Is this compatible with socket 775 chipset?

I am running a 1366 and have not yet installed my new card. I see no reason a socket 775 would not work as long as you have a socket that will accept the PICe video card. I'd do a google search for "GTX 550 Ti 775 chipset" and see what users of this combination have to say

you're better off selling the GTX550 and getting at least a GTX660. Also take into consideration that you would need at least a 750W quality PSU (single rail) to drive 2 powerful cards. I would skip the dual card setup and just get one monster card.

I have limited expertise, but I was told it is generally best to only SLI with identical cards.
