Transform your games with a new level of realism and environmental interaction with the EVGA GeForce GTX 680 FTW Standard. Based on the state-of-the-art 28nm Kepler architecture, the EVGA GeForce GTX 680 FTW Standard is built around 1536 CUDA Cores and 4GB/256-bit GDDR5 memory, delivering reality-redefining performance for your to enjoy faster, smoother and a richer HD game in the latest FPS, RTS, MMORPG and RACING games. This card also supports full set of NVIDIA GTX technology, such as NVIDIA GPU Boost, NVIDIA Adaptive Vertical Sync, NVIDIA Surround and NVIDIA PhysX Technology. These sophisticated technologies offer you more than one way to elevate your experience.

  • newegg Kepler GPU Architecture NVIDIA's Kepler GPU architecture has been designed from the ground up not just for maximum performance in the latest DirectX 11 games, but optimal performance per watt. The new SMX streaming multiprocessor is twice as efficient as the prior generation and the new geometry engine draws triangles twice as fast. The result is world class performance and the highest image quality in an elegant and power efficient graphics card.
  • newegg NVIDIA GPU Boost Up until now, GPUs have operated at a fixed clock speed when playing 3D games, even if they have the potential to run faster. GPU Boost intelligently monitors graphics work load and increases the clock speed whenever possible. The result is that the GPU always performs at its peak and you get the highest framerate possible.
  • newegg NVIDIA Adaptive Vertical Sync Nothing is more distracting than framerate stuttering and screen tearing. The first tends to occur when framerates are low, the second when framerates are high. Adaptive V-Sync is a smarter way to render frames. At high framerates, V-sync is enabled to eliminate tearing, at low frame rates, it's disabled to minimize stuttering. It gets rid of distractions so you can get on with gaming.
  • newegg NVIDIA Surround with Up To Four Monitors Nothing is as breathtaking as playing your favorite games across three monitors. At 5760 x 1080, the expanded field of view fully engages human peripheral vision and provides for the most immersive experience in racing and flight simulators. Add in a fourth display to keep tabs on chat, email or web while you are gaming.
  • newegg TXAA AntiAliasing Antialiasing helps to smooth out jagged lines in games. Existing techniques like MSAA are effective at removing jagged lines in still images but struggle with crawling and shimmering artifacts when the player is in motion. TXAA is a new antialiasing mode that combines MSAA, temporal filtering, and post processing for the highest edge quality and minimal shimmering during gameplay.
  • newegg NVIDIA 3D Vision Ready NVIDIA 3D Vision brings a fully immersive, stereoscopic 3D experience to the PC. A combination of high-tech wireless glasses and advanced software, 3D Vision transforms hundreds of PC games into full stereoscopic 3D. Get up to 2x monitor and keyboard brightness with NVIDIA 3D LightBoost technology. In addition, you can enjoy 3D movies and 3D digital photographs from 3DVisionLive.com in eye popping, crystal-clear quality.

5 out of 5 eggsNice Grapgics card

Pros: Allows me to play games at max settings, easy to overclock with stability with EVGA precision X @

Power target:131%
+103MHz core clock
+500MHz mem clock

Stock fan can hold it at about 80 C when running FurMark burn

Cons: Fan on unit gets a little loud at higher temps, if noise bothers you I would reccomend secondary cooling on the card. It doesn't bother me too much though so no egg reduction.

2 out of 5 eggsway overrated

Pros: quiet, looks fancy.got some cool stickers!

Cons: And i also got this really annoying stutter lines, plays with my youtube netflix everything ,i cant even scroll netflix without sing these phantom stutters. Been all over google wording it several ways, looking up forums etc.. the whole bit. Still got the stutter. My 295 may have not been directx11 and it was loud ,but i didnt have problems. For the price i paid for this 680 i should have a flawless card! Now i regret not going with something else.

Other Thoughts: I am a loyal fan of evga video cards. but this product war with amd/ nvdia is putting the consumer in the middle. and charging way too much for basically junk. This purchased has ispired me to look in the amd direction for future purchases. hand this 1 down to the kids lol here kids have some bleeps when ya watch your movies.

5 out of 5 eggsThree screen of gaming goodness

Pros: Easy to setup in Win 7.
Runs every game I can through at it with no issues (save FFXIV 1.0 that was just horrendous coding though).

Cons: I need a second one still >_<

Other Thoughts: Needed a multi-display app to get wallpaper to span properly. Win7 doesn't let you place multiple monitors properly in the setup

5 out of 5 eggsAwesome Card

Pros: Upgraded from SLI'd 560 Ti's and there is a huge difference in frames. I'm able to play on high settings while frapsing with decent fps. Without frapsing I can run triple A title games with high or near ultra graphics with 50-70 fps. Other games it runs 120+ FPS.

Games I've played recently that I can run between high and ultra are crysis 3. 50-70FPS. If I bump AA up to 4x+ frames significantly decrease.

While playing PS2 my CPU (2600k) was bottlenecking my gpu. I OC'd to 4.4 ghz and it switchs between both cpu and gpu for bottlenecking so I hit the sweet spot. Definitely increased performance on PS2. Haven't tried Crysis 3 yet with OC'd CPU.

Fans run pretty quiet but I don't notice them because I have a headset on.

Also runs games on my 42" LCD/Plasma T.V. at pretty similiar frames to my 24" Monitor.

GPU looks pretty sweet as well I'd have to say, nice and clean structure.

Plays perfect for following games. Borderlands 2, Deadspace 3, crysis 3, Planetside 2, Batman Arkham Asylum. And a multitude of other games that don't have near as high system requirements as the games I listed above.

Cons: Price is pretty steep, but the 4gb definitely worth it if you plan on playing games with huge resolution. IE 42" T.V's.

Almost didn't fit in my medium tower, had to push wires aside connecting to my power supply to fit the bad boy in.

Other Thoughts: Worth it for the price if you like the eye candy for recently released games.

5 out of 5 eggsGeForce 680 GTX P4-3685

Pros: I purchased an ASUS 580 GTX upon release and had nothing but issues with the card. After months of shipping the card to ASUS on my dime (worst customer service I have ever received), they replaced it with a reference 580 GTX, which had no issues. With that being said, I was weary about jumping to a 680 GTX, but needed to either add another graphics card or go with a Kepler to support my new display setup (4x Dell U2410 displays).

I have not had any issues with the card yet. I'm running Windows 8 and have shifted between running NV Surround with accessory display for some games and primarily running the four displays in extended mode. It has handled everything marvelously. My rig consists of an Intel 2600K @ 4.8 GHz, 32 GB RAM, SSD, etc. The purchase also came with a free copy of Assassin's Creed 3 and Borderlands 2.

The card is quieter, cooler, and performs better than my 580 GTX. Have no regrets whatsoever with my purchase.

Cons: None at the moment.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Performance

Pros: I upgraded to two 680s from two 6970s. The difference is much greater than I thought it would be. Skyrim with tons of mods (really, tons) and everything maxed out runs like butter on my 2560x1600 display.

Cons: One of the cards would cause windows to crash once in a while and then recover from a video driver failure. That one is currently being RMA'd. (Easy process so far.)

Other Thoughts: Here's the thing: During the RMA, I'm having to use just the good card. And this is why I am writing this review and giving 5 stars despite having to do an RMA. This thing is STILL performing better than my Crossfire 6970s, with only one card! This is a great video card. If you happen to have really bad luck like me and get a lemon, stick with it, because the performance is worth it IMO. Not a bad price point for such a high-performance card.

4 out of 5 eggsGeForce GTX 680

Pros: I like the overall preformance of it. Easy to setup.

Cons: Seems like there are some artifacts and I don't know how to get rid of them. It doesn't setup to watercooling since it isn't an original profile.

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent at Ultra Graphics settings

Pros: Great FPS, Runs Planetside 2/Natural Selection 2/Assasin's Creed 3/Borderlands 2 all at max settings or ultra. I have a 28" ASUS screen at 1920X1080 with 3770k/16Gb ram/SSD and it is running a solid 50-60 in the midst of a firefight on Planetside 2's crowded servers.

Cons: can run slightly warm, fan is slightly loud (not terribly)

5 out of 5 eggsWe're in the future, and the future is fantastic.

Pros: This card continually amazes me with everything I throw at it. Having just upgraded from SLi GTX 570s overclocked, I didn't know what to expect as far as game performance after having experienced the glory of dual GPU performance. Let me just say that I no longer hesitate to go into any game's advanced video options and crank it all up to 11. This card handles EVERYTHING without any problems or FPS drops below 50. If I recall, even Planetside 2 was running huge 100 player battles around 50 FPS with max settings at 1920x1080.

Cons: Fan can sometimes get on the louder side, but nothing that is going to be a deal breaker or annoyance in the slightest. I'm used to hearing 7 fans in my case as it is, so the addition of a high performance GPU like this isn't a bother.

Other Thoughts: My other specs when getting these results were on an i7 3930K OC @ 4.7GHz, 32GB Corsair Vengeance OC @ 1866, all on an X79 Sabertooth Motherboard and a 1200W Corsair power supply.

5 out of 5 eggsAbout 2x faster than my old 580

Pros: After a round of playing though some games (Dishonored, Borderlands 2, Metro 2033, Dead Space 2, and Battlefield 3), I can easily say this thing is 2x faster than my old GTX 580.

Not to mention I can now run games at 2160p which was previously impossible. UE3 games handle 2160p AND 4xSGSSAA just fine. I'm insanely impressed.

Cons: None so far.

Other Thoughts: Why didn't I get this sooner?
Other specs:
Intel Core i7-3770K
8GB CORSAIR Dominator Platinum DDR3
