Pros: good price, and the performance is fairly good, but not so powerful

Cons: the sound is extremely loud

Pros: Ran some games great!

Cons: Did not run the games I wanted though. Crashes in blackops 2 torchlight deadisland. Random bsod during these games made me send it back. Put some poop card in and it worked so it was the card.

Pros: price, pci 2.o 448 cores for photos, hdvideos, video editing

Cons: NOT fro photos, video editing etc. driver the same for the gtx160?
which i found odd. I don't oc or play games. tHis card is for gamers and ocing. But follow my advise below and you should be able to have nice videos and photos.

Other Thoughts: if you bought for video editing, photo etc etc. Do this for best picture.
Download driver from nvidia, save it. uninstall your current driver. run ccleaner to remove any registry entries. Disable antivirus, install new driver. NEXT. uninstall your flash-player for Firefox. run ccleaner remove any registries left. start Firefox, select to allow flash-player plugin. Down load the flash-player install it BUT leave your Firefox window open during install. Next play a video, right click and deselect enable hardware acceleration in settings for flash player. turn anti virus back on. You should have a much better experience watching YouTube HD videos especially going from normal screen to full screen without the lag or start over.

Pros: For the money, I am very happy with this card. There isn't much that my computer can't handle anymore. I'm just waiting for the price to drop again and I'm going to get another one for sli, also very quiet.

Cons: I don't have anything to gripe about, I've herd the gtx570 is worth the extra 30 bucks or however much it costs but that's about it.

Pros: Very fast, works on older Motherboards with only PCI Express 2.0. FTW model is definitely worth it. Have it running a modded Skyrim (not using emb though) at max settings and I get 40-60 frames/second in MOST areas.

Cons: While this card is darn good. I bought it mainly to work with my older motherboard which has a first gen core i7. I do a lot of skyrim modding and with maxed out settings and ultra res HD textures with longest viewing distance I get a little bit of frame chug when there is a ridiculous amount of stuff on screen.

For those of you familiar with skyrim I built up the hearthfire "Lakeview Manor" outside falkreath and I have 4 followers milling about outside. If I stand on the hill to the west of the house and look back at the house/down the river the ridiculous amount of trees + the house + the water ends up giving me a bit of frame lag. That being said I can run around a modded Whiterun with loads of trees at 60 frames/second. So lag is rare on ultra but it's still there.

Other Thoughts: If you have a motherboard with PCIe 3.0 then spring for the 660ti FTW or higher. If you are like me with an older mobo this is a great card that will give you good performance in most games. Think of it as a "High performance" card vs an "Ultra Performance" card.

Also one thing to note is that make sure you use Nvidia's 3d rendering options in order to enhance anti-aliasing and other various render performance in game. Without doing that you will only get high performance before lag. Tweaking the rendering with the Nvidia 3d rendering controls allowed me to push the card to ultra settings... It also renders Anti-Aliasing much better than the in game engine.

As for noise and heat... I really can't tell you much about that because I have a beast rig that when you turn it on it sounds like a jet taking off... soooo yeah... can't tell you much about that. You should be using razor headphones anyway so it shouldn't matter ;)

Pros: 50%-60% gain from old card. I upgraded to this card from a Zotac 550ti. It was fine but not giving me the resolution and FPS that I was looking for. $170 with rebate is not bad at all. I sold my used 550ti for $85 :)

I can play BF3 with high settings at 60-70fps and Planetside 2 at about 40-50fps on max settings *see specs*

Cons: I really wish it had a little for VRAM but I plan on getting a second one to SLI when the price is right.

Pros: Awesome Card. No bigger than any other video card.
Installed with no issues.
Handles all games I play on highest settings (GW2, SC2, D3)

Cons: Only has 1 GPU fan. Card runs a lil hot (nothing horrific) and the 1 fan is on the loud side (This was mainly the reason I knocked off an egg)

Other Thoughts: Waiting for this to drop a little bit more so i can run these babies in SLI.

Pros: I waited about 4 months to buy this card and it was worth the wait! I'm not SuperGamer or anything, but it does everything I ask it to without complaint.

I like the EVGA Precision X toolbox, very easy to use.

Not one problem in every day use in 8 months.

Cons: Rocks like a hurricane! ...but not necessarily in a good way. The fan does make a LOT of noise... certainly 2 fans would have been a better solution, and my card runs fairly hot (I have a hot case) so it will ramp up even when I'm surfing or watching a movie or video. It loses one egg for the tornado simulator.

Other Thoughts: I really agonized over getting the right GPU card... my technical knowledge is fairly limited on stuff like this. But I pulled the trigger on it and I'm very happy with it. By now, there are better cards out, but it still holds it's own.

Pros: My first GeForce GTX 560 Ti (Fermi) 448 Core had some issues with it. It died on me within a month of use, but EVGA was quick to help get it replaced with a new one. Since that time I have thrown everything at this card and it is still running like the first day I got it.

So with that said I have bought another card so I can SLI them together to take advantage of the "NVIDIA SURROUND" technology. I can't wait to see these two running side-by-side pushing three 27in ASUS monitors.

Pros: Extra Bandwidth helps this card handle higher-end AA/AF/AO tasks: I'm very pleased with the combination of cores and 320-bit, thinking I'm getting better throughput on highend graphics computing, translating to a higher performing card than just memory size and clock speeds would make you expect.

I can cards that cost twice as much, but keep telling myself that it's just silly for me to spend THAT much on a card. So i look for bang-for-the-buck video cards, and think 120FPS is unnecessary for gaming: With this card I'm happy because I can play Skyrim at 40FPS at 1600x1200 using all the high resolution mods i want, plus High Quality Ambient Occlusion (you have to use nVidia Inspector to set that up) which just eats up FPS, plus 16x AF and 4xMSAA (to complement FXAA) plus a custom mix of very high to ultra high in-game settings, plus a total of 100 mods. Literally a hundred mods, many of which are texture and lighting.

This card is doing its job. See Other Thoughts for more pluses.

Cons: Darn single fan solution, and noisy at speed, is irritating. I run a very quiet case, using pricey silent fans, and all I ever hear before this card is the whisper of a breeze. One egg off for that nonsense. It would be two eggs if the card wasn''t such a good worker and if EVGA Precision software wasn't available to let me custom set the speeds based on the temperature variations: that software is good, works real nice. My solution will be to make my own two-fan replacement (I have the fans, just been too busy playing Skyrim to stop long enough to apply them). This cared definitely should have come with two fans-- make that two quality fans.

Other Thoughts: EVGA Precision is great software for this card: it has a built in overclocking component that works excellently; has a FPS limiter, which i swear by for fluid gameplay (I set mine at 60FPS, why would you need more?); has the vary-by-temperature fan-speed control mechanism; and a few other goodies. Very nice software for EVGA vid cards, just about as important as the card itself.

last thoughts: I am unafraid to work this card, and it is unafraid to work. it will probably outperform the 660ti in doing the AO/AF/MSAA arena because of its bandwidth too, which is a whole other topic. Worth every dollar I spent and a hundred more. Note, I didn't buy from the egg, but only becasue i got a unusually good deal locally. I buy most of my stuff from the egg, and am always impressed with the way thjey do business. May they continue that simple philosophy: provide quality products and service at reasonable prices. it the right thing to do. And obviously it's a profitable philosophy.
