2 out of 5 eggsShort Life for card :(

Pros: Worked great for about a year and a half. Great software from EVGA.

Cons: Started giving me issues after 19months. No overclocking. Well within normal heat tolerances. Clean driver installs(even a clean OS install). This card has never been 'abused', just normal wear and tear. Has been crashing computer semi randomly for the last 9-10 months now.

Complete computer crash forcing a hard reset. Happens both under heavy and light loads, high and low temps(low being around 50c for this card)

Other Thoughts: I've spent the last 9-10 months trying to fix this issue. In this time I've confirmed that the card is most def the issue. This is way too soon for a card to start crapping out. The lifetime warranty is only valid if you register it within a short time after purchase. The card itself was good, until it wasn't. If you want to get this card, make sure to fill out the warranty card.

I'm not alone in this. I've done many searches over the span of almost a year trying to fix this. It's severely tarnished my trust in this company, and will def impact future EVGA purchases.

Manufacturer Response:

Hello,
I apologize for the issues you are seeing with your video card. I would recommend contacting support at Newegg@evga.com or 888-881-3842

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent

Pros: -Reasonably quiet
-Runs everything i need, bf3 at 60fps+ without O/C
-Fits easily in mid-tower
-2.5 GB memory
-O/C's well
-sexy

Cons: -can get close to 90 degrees at times

Other Thoughts: Why would this get discontinued? I got my first one and decided to wait awhile to SLI but apparently i waited too long. This was a very good card with excellent reviews, makes me sad to see it discontinued.

5 out of 5 eggsAwesome Card!!

Pros: This EVGA card is the best one I have ever owned before; this thing is a complete monster! I can play anything with this high-clocked card, and there is hardly any lagging in any game on my PC. The whopping 2.5GB of GDDR5 RAM just dominates my system. It also has HDMI so I can use this for my HD computer screen. This card by EVGA is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! This was totally worth the price!

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: This card is pretty large, so make sure you have enough room in your computer case. Some cases can cause this card to obstruct the hard drives or their cables. This is not really a con, but I have this minor problem with my case. Normally, I just move the hard drives into other slots and the issue is solved.

5 out of 5 eggsAwesome Card

Pros: Is able to run pretty much any game maxed out. Only a few that it cannot. And for those I think its my CPU that is holding it back. Has been running strong for over a year now. Runs pretty cool even under load, usually around 60 to 70C. Though since I ungraded my ventilation it gets roughly 10C less. If your not ready for a 600 series yet then this a great buy.

Cons: Nvidia Drivers, But you can't blame the card for that I suppose.

5 out of 5 eggs1 year in

Pros: This thing runs everything I throw at it with no problems. It has huge amounts of VRAM that allows it handle most heavy use easily. No overheating issues and great reliability. I have never had a single complaint with it and it even survived a motherboard exploding!

Cons: Its discontinued, if it wasn't I would buy another and feel confident in my graphics capabilities for years to come.

Other Thoughts: It is a real shame that this is discontinued. Its a great card where your only concern will be in its length. If you cant take out your front hd cage or you dont have a full tower its gonna be tight. This was, however, reason for me to get a great full fractal tower...so, win. Bring it back EVGA. please?

5 out of 5 eggs5 Egg average w/181 reviews...

Pros: Where to start? My review title says it all - no other card even comes close to the ratings of this card. 2.5 GB of 320 bit DDR5 VRAM is probably more than I'll ever tap but it's nice to eliminate THAT hassle coming from two 768 GB editions of the GTX 460s in SLI VRAM was always maxed out. I wanted to go with a single GPU setup because AYE DOUGH BE SEE ESS SIX claims better performance with a single GPU. Truthfully the biggest thing I notice is the seemingly endless amounts of VRAM allow for effortless design work with HUGE files (I'm a photographer so no video work). Another thing that blows me away - I keep MSI Afterburner monitor window open while I work and most of the time even during intense mixer brush painting and blur filtering etc., the card hardly comes all the way out of idle mode! If you can find one of these cards anywhere BUY IT - if you don't need or want it I'll buy it from you!

Cons: DISCONTINUED!?!? WHY? Other cons - it's fan only goes to 85%, unless you use afterburner or similar, it'll heat up to well over 85°C, if you plug in a second monitor it locks itself at full clock, like another guy mentioned - under heavy load, even during the WEI rating (which always gets 7.9 BTW) the coils whine.

Other Thoughts: My rig: GA-Z68XP-UD4, Core i7 2600K OC'ed to 4.7Ghz, (2) 128GB SSD's in RAID 0, (2) 1TB 7200RPM HDD's for storage/backup and 16GB (4x4) DDR3 1600Mhz RAM @ 1600Mhz.

This card has so far allowed me to OC it to 823Mhz @ 1.075mV and remain stable through Heaven Benchmark, hours of WOW @ all ultra settings, and every nvidia control panel option as high as it'll go.

4 out of 5 eggsGood Card, but coil whines

Pros: Great card for its price, can run any game I've tried so far on max settings at 40+ FPS.

Cons: Coil whines under stress.

Other Thoughts: I'm contacting EVGA later today to get a replacement card that hopefully won't whine.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Card!!

Pros: Installation was quick and easy. Windows 8 detected the card without any problems and the driver download from evga.com was easy.

This card is whisper quiet on lower video demand.

Cons: - The card is pretty long - make sure your case and configuration can support it.

- It can heat up with overclocked settings and the fan will run noticeably louder if you are doing a lot of video work.

Other Thoughts: While the price tag was a bit higher, the performance more than made up for it. This is a great card and has given me zero headaches...in fact, I have never had any problems with egva cards.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat proformance

Pros: Great performance
Runs games without any lag

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: There's no need to spend more on the newest 600 series when the 500 is still kicking
