Powered by the fastest and most power efficient GPU ever built by NVIDIA, the EVGA GeForce GTX 680 graphics card changes your game with unprecedented performance and features. This card is based on 28nm Kepler architecture and built around 1536 CUDA Cores with 4GB/256-bit GDDR5 memory, producing reality-redefining power and bringing smooth, seamless, true-to-life gaming like you have never experienced before. It’s also factory overclocked to 1111 MHz Base Clock/1176 MHz Boost Clock, a level higher than the 1006MHz/1058MHz than reference design, to pump out higher framerates in the hottest titles. More than speed, this card packs support for all the premium GTX gaming technologies such as NVIDIA Surround, 3D Vision, PhysX and SLI. With these features and more, the EVGA GeForce GTX 680 gives you more than one way to elevate your experience.

  • newegg Kepler GPU Architecture NVIDIA's Kepler GPU architecture has been designed from the ground up not just for maximum performance in the latest DirectX 11 games, but optimal performance per watt. The new SMX streaming multiprocessor is twice as efficient as the prior generation and the new geometry engine draws triangles twice as fast. The result is world class performance and the highest image quality in an elegant and power efficient graphics card.
  • newegg NVIDIA GPU Boost Up until now, GPUs have operated at a fixed clock speed when playing 3D games, even if they have the potential to run faster. GPU Boost intelligently monitors graphics work load and increases the clock speed whenever possible. The result is that the GPU always performs at its peak and you get the highest framerate possible.
  • newegg NVIDIA Adaptive Vertical Sync Nothing is more distracting than framerate stuttering and screen tearing. The first tends to occur when framerates are low, the second when framerates are high. Adaptive V-Sync is a smarter way to render frames. At high framerates, V-sync is enabled to eliminate tearing, at low frame rates, it's disabled to minimize stuttering. It gets rid of distractions so you can get on with gaming.
  • newegg NVIDIA Surround with Up To Four Monitors Nothing is as breathtaking as playing your favorite games across three monitors. At 5760 x 1080, the expanded field of view fully engages human peripheral vision and provides for the most immersive experience in racing and flight simulators. Add in a fourth display to keep tabs on chat, email or web while you are gaming.
  • newegg TXAA AntiAliasing Antialiasing helps to smooth out jagged lines in games. Existing techniques like MSAA are effective at removing jagged lines in still images but struggle with crawling and shimmering artifacts when the player is in motion. TXAA is a new antialiasing mode that combines MSAA, temporal filtering, and post processing for the highest edge quality and minimal shimmering during gameplay.
  • newegg NVIDIA 3D Vision Ready NVIDIA 3D Vision brings a fully immersive, stereoscopic 3D experience to the PC. A combination of high-tech wireless glasses and advanced software, 3D Vision transforms hundreds of PC games into full stereoscopic 3D. Get up to 2x monitor and keyboard brightness with NVIDIA 3D LightBoost technology. In addition, you can enjoy 3D movies and 3D digital photographs from 3DVisionLive.com in eye popping, crystal-clear quality.

5 out of 5 eggsThe Beast...

Pros: Superior overclocking capabilities. Good looks. The white led strip on the front matches my rig well. I have scores on various benchmarks beating out Titans with the overclock I was able to achieve. I was able to get the core up to 1286 Mhz with the boost kicking in and the memory at 7500 MHz!!! I know I hit the silicon lottery with this thing... But WOW!

Cons: Price, especially now that the 700 series are out. EVGA needs to get the prices in order. I would like a second one, but not at the current price. You can get a 770 with slightly better performance for much less. Size, I have a full tower but for smaller towers this card may be pushing it. Noise, this card gets a bit loud when your really putting it under a heavy load.

Other Thoughts: I want another, but I might just upgrade to a 780 unless they get the pricing right.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: >runs all my games in ultra settings while mainting high fps. RIFT, crisis 3, skyrim with over 50 mods.

>runs PhysX applications extremely well.

>Nvidia control panel makes games look even better while provoding better performance and higher fps in every single game I own

>even capped at 55% fan speed this card runs extremely quiet and stays very cool.

>for a card of this caliber it also is very power consumption friendly

Cons: >price. it is a tad expensive but you get what you pay for.

>size. I wouldn't get this card unless I had a full tower and good wire/cable management

>not so much a con with the card itself but a few times during driver updates the NVidia driver crashed and wouldn't let me access the control panel. and since the update crashed during install when I tried reinstalling I would get an error saying my driver was corrupted. when I tried uninstalling the driver I would get the same issue. only option I was left with was reformatting my C drive. however I am sure this was an error on my part during the install. and even while the control panel was inaccessible the card preformed very well and I suffered no fps loss in games.

Other Thoughts: I love this card. I upgraded from a 480 and noticed a HUGE improvement in virtually all areas. Games run much better and smoother, fan is a lot quieter, card consumes less power. The only issue ive had with this card wasn't with the card itself but the driver.

5 out of 5 eggsVery nice card

Pros: -Custom built Card.
-4gb memory.
-Better binned chip for higher OC than most 680's
-Lower fan noise and better cooler than typical 680's.
-Most will boost higher than advertised clock. (mine boost to 1267 out of the box without me touching any manual overclock).
-Evga is in my opinion the best company to buy video cards from with unrivaled customer service.

Cons: -Does not come with EVBOT anymore.
-Very large card in both width and length. May require modification of computer case to fit even in larger cases.
-Gtx 780 was just released and GTX 770 will in a matter of day's meaning this great card will get overlooked.

Other Thoughts: This is a great card I have worked with many different models of the GTX 670 and 680 and I have found these to come with better binned chips that have more headroom than most I also realy like the cooler/fan setup on these cards offering better cooling and more quiet fan than standard 670's/680's.

I was so impressed with this card that I bought another to run in SLI even though the GTX 780 was released as two of these will handle anything you throw at them plus has 4gb of memory which will help with future proofing as games are already reaching the 3gb mark at 1080p.

If this card will fit in your case I would still recommend it even with the new series just releasing as it is not a typical GTX 680 and it is getting easier to find a good deal on this card most of these will surpass the new GTX 770 in performance and get close enough to a GTX 780 while being much cheaper. Great card.

5 out of 5 eggsGTX680Classy

Pros: 2nd fastest single core gpu on the planet. the titan is 1st and costs 1k. anybody that is disappointed in this card is doing something wrong.
the two reviews below mine were written by "bleep bleep" so pay them no mind.
if you have a 2nd gen i5/i7 and above with comparable core components then this card is for you.

Cons: we would all like for this card to cost 200.00............

Other Thoughts: im not sure why my first review that i placed was not posted as it raved on and on in detail but oh well. with "bleep bleep" posting bad reviews this card needs all the five star reviews it can get, and deserves because there is only one card faster and this card is built like a tank, period.

1 out of 5 eggsDefective

Pros: Gnarly powerful card, if it worked.

Cons: Awaiting Metro Last Light, i decided to order a new card, seemed like a beast. After installing the card itself I did a clean install of Windows 7 ultimate x64. After playing Metro for about 5 minutes, blue(black screen, can't see) screen of death. Later i tried a game that didn't even use the gpu, 10 minutes in, same thing. No matter what i do, crashes, crashes everywhere.

3 out of 5 eggsNot very impressed.

Pros: -Look and feels great
-very high quality
-never goes past 60c

Cons: -Can only run some games on max.
-not performing as well as i would expect.

Other Thoughts: I have 2 of these in sli and they're just not what you would expect. i mean you would think this in sli would blow everything else out of the water but i'm having trouble running crysis 3, the witcher 2 and metro last light on max settings. they are very demanding games but for my set up to run those games under 40 fps.

Manufacturer Response:

Hello,

If possible could you send me some benchmarks using these cards along with your system information? You can contact me directly at bbrunson@evga.com

Thank you,
Brandon B
