have never had any problems with any of them. This one is quiet even under load in my Qpack2 case. The card is just the right size for this case and my ASUS P8P67-M PRO motherboard. So far I have an average improvement of 30 - 50% in my graphic benchmarks over the GTX 460 card. I did get a FPS improvement of 150% on CounterStrike Source (from 118 to 295)!

Cons: None.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: It's a huge upgrade from my ancient 9500GT. Runs the Assassin's Creed games smoothly on fairly high settings. I expect to go higher once I upgrade my ancient core2 quad and ram.
Software has great features that allow a wide range of on screen monitoring and control over everything from voltage to fan speed.

Cons: This thing is a beast. I had to upgrade my PSU to feed it. It's currently running fine with a 650w corsair but I may go higher in the future when my wallet allows it.

The card itself is also pretty big and if you run a micro ATX board you're going to lose access to another slot im sure.

Like other items I've purchased I knew what I was getting into with the limitations of my setup so I'm not blaming EVGA for inconveniences I expected.

1 out of 5 eggsDidn't work for me

Pros: I own a computer which came with this card, and it runs every game I play without a hitch.

Cons: Bought this card for a computer I am building for my brother, and it doesn't work. This is the second EVGA card I have bought/ordered over the past few years that has come DOA

Manufacturer Response:

5 out of 5 eggsWorks as intended, nice accessories

Pros: Came with a lot of additional cables, which is nice. Like a DVI->VGA adapter (which is great for us who use VGA monitor), and a mini hdmi -> hdmi adapter cable.

So even though it just has digital outputs, you can still use it on analog monitors out of the box.

Card works well, only played TF2 on it so far, but i'm satisfied with it. I suspect it won't break necks and kick tush on the hardest games on the best settings, but i've never been one to oogle the beautiful graphically pristine bushes anyway.

Cons: The card, is quite, large. It was wide enough to basicly ruin my ability to plug in cards to the adjacent ports. Which combined with another card I had, basically meant my 2 cards ruined all my 5 card slots.

I though, sadly suspect this is a common concern for most GPU
