3 out of 5 eggsGood Until Blue Screen

Pros: Works great until I get this blue screen,

Cons: Ever since this video card was installed and drivers were installed I keep getting the Blue Screen of Death from time to time. It works great sometimes for a couple of days and then I get a Blue Screen. Error codes are different each time as follows: PFN_LIST_CORRUPT, MEMORY_MANAGEMENT, SYSTEM_SERVICE_EXCEPTION and REFERENCE_BY_POINTER.

The description of the problem says the same thing each time and that is: Check newly installed hardware and software and reinstall the hardware and drivers and I did to no avail.

The Blue Screens only started after purchasing and installing the video card. After re-booting, works find for a few days.

3 out of 5 eggsgreat-until everything died, twice.

Pros: Worked as intended. Made it possible to play HD video on an aging system.

Cons: After a year of use the computer it was in suddenly died. The whole thing locked up and would not post afterwords. Salvaged the card and used in another old system. That system died after 2 days under the same circumstance. Coincidence? Probably not.

Other Thoughts: It's a mixed bad. Was it a bad card or bad drivers? I can't tell, they both failed under the same drivers in the same way, one after about a year of all day use. The card still worked afterwords but I am afraid to try it in another system at this point. All in all I'd say to be safe I'm going to scrap this card and maybe go for an APU to replace both these fried systems.

2 out of 5 eggsUnstable after 3 months

Pros: Price, Dual DVI, low noise

Cons: Stops working after, maybe overheat and doesn't work anymore?

I bought this for my desktop computer at work. I let the desktop on 100% of the time so I can access from home. One morning, I came in the monitors were not working. After a couple of reset, something was definately wrong since no signal from the card. I removed the card and used the onboard VGA on MOBO and systems works just fine. Next day, i put the card again in the desktop and it works just fine (?!?!)

Two days later I get the same problem. So the card is definately a problem.

Since then I don't use it anymore and my system is 100% stable since many weeks.

I suspect the card is overheating or something and it doesn't work after a while even tho the fan is doing just fine.

Not satisfied, I will be ordering something else to replace this card.

The price is very low but it's still a waste.

It did run flawlessly for about 3 months.

Manufacturer Response:

Hello,
I apologize for any issues you are having with your video card. I would recommend testing the video card in a different PCI-E slot or possibly a different system. To check the temperatures you can download/install our Precision utility at: http://www.evga.com/precision/. The video cards max temperature is 98c. If the issue continues please contact our 24/7 support at 888.881.3842 to further assist you on this matter.

Regards,
EVGA

1 out of 5 eggscame defective

Pros: Cheap

Cons: Product came defective. After finally talking to the manufacturer they said I needed to return the product. So I did at my expense. $12 shipping. And am told i Will be out of a video card for minimum 3 weeks while it investigated and with shipping time.
This is my first experience with a defective product from newegg. But definetly not happy paying 1/4 more for the product that I bought because of the cheap price when it wasnt my fault it came broke to start with.

4 out of 5 eggsDoes what its supposed to.

Pros: Very basic, good price, and you get what you pay for. I bought this card for one reason only, I needed to drive two 23" IPS monitors at their native resolution, and this is the cheapest card I could find that would support that. This has Dual-link DVI x2, which sets it apart from its cheaper brethren the GT 610, which I believe only has one dual-link DVI output, and one single-link DVI output.

Cons: Fermi based GPU, not Kepler. Basically an older technology re-branded, but it works fine for my needs. I do not play games, but I imagine that this card will have some difficultly with modern games.

Other Thoughts: If you are only using this for a media center, or you are only driving one large monitor, then you probably can just go with the GT610 and save yourself 10 bucks. If you plan to drive two large monitors with the two DVI outputs, then you will need this card at a minimum.

5 out of 5 eggsGets the job done

Pros: I use this thing weekly as a church computer and I run two moniters with it. One usually has a video playing give me no problems. I could have probably used the on board graphics but this was a better alternative.

5 out of 5 eggsGood little card

Pros: It works and it has dual DVI's

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: Added this to a Dell Vostro machine along with 4gb of ram and a 500 gb HD. It is installed in a workstation and it pushes two monitors with ease.
