5 out of 5 eggsGOOD IN THEORY BUT THEY DROPPED THE BALL

Pros: GF 110 GOODNESS.

I bought this card used on an auction site.

I gave it 5 eggs for charity.

Cons: I have 2 problems with the design of this card. Admittedly i bought it used on a certain bay.

1. i dont like the stacked dvi ports. i want a full exhaust lane with a high flow bracket.

2. The voltage is limited to 1.100 mv. wont overclock more than about 920-930 mhz core clock.

Other Thoughts: I had 3 EVGA GF 110 cards.

GTX 580 voltage goes to 1.150
GTX 570 voltage goes to 1.100 (this card)
GTX 560ti 448 classified ultra. voltage goes to 1.150.

All 3 of these are basically the same card.
All 3 use a 6 pin and 8 pin power connector.
What happened on this card? Someone dropped the ball.

The 448 classifed ultra was the best overclocker of the 3 samples i had. The 580 was real finicky with memory settings. The full potential of this card cant be achieved unless you flash the bios to change the upper voltage limit.

I'm whipping a dead horse here.

5 out of 5 eggsA year of ownership

Pros: for the 5 series It has to be one of the best made. Runs everythign I throw at it. I am very happy I went with this card for the choices at the time.

Cons: If you load high rez mods for Skyrim you will run out of VRAM at 1080 res.

Other Thoughts: EVGA customer service is amazing I will go with EVGA when I decide to upgrade.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat card

Pros: Great price on the last "tier" of cards, and a solid performer. I upgraded from an EVGA GTX 275 and the difference is huge. Currently playing SWTOR, GW2 and WoW at high/ultra high settings and seeing 60+ FPS in each. Processor is a Q9550 @ 3.4ghz.

It is fairly quiet and doesn't run hot.

The HDMI output is very nice.

Cons: Having an issue with the graphics driver crashing now and then while watching Youtube videos. Does not crash in games though.

No high-flow bracket for the Classified model.

Other Thoughts: I picked up the GTX 570 aluminum backplate for it as well. Looks very nice all together.

USE THE FAN SPEED TUNER. On the stock settings mine would not spin the fan up fast enough to effectively cool the card. I could feel the heat coming off of the back of the case with my foot near it. Adjusting the fan auto-speed fixed this and now it stays at a reasonable temperature through hours of gaming.

I see now that this model is discontinued. Understandable, especially with the "special" editions (OC, Superclocked, Classified). Still, if you can find one and are on a budget (read: cannot swing a GTX 680) this is a very good card.

5 out of 5 eggsFast in single card application

Pros: Very Fast in single card application for gaming. Crazy Fast running 2 cards in SLI. I use these Classified cards in a Intel 12500K machine and run SLI. Total cost for (2) cards was $600.00 and they are worth every penny I paid.
The fps in Battlefield 3 on ULTRA everything is insane at 75-85 fps steady, all maps, players maxed at 64 people. This is on a 23" monitor of course @ 1680 x 1050 res. but that's extremely sweet, no issues what-so-ever.
I can't bring these cards to their knees even with Skyrim or Mass Effect 3.
I will be getting the 670's soon just because I can. BUT, there is absolutely no need to. I just like to keep the technology current.
The Classified models always rock, every generation. They are the best of the best.
The 570 series is so close to the 670 series in speed I honestly doubt I will notice a real game experience difference at all.

Cons: none

3 out of 5 eggsGood card, software bugs

Pros: - Cream of the crop for the GTX 570 series, custom PCB
- Good performance at 1920x1080 resolution
- Stays relatively cool despite a noncustom cooling solution
- EVGA warranty and step-up program

Cons: - software drivers

Other Thoughts: Despite all the different fixes I tried, I was unable to correct the video stutter in 3D games (check various video card forums, the Nvidia stutter bug has been around for awhile). I tried beta drivers, the latest 301.xx official driver, using VSYNC, nothing worked. In the action MMOs that I play, that stuttering seriously screws up activating different clickies and skills. Returned the card and went back to my trusty 5850 crossfire setup.

Manufacturer Response:

Hello,

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Really fast card. Amazing value for your money!

I can run any game out today on my rig and at 1080p, max settings!

I get an average of 45fps at 1080p ALL settings maxed out on Metro 2033

Approximately 50fps average on DX11 Crysis 2 at 1080p ALL settings maxed out.

Lifetime warranty!!!

So what else do you want?

Cons: Unfortunately no matter how much I try the card refuses to do my laundry and wash dishes at home... :(

Other Thoughts: uh... buy this card now that its only $299.

It's overclock pushes the card to 580 territory and EVGA backs it up with Lifetime Warranty.

5 out of 5 eggsVery happy

Pros: Wicked fast, satisfying upgrade to the GTX275 I had that was getting long in the tooth. The Precision software is elegant and effective; I leave the core and shader clocks alone (they're ridiculously overclocked beyond stock specs out of the box), and use the software to fix the fan speed at 70%, which is quiet in my case.

Cons: This card has made me realize that my proc is also severely "long in the tooth," as it were... still rockin' a dual-core (E8400), so I am excited to see how the card will open up after I remove that bottleneck and upgrade my CPU, mobo, and RAM in a couple of months...

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Card

Pros: Has worked flawlessly so far, perfect performance. I've yet to find it lacking. The fan is normally quiet but I use Precision with the curve set high to keep the temps low. Even so, quiet. This card will do good things for your system.

Cons: Fan at 100% sounds like a hair-dryer, but then again it is never really at 100%.

Other Thoughts: Is it considered a 570HD or not? The box says HD, the card says 570, the product title says 570...

5 out of 5 eggsNice Card for the Price

Pros: Good Performance for the Price
Nice stock clocks, Oc'd it's a 580
Overclocks well, 100+ mhz np

Cons: Really loud @ 100% fan speed, but then again its over 5000rpm and keeps the card really cool for air cooling, and it never gets to 100% anyways

Other Thoughts: I have these in sli atm, Pretty boss cards :)
