Pros: Great performance. Makes games with great graphics look their best. Runs games with amazing absence of lag.

Cons: Runs very very very very hot. I had mine for about a year and it broke after overheating too much. Didn't realize that at the time so I got another. Same problem. Broke within the 6 months. I'm not buying it again.

Manufacturer Response:

Hello,

This card should still be under warranty. Please contact us at 888-881-3842 so we can get a replacement set up for you.

Thank you,

4 out of 5 eggsGreat Card

Pros: 1. Overclocking potential
The GTX570's OC potential is unbelievable. I'm able to OC this card from 797mhz/1900mhz to 930mhz/2200mhz in stand-alone configuration w/Precision X 3.4. Considering that this is a refurbished card.

2. Low price for a great card.
I had a GTX560 448 Classified Ultra, not a bad card, it was able to handle major games at high settings at 1080p. Then I figured it would be nice to get a second card to put them in SLI configuration, however the 448 got discontinued, so I came to this beauty.

480 cores vs 448 cores, with some twicks, GTX570 at 900mhz/2175mhz, it has a higher texture & pixel fillrate compare to the GTX560 448. (Same bandwidth at this setting, but this GTX570's bandwidth is higher than 448 when it was stand-alone during early benchmarks)

Cons: The voltage limit for this card is 1.112V, inferior to the GTX560 448, which is 1.163V. Very disappointing.

The previous version of PrecisionX 3.4 couldn't allow me to OC both cards in SLI configuration, but because this card's voltage limit and fan speed is lower than the 560 448 CU, so I had to use the GTX560 448 as my main card until the PrecisionX 4.0 came out a few days ago.

So now, my GTX560 448 is @ 960mhz/2175mhz, GTX570 @ 900mhz/2175mhz.

Note that this is a refurbished product, it doesn't come with CD, cords, SLI connector, nothing. The packaging is just a white box.

Not really a con, but under SLI 80-90 load, you can hear the fans spinning fast, not extremely loud, but pretty loud. The heat dissipation is not very good, temperature easily get stucked at 70C, under load in SLI mode, for pretty much any card with just 1 fan!

Other Thoughts: As the limited voltage and locked potential performance mentioned in the cons, if you are seeking for greater OC performance and temperature control, you should be looking at something in the GTX6XX series or the GTX660 in terms of performance/price ratio.

You will have to use a mooded driver to enable SLI for different cards, the latest mooded driver is compatible only with 310.09; won't support nVidia driver 314.07.

I have no experience with other brand than EVGA, so far I'm happy, their stuff is pretty stable, price is pretty attractive compare to Gigabyte.

3 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Powerful card, it was a huge upgrade and I was able to max out every game I played without any effort on my system.

Cons: The card began to show signs of possible death just shy of 30 days of using it. It began to have trouble streaming, recording and just playing games. Before the issues I was able to stream Battlefield at 50+ fps. When the issues began the card would stream at 50+ fps then drop to 10fps. It would then rise back to 50fps. It would continue to do this for the duration of the gameplay.

It did the same thing when just recording. So I tested just regular play with no extra software running and it did the same thing but with less intensity, it would drop from 60+ fps down to 20 then go back up to 60+.

I'm returning it for a replacement before I can't. Such is life with refurbished products.

Other Thoughts: I'm about 90% certain that the card was the issue but I don't have time to find out whether or not if it is. The return for replacement limit was only about a day away.

Better safe than sorry.

Manufacturer Response:

Hello,

I apologize to hear that you had a problem with the card. Please let us know if you have any issues with the replacement so we can assist you.

Thank you,
Brandon B

5 out of 5 eggsGreat card! Great price!

Pros: If your worried about buying refurbished. Don't be. Card runs great. Will pick up a 2nd one for sli.

Cons: Runs a little hott for my tastes. Auto fan runs games @ 70c. I just bump up fan speed and I'm happy.

5 out of 5 eggsAwesome

Pros: -Relatively Cheap
-Powerfull

Cons: -Heats a little
-I don't own a second to SLI

Other Thoughts: The card is awesome, it runs most games at full specs. I don't believe there's a better choice considering the awesomeness/price ratio

Pros: Comes exactly as described, and runs things incredibly compared to my previous card. It seems to be working fine, and it's a great deal because it's refurbished.

Cons: It runs a little hot, but that's probably more the fault of my cramped case and the hot weather right now.

Pros: The graphics card worked well enough when it first arrived.

Cons: The card froze my computer repeatedly. Only found out it was the card when I switched back over to my older 4870

Other Thoughts: wish this card would've worked. The GTX 570s really shouldn't be more expensive than $270 seeing what the 7850s are capable of

Manufacturer Response:

Hello,

I do apologize if your system was freezing with the 570. Please contact our 24/7 technical support so we can walk you through troubleshooting the issue or setting up a replacement (888)-881-3842

5 out of 5 eggsGreat OC with little issue.

Pros: Overclocks very well.
Quiet compared to previous cards i've had.
Nothing visible to show its refurbished other than you don't get anything with the card :)

Cons: No cons at all unless you feel entitled to display cables at $50+ off!

Other Thoughts: I was worried of buying refurbished but ive encountered no issues running games and benchmark software while overclocking.

Oced to 825mhz core clock then ran Heaven,Furmark,3Dmark11,Crysis with no issues.
