5 out of 5 eggsAlmost a year of regular use and no problems

Pros: It is a shame this product is discontinued since this is a great piece of hardware. It comes pre-overlocked versus a standard 560 board. Most games I play come out looking beautiful on ultra settings with reasonable frame rates (35-60). Compatible with PCI-e 3.0 slots if necessary. It's lasted almost a year now with no issues. And as always, EVGA never lets me down.

Cons: However there are cons though not enough to bother me. This card runs hot even with MSI afterburner custom fan controls. Guild Wars 2 at ultimate settings @ core clock 925 mhz will have you looking at mid-70 degree centigrade temps in populated areas, heavy textured areas, and during dungeon areas. That isn't a dangerous temperature but it is much higher than idle @ about 32 degrees centigrade. Also, the fans are noisy but it doesn't bother me because I mainly use closed professional headphones. I use a Rosewill Thor V2 case so I know it's well ventilated, just runs hot.

Other Thoughts: I thought about grabbing another card down the road for some SLI but I will probably save the money and keep an eye on the market seeing as this product is discontinued.

2 out of 5 eggsNot so much

Pros: Worked great while I had it. Not loud at all like the other reviews. Obviously, having 2 smaller fans is a touch louder than one larger, but not whinably so (unless you're really sound-sensitive). 24/7 tech support for RMAs, English speaking.

Cons: Feels like a flimsy design... not like what I remember of EVGA. My last card was Radeon, but I went back to Nvidia only because of EVGA. After just 3 months it started emitting a high-pitched squeal when delivering more than text images (POST was fine, safe mode cmd prompt was fine).

Other Thoughts: Maybe this is why the card is discontinued?

4 out of 5 eggsOverall good but issues

Pros: This video card was able to handle every game I played on the highest setting without issues.

Cons: Even though it handled every game I own, I had to wear headphones because it was so loud (the dual fans). Without the headphones it was unbearable.

I am in the process on building a media pc and was going to be using this video because it does have the hdmi out, (and slap my old evga 8800 gts ssc back in my gaming pc) I did think on buying a new video card just for the media pc just because of the noise. While in my gaming computer I had a fin break off the video card and evga was real quick about getting a rma to exchange this card with a replacement. Since getting the new replacement card and putting it back in the gaming computers it isn't loud and I no longer need headphones. Guess it was a faulty fan which it unbearable for me, now once I get my components for my media pc I won't hesitate putting this card it because the noise isn't bad at all.

I got this video card through newegg when it was on sale and I am very pleased with the card (2nd card that is) and wouldn't hesitate purchasing another for my gaming pc once my old video card stops working.

Other Thoughts: I just had bad luck with the first card and the second card is great and isn't loud at all and still handles anything I throw at it.

4 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Actually runs better than expected. Upgrade from GT 430, plays everything fine high and ultra settings. mostly racing and MMO's. I used Afteburner to control fan speeds and such. has never glitched once at higher temps.

Cons: fans are a little loud but nothing that extreme. Mine hit low to mid 70 degree celsius on high and ultra setting with 7 cases fans, but it is somewhat double over clocked. have fans set to hit 100% at 80 C. but yet to reach that even benchmarking it in stress test.

Other Thoughts: xigmatek case
intel i5-2500k
MSI motherboard
16 gb ram
GTX 560 ssc

5 out of 5 eggsBEST mid-range Video Card!

Pros: Great cooling system and factory overclocked. The only game tested was Guild Wars 2 on max video settings for everything and I was getting around 77 FPS. Not bad in my opinion.

Cons: Only a mini-HDMI port and not a full HDMI port. This is very picky considering it comes with an adapter to go from mini-HDMI to HDMI, but just frustrating for some reason.

Other Thoughts: I connected this computer from one room to another via a 25 foot HDMI cable and the video watching a show on Hulu on the big screen in the living room was great! I am very satisfied with this card.

Additionally, it comes with GREAT cooling capabilities as it has two fans. This makes it much more promising to overclock it even further than the factory overclock!

4 out of 5 eggsPrecision X

Pros: You can read the reviews about the 560's all over the net. It plays what I want it to with respectable frame rates (Borderlands 2 is looking very nice).

Cons: The mini hdmi port is a little aggravating seeing as I have to get a new hdmi cable now but other than that I have no problems yet.

The fan speed automation is screwy, see the other thoughts.

Other Thoughts: As I got into graphics intensive operations, I noticed the fan speed did not change. After testing and logging temps/fan speed, I realized the fan speed was not changing at all. I made sure my Precision X was the latest version and then I tinkered with the fan speed automation settings.

Despite the fact the "auto" button was checked, I still had to go into the advanced settings and turn on the fan automation. I also changed the temp/fan speed curve a bit. It started to work properly after I applied these new settings.

Be aware that this exists, you need to turn it on, and it is probably best to edit the settings to your liking.

5 out of 5 eggsThis thing screams!!

Pros: Everything... this card is awesome from the looks to the way it performs. Would definitely buy again.

Cons: Fans get a little loud when running at 80%. I wonder what 100% sounds like... not a huge deal though. Plus, what can you expect when it is super super clocked?!? If I was looking to get a card with the ability to hear a pin drop, I would have looked elsewhere.

Other Thoughts: Went from a 8600 GTS 512 MB to this and wow, what a difference this video card has made when it comes to gaming graphics. I can set most games on high or even very high without any issues.
