Powered by the fastest and most power efficient GPU ever built by NVIDIA, the EVGA GeForce GTX 680 graphics card changes your game with unprecedented performance and features. This card is based on 28nm Kepler architecture and built around 1536 CUDA Cores with 2GB/256-bit GDDR5 memory, producing reality-redefining power and bringing smooth, seamless, true-to-life gaming like you have never experienced before. It’s also factory overclocked to 1084 MHz Base Clock/1150 MHz Boost Clock, a level higher than the 1006MHz/1058MHz than reference design, to pump out higher framerate in the hottest titles. More than speed, this card packs support for all the premium GTX gaming technologies such as NVIDIA Surround, 3D Vision, PhysX and SLI. With these features and more, the EVGA GeForce GTX 680 gives you more than one way to elevate your experience.

  • newegg Kepler GPU Architecture NVIDIA's Kepler GPU architecture has been designed from the ground up not just for maximum performance in the latest DirectX 11 games, but optimal performance per watt. The new SMX streaming multiprocessor is twice as efficient as the prior generation and the new geometry engine draws triangles twice as fast. The result is world class performance and the highest image quality in an elegant and power efficient graphics card.
  • newegg NVIDIA GPU Boost Up until now, GPUs have operated at a fixed clock speed when playing 3D games, even if they have the potential to run faster. GPU Boost intelligently monitors graphics work load and increases the clock speed whenever possible. The result is that the GPU always performs at its peak and you get the highest framerate possible.
  • newegg NVIDIA Adaptive Vertical Sync Nothing is more distracting than framerate stuttering and screen tearing. The first tends to occur when framerates are low, the second when framerates are high. Adaptive V-Sync is a smarter way to render frames. At high framerates, V-sync is enabled to eliminate tearing, at low frame rates, it's disabled to minimize stuttering. It gets rid of distractions so you can get on with gaming.
  • newegg NVIDIA Surround with Up To Four Monitors Nothing is as breathtaking as playing your favorite games across three monitors. At 5760 x 1080, the expanded field of view fully engages human peripheral vision and provides for the most immersive experience in racing and flight simulators. Add in a fourth display to keep tabs on chat, email or web while you are gaming.
  • newegg TXAA AntiAliasing Antialiasing helps to smooth out jagged lines in games. Existing techniques like MSAA are effective at removing jagged lines in still images but struggle with crawling and shimmering artifacts when the player is in motion. TXAA is a new antialiasing mode that combines MSAA, temporal filtering, and post processing for the highest edge quality and minimal shimmering during gameplay.
  • newegg NVIDIA 3D Vision Ready NVIDIA 3D Vision brings a fully immersive, stereoscopic 3D experience to the PC. A combination of high-tech wireless glasses and advanced software, 3D Vision transforms hundreds of PC games into full stereoscopic 3D. Get up to 2x monitor and keyboard brightness with NVIDIA 3D LightBoost technology. In addition, you can enjoy 3D movies and 3D digital photographs from in eye popping, crystal-clear quality.

4 out of 5 eggsGreat card

Pros: The only game this card doesn't destroy is "Witcher 2" I don't really like that game in the first place so I don't care. It burns through every other game i have (MWBO2, Borderlands 2, Tomb Raider, Crysis3, AC3, Far Cry3). Can't wait for teh new splinter cell.

Cons: Witcher 2 stresses it out, but that may be my processor.

Other Thoughts: You get what you pay for.

5 out of 5 eggsSo far, so good

Pros: Quiet, high performance

Cons: Expensive, large ----- both of these were expected

Other Thoughts: I play bf3 1080p ultra settings minus motion blur (because, seriously, who uses that?) with an average of 60-70 FPS depending on how much action is happening. Awesome card. Im upgrading to a 2560x1440 monitor soon, so I hope it holds strong. If it doesn't, I will update my review.

5 out of 5 eggsAbsolutely awesome

Pros: I upgraded from a GTX 465 to this 680 and it is a ridiculous improvement. I went from having to limit some settings, like heavy shadows, to just maxing everything. Plays Skyrim on ultra settings with max distances and never drops below 35 fps, and usually sits at 55-75 fps.

It runs cooler and uses less power than the 465 card. My Windows score on graphics improved from 6.8 to 7.9 - which is the highest it can be.

Cons: None. It's expensive, but it's totally worth it.

Other Thoughts: Running Windows 7 Ultimate 64, 8 GB 1066 RAM, and an i7 960 with EVGA x58 classified mobo.

5 out of 5 eggsVery impressed

Pros: Very fast at stock speeds, runs very quiet, OC software very useful.

Cons: Seems to run a little warm, fan speed rarely goes over 40%, had a little trouble connecting it to a 42" Panasonic viera

Other Thoughts: Upgraded from an AMD Radeon HD 6770 and couldn't be happier. Runs every game I own beautifully and smoothly and quieter than my old gpu. Definitely worth the asking price (470). I haven't really attempted over locking yet and I don't know if I will even bother when it's can already handle everything I throw at it, no sense in potentially shortening the life of the card. On top of that it comes with a great 3 year warranty. Only issues I have, and this may not even be one, is it seems to run a little hot but the cooling fan never really exceeds 40% of its max speed. Haven't had any issues with it yet though. I also had trouble connecting it to my tv through hdmi. I may just need a driver update though.

Currently running it with a 2500k, asrock z68 extreme3 gen3, 16GB ddr3 1600mhz RAM, 250GB Samsung SSD, 730watt psu.

Runs games like crisis 2, metro 2033, skyrim, and borderlands 2 all in 1080p flawlessly.

1 out of 5 eggsWorth if it works.

Pros: It's been more than 1year since GTX680 was one of the best flagship model. Still leading on video gaming.

Cons: This is great VGA, only when it's working.

I bought 2 of these. One was defective. I made RMA for replacement and they sent me back. The reason was "The original tag is delocated.".
I sent back to EVGA as newegg said, and they charged me for repairment.

The problem is not the product, but the seller.

Tip : Even if the serial number sticky tap is flattering and might gonna interfere your cooling fan, DO NOT TOUCH IT.

Other Thoughts: How come a company can sell defective item which is more than 500$. They are the ones who make their country worse.
Thank you for the horrible service.

The lesson that "Don't buy expensive parts from newegg." worths 500$, I regard. :P

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: temps are cool about 65c playing metro 2033, BF3, crysis 2 Nvidia surround. I am using 3 of these in SLI using an ASRock Extreme 9.

Do not make the mistake I did, I did not wait for the 4GB versions to come out when I purchased my first 2 GTX 680's and then purchased a 3rd one to finish up my build a week ago.

at 6018x1080 the VRAM pegs instantly to over 2000 MB's on ultra in these games. I made the mistake of getting excited and wanting a 680. I had the auto notify setup and when I got the email i just could not wait. Now I am regretting not waiting for the 4GB version to come out.

I can solve my VRAM problem by lowering the AA to 2 or 4x .. but if you are a true enthusiast like me and believe that FULL ULTRA also means MAX AA. The I advise you to spend the money on the 4GB version of these cards for your Surround Setup.

Cons: does not overclock at all. I have 3 of these cards and I have tried overclocking them all either individually or together. I can not even increase core or memory by 30 without it crashing. Do not buy these cards if you are wanting to OC them more than they are. I suggest a reference card that is not factory OC'd to do that. I am disapointed in a way because these cards are so powerful and I know they have allot of headroom for OCing. They just wont do it. I do not know if it is something in the cards bios or what.

Other than that 3 of these in SLI on a single 1920x1080 LED monitor scores 128 - 130 FPS maxed out settings in the Heaven benchmark.

to give you a basis of comparison 2 EVGA 570's in SLI would only score a 50 on the heaven benchmark same monitor, processor, ram, motherboard etc. These cards are smoking fast the way they are.

5 out of 5 eggsEX AMD USER IN LOVE!

Pros: I am upgrading from a HD 6970 and as good as the card was, I just needed more. This card does the trick. It has all the options AMD has plus more. Better frame rates, PhysX, faster video encoding due to cuda cores etc.. This card looks nice, It has that classified look to it. I also cant believe how quiet it is, I was shocked. Even at 50% I cant hear it over my case fans. You can max out all current games. The adaptive vsync is all I use, its feaking awesome! The adaptive power management mode is also great. There is no reason for a card to fun full blast if it doesnt need to and this is what that does. It lowers the clocks if it doesnt need them. It also lowers your power bill. My card Idles at 31c with the fan spinning at 39%, silently. Under max load the temps go to 65c which is wonderful, I stll cant hear the fan. Card comes overclocked so that is also a plus. I have no need to overclock it further even though it will "I had to test it".

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: What can I say, Im very impressed. Its overclocked, its FAST FAST, looks nice, plays nice and has great features. The free Borderlands 2 game also rocks! Sorry AMD but you lost me as a video card customer again. 600 series cards use less power and produce less heat while pumping out faster frame rates! It is using new technology and because of that it has great features. Buy this card and you wil be glad you did even if your wallet isnt!

Unrelated game tip: Metro 2033 players - turn off DoF under the DX11 settings and you will get 60+fps. Because if you dont, the game will crush even this card "poor DoF optimization".
