Get to the next level with the EVGA GeForce GTX 670. This card delivers truly game-changing performance that taps into the powerful new GeForce architecture to redefine smooth, seamless, lifelike gaming. It offers some newest features to redefine the way you think about performance graphics cards. Expect more from your graphics card than just state-of-the-art features and technology; get a faster, smoother and richer gaming experience with the EVGA GeForce GTX 670.

  • newegg Kepler GPU Architecture NVIDIA's Kepler GPU architecture has been designed from the ground up not just for maximum performance in the latest DirectX 11 games, but optimal performance per watt. The new SMX streaming multiprocessor is twice as efficient as the prior generation and the new geometry engine draws triangles twice as fast. The result is world class performance and the highest image quality in an elegant and power efficient graphics card.
  • newegg NVIDIA GPU Boost Up until now, GPUs have operated at a fixed clock speed when playing 3D games, even if they have the potential to run faster. GPU Boost intelligently monitors graphics work load and increases the clock speed whenever possible. The result is that the GPU always performs at its peak and you get the highest framerate possible.
  • newegg NVIDIA Adaptive Vertical Sync Nothing is more distracting than framerate stuttering and screen tearing. The first tends to occur when framerates are low, the second when framerates are high. Adaptive V-Sync is a smarter way to render frames. At high framerates, V-sync is enabled to eliminate tearing, at low frame rates, it's disabled to minimize stuttering. It gets rid of distractions so you can get on with gaming.
  • newegg NVIDIA Surround with Up To Four Monitors Nothing is as breathtaking as playing your favorite games across three monitors. At 5760 x 1080, the expanded field of view fully engages human peripheral vision and provides for the most immersive experience in racing and flight simulators. Add in a fourth display to keep tabs on chat, email or web while you are gaming.
  • newegg Two New Anti-aliasing Modes: FXAA and TXAA Anti-aliasing smoothes out jagged edges but can be demanding on framerates. FXAA is a new antialiasing technology that produces beautiful smooth lines with minimal performance impact. And with Kepler based GPUs, you'll be able to enable FXAA in hundreds of game titles through the NVIDIA Control Panel. The second mode, TXAA, is an in-game option that combines MSAA, temporal filtering, and post processing for even higher visual fidelity.
  • newegg NVIDIA 3D Vision Ready NVIDIA 3D Vision brings a fully immersive, stereoscopic 3D experience to the PC. A combination of high-tech wireless glasses and advanced software, 3D Vision transforms hundreds of PC games into full stereoscopic 3D. Get up to 2x monitor and keyboard brightness with NVIDIA 3D LightBoost technology. In addition, you can enjoy 3D movies and 3D digital photographs in eye popping, crystal-clear quality.

5 out of 5 eggsRuns great.

Pros: Have been impressed so far. Handles everything so far. The EVGA Precision Utility is very easy to control. Can tweak memory, clock speed and voltage easily. The built in FPS limiter helps to save card strain. I have yet to see the card run above 50%. I run my games at 1080p with all settings on max. Amazing. Those looking to watercool your card, use the gtx 680 blocks. I did. It works.

Cons: LE. Price difference is about $10.

4 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Ran cool and fast.
Was able to play the most taxing games I own on highest settings with ease.

Cons: Came with a dud HDMI port and had to RMA. After a few days, I got a message saying the card was damaged and I needed to pay $40.00 to fix it. Apparently 2 resistors broke en route, and the card no longer worked. Checked with EVGA, and the rep first said he didn't know if the box was damaged, then said it wasn't. Still unsure how two critical resistors broke in a box filled with bubble wrap.

2 out of 5 eggsGood Product

Pros: + NEWEGG Fast shipping
+ Cheaper then 680
+ Fast in most games

Cons: + Died within a month and screen start to show artifacts
+ Temp were high since Day 1 maybe I received the defective card from begning
+ Got very loud due to reference cooler

Other Thoughts: Need good airflow for this card, instead of LE get a regular FTW version which is faster.

5 out of 5 eggsPhenomenal

Pros: This card has done nothing but satisfy my needs! I upgraded from an AMD Radeon 6850, and MAN is there a difference. I can max out any game i throw at it, including AA settings, and still get 60+ Fps in most. The card also runs fairly cool, i use EVGA Precision X to control the fan speeds. The card never goes over about 62C on a full load.

Cons: None, im beyond satisfied with this card. Props to EVGA for their great build quality!

Other Thoughts: Like i had said in my "Pros" this card can run quite cool, i recommend using EVGA Precision X, or somthing similar like Msi Afterburner to control your fan curve, and of course... do some overclocking if you feel the urge......... Cheers :)

4 out of 5 eggsSmall issues, but I can live with them

Pros: -Adaptive V-Sync
-two Anti-aliasing modes
-3D Vision/ supports 3D play back
-near silent
-Runs cool
-one came with borderlands 2 and Assassin's Creed 3
-SLI Ready
-works with 90% of my games
-Fast
-Extremely easy to install-dropped right in and didn't require any wiggling to get into the PCI-E slots
-Each Card came with VGA to DVI adapters

Cons: -didn't come with a back plate

-Kind of big and is kind of heavy for it's size. Didn't bother me much but it surprised my little brother.

-Did not come with an SLI bridge; Luckily my Mobo came with a 2 way SLI bridge

-I had to remove the bars between the rear expansion slot grills on my case.

-The driver it came with caused the cards the crash frequently. After updating to 310.90 it driver seemed to crash more often. I then downloaded the nVIDIA GeForce Experience Beta and installed the beta driver 313.96 . The driver still crashes from time to time but it's a lot less than it was with Driver 310.90

-Mail in Rebate was labeled "Return to sender" -Please see other-

Other Thoughts: -I bought one Graphics card in November and I sent in the rebate. And I didn't hear anything until Early this month. Last week I got it back in the mail label "Return to Sender" due to the address being invalid/ Receiver had moved. The envelope was badly ripped and the rebate form was no longer legible -it was ripped as well as the ink had seeped all over the page. The post office claims that it was lost in the mail and was recently found and sent back to me.

The second card was bought in January and I recently had that rebate returned to me as well again due to an invalid address. If the rebate still available on cards bought in January?

5 out of 5 eggsFast. fast fast

Pros: Install went completely smooth. Zero issues. This was a massive step up from the 8600GTS I was using before. So far, it handles everything I throw at it with ease.

The cooler doesn't make much noise that I can tell. The 8600GTS had a passive cooler and I was worried the GTX 670 would have a loud fan, but I don't hear it spinning even when playing games all day.

Seems to stay cool, temps are normal and don't jump too much under load. Ambient case temps are normal.

Cons: Expensive. Physically large. I have lots of room in my P183 case, but only because the middle drive bay is removed. I don't really see this being much of a problem unless you have a smaller case.

Other Thoughts: Really happy with the purchase. Don't really play too many games, but I've been doing a lot more gaming since I bought this card.

2 out of 5 eggsMissing Mail in Rebate

Pros: Card is working great! Very happy with how it is running

Cons: The $30 mail in rebate didn't come with the order as it was supposed to.

Other Thoughts: Would have been 5 stars except for the missing rebate.

Manufacturer Response:

5 out of 5 eggsGood Value

Pros: Works as advertised with W7 64bit
No Driver Problems
No significant fan noise
Both game coupons worked
No problems whatsoever

Cons: None so far.
Don't Like EVGA's "Advance" RMA Policy - but I don't plan on having problems with cards (even though it seems to happen more often than it should).

Other Thoughts: This is like the tale of two video cards. Last year I bought a GTX560 factory overclocked card from another manufacturer. It was RMA'ed once because it caused my rig to crash intermittently. I ended up underclocking the second one to get some stability in life.

I replaced the card with this GTX670 card and life has been smooth from the moment I plugged the card in and rebooted. I should have ditched the old card a year ago.

1 out of 5 eggsDefective

Pros: When it worked, it was fast

Cons: Locks up and runs very hot. Tried the card in another machine and the problems followed. This is my second EVGA card and the last one died an early death as well.

4 out of 5 eggsExcellent Card

Pros: Lots of power and speed. Running PrecisionX this card routinely runs above the standard and boost clock speeds. Framerate is awesome on most games, I get around 35-40 on BF3 running Ultra graphics. Nothing I haven't been able to play on it yet.

Cons: When the fan gets wound up its pretty loud. I had an issue with the driver crashing awhile back, but after the recent updates its been stable.

Other Thoughts: Keep in mind it uses 2x 6-pin power plugs. If you can't support that on your PSU I'd suggest going with a 660, but if you can this is definitely a good card if you don't want to pay for a 680.
