A killer gaming gear for hardcore users and enthusiasts, the EVGA 02G-P4-3660-KR GeForce GTX 660 Ti delivers competitive performance at a budget-friendly price. Built around 1344 CUDA Cores with 2GB/192-bit GDDR5 memory, this card brings your gaming to a new level of realism with exquisite details and smooth, fluid pictures. Experience faster, smoother, richer gaming with innovative NVIDIA technologies like TXAA antialiasing, Adaptive Vertical Sync, and PhysX. The GPU Boost automatically increase the clock frequency based on load level to pump more power out of your card for the highest framerate possible.

  • newegg Kepler GPU Architecture NVIDIA's Kepler GPU architecture has been designed from the ground up not just for maximum performance in the latest DirectX 11 games, but optimal performance per watt. The new SMX streaming multiprocessor is twice as efficient as the prior generation and the new geometry engine draws triangles twice as fast. The result is world class performance and the highest image quality in an elegant and power efficient graphics card.
  • newegg NVIDIA GPU Boost Up until now, GPUs have operated at a fixed clock speed when playing 3D games, even if they have the potential to run faster. GPU Boost intelligently monitors graphics work load and increases the clock speed whenever possible. The result is that the GPU always performs at its peak and you get the highest framerate possible.
  • newegg NVIDIA Adaptive Vertical Sync Nothing is more distracting than framerate stuttering and screen tearing. The first tends to occur when framerates are low, the second when framerates are high. Adaptive V-Sync is a smarter way to render frames. At high framerates, V-sync is enabled to eliminate tearing, at low frame rates, it's disabled to minimize stuttering. It gets rid of distractions so you can get on with gaming.
  • newegg NVIDIA Surround with Up To Four Monitors Nothing is as breathtaking as playing your favorite games across three monitors. At 5760 x 1080, the expanded field of view fully engages human peripheral vision and provides for the most immersive experience in racing and flight simulators. Add in a fourth display to keep tabs on chat, email or web while you are gaming.
  • newegg TXAA AntiAliasing Antialiasing helps to smooth out jagged lines in games. Existing techniques like MSAA are effective at removing jagged lines in still images but struggle with crawling and shimmering artifacts when the player is in motion. TXAA is a new antialiasing mode that combines MSAA, temporal filtering, and post processing for the highest edge quality and minimal shimmering during gameplay.
  • newegg NVIDIA 3D Vision Ready NVIDIA 3D Vision brings a fully immersive, stereoscopic 3D experience to the PC. A combination of high-tech wireless glasses and advanced software, 3D Vision transforms hundreds of PC games into full stereoscopic 3D. Get up to 2x monitor and keyboard brightness with NVIDIA 3D LightBoost technology. In addition, you can enjoy 3D movies and 3D digital photographs from 3DVisionLive.com in eye popping, crystal-clear quality.

5 out of 5 eggsThis thing is a tank!

Pros: The GTX660Ti 2GB is an absolute powerhouse graphics card for the price! Whatever game you want to play, this will do it on ultra settings 1080P without a problem. Games like BF3, Skyrim, Borderlands 2, ARMA2, F1 2012, Euro Truck Simulator 2 (don't laugh at me), and even Metro LL (which is free with purchase of this card right now) all look fabulous and give smooth gameplay.

And then I bought another one...
Now I am running a triple-monitor setup (3x 1280x1024; 3840x1024) with smooth frame rates and Ultra or High settings with those games. I could not have a bigger smile on my face! These 2 cards in SLi mode absolutely dominate everything I could throw at them. They outperform the most expensive gamer cards on the market by far, all while paying half the price of a top tier GPU.

The first card has a natural boost clock of 1084MHz, while the 2nd card settles in around 1097MHz. I've seen them peak above 1100MHz on several occasions. Bumping up the power settings lets these cards crack 1200MHz without any instability symptoms.

I use a linear fan curve at 1:1 ratio from 30% to 80% with 5 degrees of hysteresis using EVGA Precision X 4.1.0, but I've never seen the temps peak higher than 76-78C even on factory fan settings. While writing this review I've been running Furmark 1.10.6 for roughly 20 minutes and my temps are 73C and 68C.

Power consumption is less than the GTX460 Sli setup I used to run l last year... a lot less. My whole rig draws less than 500W fully loaded (according to my UPS readout). The GTX460's used to push me over 600 easy.

Cons: The first card I purchased began showing signs of defect within a a few days of use. Aritifacts were appearing during 3D applications, and eventually even during 2D (desktop) programs as well. Then the video driver began crashing left and right. Unfortunately, this card had to be RMA'd... see other thoughts below.

Other Thoughts: For the card that pooped out on me, I almost started to go through RMA with Newegg, but I've heard such good things with EVGA's RMA process that I decided to contact them instead. After talking with a technician for a few minutes about the symptoms of the card, he emailed me all the information I needed, and opened the RMA ticket via email for me. I packaged up the graphics card (just the card, nothing else had to be sent back) and sent it off. I did have to pay for shipping to EVGA, which ran about $15 to get from east coast to west coast, but EVGA covered their end of the shipping back to me. They sent me a BRAND NEW replacement card in original factory packaging with all the included goodies. This one was on my doorstep within a week of them receiving my defective card. I can't imagine an RMA process going smoother than that! They even preregistered the new card with my EVGA account for me. There was nothing I needed to do but install the card and carry on my gaming!! *two thumbs up*

Core components of my rig that would effect performance in games:
i5 2500K @ 4.4GHz
8GB 1333MHz memory, 8-8-8-21 latency
ASRock Z68 E3-G3
Thermaltake 850W bronze PSU

5 out of 5 eggs<3

Pros: Night and day difference compared to the 9800 GTX+ I was using on my old build. That card was severely struggling with some of the newer games/CAD programs.

Runs every game I play on their highest settings and the card doesn't get too hot.

Cons: NONE

5 out of 5 eggsAwesome

Pros: Runs everything I've thrown at it on highest settings @ 1080p via HDMI. Runs cool in my Cooler Master HAF XM case while playing demanding games such as Metro: Last Light on ultra. Easy to install, recognized immediately by my system on first boot.

Cons: None that I can see.

Other Thoughts: I am very impressed with this card so far. I knew buying it that it's not the "top of the line" NVIDIA card currently, but I haven't found anything this thing can't run. Even Metro: Last Light runs on 1080p with PhysX enabled and Ultra settings.

My system:
Cooler Master HAF XM Case
Intel Core i5-3570K Ivy Bridge 3.4GHz
16 GB RAM

3 out of 5 eggsDecent

Pros: Performs on Skyrim and COD Black ops 1 & 2 very well on Max settings.

Cons: For some odd reason with other games this card will flicker, freeze, go down to 5fps or just crash. I'm not sure if I have a defective card or I'm doing something wrong. I've looked into this problem and tried about everything suggested by numerous forums websites.

Other Thoughts: This card seems pretty decent. Just hope I can get this issue resolved soon.

Manufacturer Response:

Hello,

2 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Good card.

Cons: Had to return the card for replacement b/c of defective HDMI port. Didn't get my rebate. Purchased the card in February, and send them all my documentation. They emailed me informing me that the rebate application was approved in February, and I still have not received my rebate. Emailed them again back in April, and now they say they recently approved in April.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Card

Pros: This card has great performance for the price. I can play Planetside 2 and Neverwinter at max settings at 60 plus frames. Also, I enjoy playing games with Physx. It was a main reason why I switch from AMD. This was a test card for me. I plan to put a 680 in my system 3 to 6 months from now. Great card for gamers who want some great graphics without dropping $400.

Cons: The price is higher than my previous 7870. It ran very hot (75c), during game play, when I first installed it. After I shutdown my pc it ran just fine (in the 50s).

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Bang for your Buck!

Pros: Great performance! I highly recommend using it for a budget SLI build. Just remember to keep the card clean and to keep it secured properly.

Cons: I have had no issues so far.

Other Thoughts: I would like to see a better stock cooler on it. I have never been a fan (No pun intended) of the EVGA cooler design.

2 out of 5 eggsThink I got a refurbished item

Pros: Awesome Packaging. Can run all the newest games at maxed settings.. Seems to have no problem. When I was doing a bench mark test it did go up to 80 degrees which isnt normal from my experience.

Cons: I seem to be having problems watching movies in dual display mode. I get a lot of lag and un synced sound when I watch anything at 720p or higher. Also, cant watch my videos recorded with my gopro hero3 in 1080p 60fps, it isnt smooth at all. I know most of you will say its the codecs in my player, but I when I switch my computer back to on board video that came with my i7 ivy bridge, all the delay and lag goes away. I dont know if I got a bad card or refurbished item..

Other Thoughts: What do I do?

Manufacturer Response:

Hello,

The temperature is within tolerances, however the behavior is odd. Please contact us at 888-881-3842 so we can see if we cant troubleshoot this issue for you.

Thank you,
Brandon B
