Get to the next level with the EVGA GeForce GTX 680. This card delivers truly game-changing performance that taps into the powerful new GeForce architecture to redefine smooth, seamless, lifelike gaming. It offers brand new, never before seen features that will redefine the way you think about performance graphics cards. Expect more from your graphics card that just state-of-the-art features and technology; get faster, smoother and a richer gaming experience with the EVGA GeForce GTX 680.

  • newegg Kepler GPU Architecture NVIDIA's Kepler GPU architecture has been designed from the ground up not just for maximum performance in the latest DirectX 11 games, but optimal performance per watt. The new SMX streaming multiprocessor is twice as efficient as the prior generation and the new geometry engine draws triangles twice as fast. The result is world class performance and the highest image quality in an elegant and power efficient graphics card.
  • newegg NVIDIA GPU Boost Up until now, GPUs have operated at a fixed clock speed when playing 3D games, even if they have the potential to run faster. GPU Boost intelligently monitors graphics work load and increases the clock speed whenever possible. The result is that the GPU always performs at its peak and you get the highest framerate possible.
  • newegg NVIDIA Adaptive Vertical Sync Nothing is more distracting than framerate stuttering and screen tearing. The first tends to occur when framerates are low, the second when framerates are high. Adaptive V-Sync is a smarter way to render frames. At high framerates, V-sync is enabled to eliminate tearing, at low frame rates, it's disabled to minimize stuttering. It gets rid of distractions so you can get on with gaming.
  • newegg NVIDIA Surround with Up To Four Monitors Nothing is as breathtaking as playing your favorite games across three monitors. At 5760 x 1080, the expanded field of view fully engages human peripheral vision and provides for the most immersive experience in racing and flight simulators. Add in a fourth display to keep tabs on chat, email or web while you are gaming.
  • newegg Two New Anti-aliasing Modes: FXAA and TXAA Anti-aliasing smoothes out jagged edges but can be demanding on framerates. FXAA is a new antialiasing technology that produces beautiful smooth lines with minimal performance impact. And with Kepler based GPUs, you'll be able to enable FXAA in hundreds of game titles through the NVIDIA Control Panel. The second mode, TXAA, is an in-game option that combines MSAA, temporal filtering, and post processing for even higher visual fidelity.
  • newegg NVIDIA 3D Vision Ready NVIDIA 3D Vision brings a fully immersive, stereoscopic 3D experience to the PC. A combination of high-tech wireless glasses and advanced software, 3D Vision transforms hundreds of PC games into full stereoscopic 3D. Get up to 2x monitor and keyboard brightness with NVIDIA 3D LightBoost technology. In addition, you can enjoy 3D movies and 3D digital photographs from 3DVisionLive.com in eye popping, crystal-clear quality.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Fast Solid performance. No glitches. Temps good.

Cons: Price

Other Thoughts: Big upgrade from my old 5850. Loads into games so much faster. Had never seen a game countdown in COD for 3 titles until getting this card.

5 out of 5 eggsDOA

Pros: EVGA stands behind their product, so you can feel safe in ordering from them. If you get a bad card, like I did, they work with you in a timely manner to resolve the issue. This was my first time buying an EVGA product and because of how well they handled my issue I will be ordering all my graphic cards from them in the future. As well as recommending them to all my friends.

Cons: The one I ordered worked but had some errors while running games or watching video. It would run fine for a few minutes then have a huge slow down... then work fine and repeat. Looked in event viewer and it was the driver crashing.

Other Thoughts: I RMA'd my first card and they sent me back a brand new in the box card. It was even a FTW version. So I am very happy with how things turned out. So I can't see the reason in taking off an egg.

5 out of 5 eggsSkyrim "Arcade Version"

Pros: I remember in the good ol days of Sega Genesis, when you bought an arcade port of your favorite game only to be disappointed in the lackluster port. Sure the gameplay was sort of there but the graphics? I'am running skyrim at a 58fps. Nvidia says this card should do it at 77.6fps. Problems with the card? Not in the slightest. I'am also running Skyrim highly moded. High texture mods for backgrounds, characters, clothing, creatures and the cherry on top of that is with Sharp Shooters Etreme Graphics ENB graphics card torturer. If I where to be playing the arcade version of skyrim, this is what it would look like. If you want to see the power of this card further check out Nvidia's site showing off Epics Unreal Engine 4 demos running off of one gtx 680. From 580 to 680 there "is" a noticable difference.

Cons: If you don't have one. Make's me wanna buy another for sli overkill.

5 out of 5 eggsAmazing Card

Pros: Extremely fast. Maxes every game I own with at least 4XAA (Excluding Crysis 3, only the Titan can do that though). Build quality is amazing. The aesthetics of this card are just brilliant with the included custom backplate. I personally think it looks better than the FTW/Classified editions. Operates very quietly and fairly cool (highest temperature I've seen ever was 78C). Also uses a surprisingly low amount of power (only 180-200W, which is less than my old 470 yet this card is over 2x faster).

Cons: The price. It's worth it though if you're an Nvidia fan in my opinion.

Other Thoughts: EVGA is an excellent company with great support, will keep buying from them in the future. Also, this card only uses two 6 pin power connectors, in case you couldn't tell from the pictures (since they're stacked).

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent Performer

Pros: -Performs as advertised
-Factory overclock stable
-Runs cool and quiet (for a high end single gpu card)
-High quality backplate makes for a VERY rigid card.

Cons: -Comes covered in clear film to protect the finish, but I ended up partially peeling one of the decorative decals on the fan shroud. Partially my fault, partially cheap design. Not worth an egg.

Other Thoughts: -This card has met my expectations. I got with a DLC game coupon for games I already play, making this an excellent deal.
