Powered by the fastest and most power efficient GPU ever built by NVIDIA, the EVGA GeForce GTX 680 graphics card changes your game with unprecedented performance and features. This card is based on 28nm Kepler architecture and built around 1536 CUDA Cores with 2GB/256-bit GDDR5 memory, producing reality-redefining power and bringing smooth, seamless, true-to-life gaming like you have never experienced before. It’s also factory overclocked to 1097 MHz Base Clock/1163 MHz Boost Clock, a level higher than the 1006MHz/1058MHz than reference design, to pump out higher framerate in the hottest titles. Dual silent fans deliver quiet cooling. More than speed, this card packs support for all the premium GTX gaming technologies such as NVIDIA Surround, 3D Vision, PhysX and SLI. With these features and more, the EVGA GeForce GTX 680 gives you more than one way to elevate your experience.

  • newegg Kepler GPU Architecture NVIDIA's Kepler GPU architecture has been designed from the ground up not just for maximum performance in the latest DirectX 11 games, but optimal performance per watt. The new SMX streaming multiprocessor is twice as efficient as the prior generation and the new geometry engine draws triangles twice as fast. The result is world class performance and the highest image quality in an elegant and power efficient graphics card.
  • newegg NVIDIA GPU Boost Up until now, GPUs have operated at a fixed clock speed when playing 3D games, even if they have the potential to run faster. GPU Boost intelligently monitors graphics work load and increases the clock speed whenever possible. The result is that the GPU always performs at its peak and you get the highest framerate possible.
  • newegg NVIDIA Adaptive Vertical Sync Nothing is more distracting than framerate stuttering and screen tearing. The first tends to occur when framerates are low, the second when framerates are high. Adaptive V-Sync is a smarter way to render frames. At high framerates, V-sync is enabled to eliminate tearing, at low frame rates, it's disabled to minimize stuttering. It gets rid of distractions so you can get on with gaming.
  • newegg NVIDIA Surround with Up To Four Monitors Nothing is as breathtaking as playing your favorite games across three monitors. At 5760 x 1080, the expanded field of view fully engages human peripheral vision and provides for the most immersive experience in racing and flight simulators. Add in a fourth display to keep tabs on chat, email or web while you are gaming.
  • newegg TXAA AntiAliasing Antialiasing helps to smooth out jagged lines in games. Existing techniques like MSAA are effective at removing jagged lines in still images but struggle with crawling and shimmering artifacts when the player is in motion. TXAA is a new antialiasing mode that combines MSAA, temporal filtering, and post processing for the highest edge quality and minimal shimmering during gameplay.
  • newegg NVIDIA 3D Vision Ready NVIDIA 3D Vision brings a fully immersive, stereoscopic 3D experience to the PC. A combination of high-tech wireless glasses and advanced software, 3D Vision transforms hundreds of PC games into full stereoscopic 3D. Get up to 2x monitor and keyboard brightness with NVIDIA 3D LightBoost technology. In addition, you can enjoy 3D movies and 3D digital photographs from 3DVisionLive.com in eye popping, crystal-clear quality.

5 out of 5 eggsReally an awesome card.

Pros: Very quiet.
Runs very cool, under load around 60C.
Fast as hell.
Can handle any game at High/Ultra settings at 1080p.
OCs nicely.

Cons: Dual fans blow a little air back into case (not a prob for me, but may be or some).
Pricey.
Other than that - no cons.

Other Thoughts: This is really a sweet card. I am very happy with purchase. I can't believe how quiet and cool this card is. Running BF3 all settings on Ultra (1920x1080), get 70-100FPS. On BF4 all settings maxed same resolution, 60-80 FPS. Freakin' outstanding card. EVGA is a great company.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat video card

Pros: I am running Battlefield 3, planetside 2, Arma 2, and any other games on ultra or very high graphics with no problems. This thing is very powerful and will run your game with no problem.

Cons: Really big, so make sure your case will fit this beast, I had to get a new case because it did not fit, so I am currently using the Scout 2 case and it fits perfectly.

2 out of 5 eggsEVGA SC Sig2 GTX 680

Pros: Solid card, will run most games at max settings without any issues, well when it actually runs. Runs cool and quite even with the dual fans.

Cons: Installed the card right out of the box and immediately had issues with the driver crashes and completely locking up the system. After a months worth of tickets back and forth from EVGA's Technical support they deemed the card faulty. I have had this card for over a month and nothing but problems. Evga's Stepup program wont even let me upgrade to a new 780 that was just release regardless of what I was willing to pay in price difference.

Other Thoughts: This was and will be the only EVGA card I will ever buy. I have heard great things about how their support is. Took forever to actually get them to approve an RMA for a bad card and the stepup program is a complete joke. Wishing I could return this card for a refund.

Manufacturer Response:

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Amazing card for the money. I came from a GTX 670 FTW and I wasn't expecting a big increase but this thing definitely surprised me. The 670 would idle around 28c this one idles around 24c thanks to the dual fans. Also alot more quiet then most 680's. Plays BF3 on 1080p @ 85-120fps on ultra.

Cons: The PCB is a little weak even after adding a backplate.

5 out of 5 eggsBeast of a card.

Pros: Great card. I upgraded from a GTX 480 and it blows it out of the water in all aspects. It's way more quiet, so much cooler than the 480. My 480 would idle around 35c-40c and load about 70c-80c. My 680 idles 20c flat, and loads 35c-40c. Such a nice card. It performs substantially better in all games. Never drops the FPS below 55 in even the most graphical games I've played. Well worth every penny spent. Love the fact that it's factory OC also.

Cons: None come to mind.

Pros: Spec Wise this card is very solid
