Powered by the fastest and most power efficient GPU ever built by NVIDIA, the EVGA GeForce GTX 680 graphics card changes your game with unprecedented performance and features. This card is based on 28nm Kepler architecture and built around 1536 CUDA Cores with 4GB/256-bit GDDR5 memory, producing reality-redefining power and bringing smooth, seamless, true-to-life gaming like you have never experienced before. It’s also factory overclocked to 1111 MHz Base Clock/1176 MHz Boost Clock, a level higher than the 1006MHz/1058MHz than reference design, to pump out higher framerates in the hottest titles. More than speed, this card packs support for all the premium GTX gaming technologies such as NVIDIA Surround, 3D Vision, PhysX and SLI. With these features and more, the EVGA GeForce GTX 680 gives you more than one way to elevate your experience.

  • newegg Kepler GPU Architecture NVIDIA's Kepler GPU architecture has been designed from the ground up not just for maximum performance in the latest DirectX 11 games, but optimal performance per watt. The new SMX streaming multiprocessor is twice as efficient as the prior generation and the new geometry engine draws triangles twice as fast. The result is world class performance and the highest image quality in an elegant and power efficient graphics card.
  • newegg NVIDIA GPU Boost Up until now, GPUs have operated at a fixed clock speed when playing 3D games, even if they have the potential to run faster. GPU Boost intelligently monitors graphics work load and increases the clock speed whenever possible. The result is that the GPU always performs at its peak and you get the highest framerate possible.
  • newegg NVIDIA Adaptive Vertical Sync Nothing is more distracting than framerate stuttering and screen tearing. The first tends to occur when framerates are low, the second when framerates are high. Adaptive V-Sync is a smarter way to render frames. At high framerates, V-sync is enabled to eliminate tearing, at low frame rates, it's disabled to minimize stuttering. It gets rid of distractions so you can get on with gaming.
  • newegg NVIDIA Surround with Up To Four Monitors Nothing is as breathtaking as playing your favorite games across three monitors. At 5760 x 1080, the expanded field of view fully engages human peripheral vision and provides for the most immersive experience in racing and flight simulators. Add in a fourth display to keep tabs on chat, email or web while you are gaming.
  • newegg TXAA AntiAliasing Antialiasing helps to smooth out jagged lines in games. Existing techniques like MSAA are effective at removing jagged lines in still images but struggle with crawling and shimmering artifacts when the player is in motion. TXAA is a new antialiasing mode that combines MSAA, temporal filtering, and post processing for the highest edge quality and minimal shimmering during gameplay.
  • newegg NVIDIA 3D Vision Ready NVIDIA 3D Vision brings a fully immersive, stereoscopic 3D experience to the PC. A combination of high-tech wireless glasses and advanced software, 3D Vision transforms hundreds of PC games into full stereoscopic 3D. Get up to 2x monitor and keyboard brightness with NVIDIA 3D LightBoost technology. In addition, you can enjoy 3D movies and 3D digital photographs from 3DVisionLive.com in eye popping, crystal-clear quality.

5 out of 5 eggsGTX680Classy

Pros: 2nd fastest single core gpu on the planet. the titan is 1st and costs 1k. anybody that is disappointed in this card is doing something wrong.
the two reviews below mine were written by "bleep bleep" so pay them no mind.
if you have a 2nd gen i5/i7 and above with comparable core components then this card is for you.

Cons: we would all like for this card to cost 200.00............

Other Thoughts: im not sure why my first review that i placed was not posted as it raved on and on in detail but oh well. with "bleep bleep" posting bad reviews this card needs all the five star reviews it can get, and deserves because there is only one card faster and this card is built like a tank, period.

1 out of 5 eggsDefective

Pros: Gnarly powerful card, if it worked.

Cons: Awaiting Metro Last Light, i decided to order a new card, seemed like a beast. After installing the card itself I did a clean install of Windows 7 ultimate x64. After playing Metro for about 5 minutes, blue(black screen, can't see) screen of death. Later i tried a game that didn't even use the gpu, 10 minutes in, same thing. No matter what i do, crashes, crashes everywhere.

3 out of 5 eggsNot very impressed.

Pros: -Look and feels great
-very high quality
-never goes past 60c

Cons: -Can only run some games on max.
-not performing as well as i would expect.

Other Thoughts: I have 2 of these in sli and they're just not what you would expect. i mean you would think this in sli would blow everything else out of the water but i'm having trouble running crysis 3, the witcher 2 and metro last light on max settings. they are very demanding games but for my set up to run those games under 40 fps.

Manufacturer Response:

5 out of 5 eggsEpic

Pros: I push this card as hard as I can and I've never had a problem with it. It runs everything to the extreme.

Cons: None except for its size... But bigger is better and badder. :)

5 out of 5 eggsFlat Out Awesome

Pros: Great performance. Running 2 in SLI. At 110% power target and a 41 offset, one hits 1254 and the other 1267 with +200 Memory. Both boost above listed speeds at stock settings as well.

I could probably push past those settings, but I don't have any reason to. Crysis 3, Far Cry 3, Battlefield 3, Sleeping Dogs, Hitman: Absolution, Crysis, Crysis: Warhead, Metro 2033, Batman: Arkham City, Batman: Arkham Asylum, whatever - these things shred everything.

Runs cool and quiet, generally. The blower configuration helps keep temps down in SLI. Fan profile can be set pretty low with temps staying reasonable.

The 4GB of memory, while not used often, is handy for piling on texture mods and some games will use it by default. A little future proofing doesn't hurt either.

Cons: Big, they're monsters. I can't imagine using these in any mid-sized case I've used, though there may be some where they'll fit.

When the fans are revved up, you can hear the wind blowing out the back. It is quiet compared to other cards fan noise IME (all of my recent performance cards have dumped air into the case), but takes a little getting used to just because it is different.

Bright white light on side messes up the aesthetic of my otherwise all-red lighting.

Other Thoughts: Both of mine are refurbs received from EVGA after repeated problems with my 680 SC Signature 2 and its replacements. Dealing with multiple RMAs was a pain, but EVGA really came through in the service department in getting me the initial upgrade and then giving me a second swap to another classified to keep my SLI. Both classifieds have been perfect from the get-go.

5 out of 5 eggs"DOMINATING!"

Pros: This thing is awesome, feels awesome, outplays almost every game I put it against. The card's default cooling and clock settings are better than anything I could configure (without evgabot). I play on a 55inch plasma and it doesn't seem to slow it down much, a tiny bit better on a 27inch Asus. So nice to be able to throw any game on max settings and play without ANY worry UGH thank you :)

Cons: Not really a con. I love how big it is, and that it JUST fits in a Corsair Graphite monster big gaming case.

Other Thoughts: It seemed to work better before I did some custom fan settings and very light overclocking, I don't thinks it's a problem with the card but maybe with OCing software or maybe I did something wrong D: I've been looking for a way to maybe reverse this effect, I think it may be a driver issue I am not savvy enough to fix.

P.S. I keep my case locked with this monster, for fear of it eating me or my dog in the night.

2 out of 5 eggsMy first DOA so sad....

Pros: Great card moves every game at high quality Far Cry3, Tomb Raider Assassins Creed FSX ect. all ultra high... Quiet card with low heat I personally dont know anythin about OCing but who needs it this card hammers everything I throw at it even ARMA bows at this beast of a GPU

Cons: Why 2 eggs you say? Well its a bad card out the box, I formated my PC, reinstall the drivers for Nvidia website, tested on another PC and same problem... It glitches the bottom task bar at the top of the screen; movies, games glitch in random occasions and loses audio in some occasions too. Just hope that Newegg can proses my replacement on a timely matter.

Other Thoughts: I will give the card another try since I was impressed with the video quality it demonstrated... there are good GPUs and bad ones I just so happen to get the bad one this time. Future buyers don't discourage my rating its just that I'v always had high expectations from Nvidia and this time they let me down tisk...tisk...tisk.
