Introducing the weapon of choice for gamers - the EVGA GeForce GTX 660 Ti. It adds a new dimension to the NVIDIA Kepler-powered family of graphics cards by delivering the ideal fusion of power, performance, and affordability. Experience faster, smoother, richer gaming with innovative NVIDIA technologies like TXAA antialiasing, Adaptive Vertical Sync, and PhysX.

The EVGA SuperClocked GTX 660 Ti with 980MHz Core Clock and 1059MHz Boost Clock, which are a little higher than reference version specifications of 915MHz Base Clock and 980MHz Boost Clock, delivers a decent performance boost without costing too much. The EVGA Precision X-, designed from the ground up to support new GPU, redefines what overclocking software should be with easy and precise tuning for GPU Clock speed, GPU Voltage, Memory Clock speed and Fan speed. The popular application EVGA OC Scanner X- with a brand new look and layout has been adapted to show all of the lastest GeForce vitals.

  • newegg Kepler GPU Architecture NVIDIA's Kepler GPU architecture has been designed from the ground up not just for maximum performance in the latest DirectX 11 games, but optimal performance per watt. The new SMX streaming multiprocessor is twice as efficient as the prior generation and the new geometry engine draws triangles twice as fast. The result is world class performance and the highest image quality in an elegant and power efficient graphics card.
  • newegg NVIDIA GPU Boost Up until now, GPUs have operated at a fixed clock speed when playing 3D games, even if they have the potential to run faster. GPU Boost intelligently monitors graphics work load and increases the clock speed whenever possible. The result is that the GPU always performs at its peak and you get the highest framerate possible.
  • newegg NVIDIA Adaptive Vertical Sync Nothing is more distracting than framerate stuttering and screen tearing. The first tends to occur when framerates are low, the second when framerates are high. Adaptive V-Sync is a smarter way to render frames. At high framerates, V-sync is enabled to eliminate tearing, at low frame rates, it's disabled to minimize stuttering. It gets rid of distractions so you can get on with gaming.
  • newegg NVIDIA Surround with Up To Four Monitors Nothing is as breathtaking as playing your favorite games across three monitors. At 5760 x 1080, the expanded field of view fully engages human peripheral vision and provides for the most immersive experience in racing and flight simulators. Add in a fourth display to keep tabs on chat, email or web while you are gaming.
  • newegg TXAA AntiAliasing Antialiasing helps to smooth out jagged lines in games. Existing techniques like MSAA are effective at removing jagged lines in still images but struggle with crawling and shimmering artifacts when the player is in motion. TXAA is a new antialiasing mode that combines MSAA, temporal filtering, and post processing for the highest edge quality and minimal shimmering during gameplay.
  • newegg NVIDIA 3D Vision Ready NVIDIA 3D Vision brings a fully immersive, stereoscopic 3D experience to the PC. A combination of high-tech wireless glasses and advanced software, 3D Vision transforms hundreds of PC games into full stereoscopic 3D. Get up to 2x monitor and keyboard brightness with NVIDIA 3D LightBoost technology. In addition, you can enjoy 3D movies and 3D digital photographs from 3DVisionLive.com in eye popping, crystal-clear quality.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Great card now that I got a working one. Running all of my games on max settings with no lag.

Cons: Only con so far was the first one was a no go. It happens with computer parts at times. RMA'd it and got the new one with no issues.

Other Thoughts: For the price it's hard to beat when looking at cost vs value.

1 out of 5 eggsHorrible Quality Control, AVOID!

Pros: -If the card runs, it runs okay.

Cons: -The card failed in less than a year. After coughing up money for cross-ship, they send a replacement who's fan never spins. Their immediate response is to demand to know when the first failed card is going to be shipped.

Other Thoughts: -The service is ugly and it would seem they don't care if anything works once they have your money. EVGA used to be synonymous with quality, but after 3 failed cards in the span of two years (having owned only two,) it would seem they simply could not care less.

Manufacturer Response:

Hello,

I can assure you that EVGA strives to have the best customer service and RMA experience in the industry. I would like to get more information on this matter, if you could please contact me directly at bbrunson@evga.com so we can get this worked out.

Thank you,
Brandon B

5 out of 5 eggsGreat card for the money

Pros: Great card, runs quietly, runs cool, and blasts through any of the games I have thrown at it.

Cons: None so far

Other Thoughts: This card could have been short if it weren't for the cooler extending about 3" past the end of the board. (Along with most other PNY / EVGA /etc cards that you normally see with the "Reference" style cooler)

I wish it were a little shorter, but I have a case that is plenty large enough, so that is not a problem.

3 out of 5 eggsImpressive... but loud

Pros: + Runs high end games extremely well
+ Sleek looking for those of us with side panels
+ No driver problems

Cons: - Loud (easily audible when fan is at max (which seems to be 80%))
- Inefficient ventilation for my system (not open-air design, tries to vent heat out the back) ... and so ...
- ...Runs hot when at full load

Other Thoughts: I would have gotten the ASUS GTX 660 Ti version for the ventilation.
I am going to SLI it with an Asus 660 Ti soon and we'll see how it runs

5 out of 5 eggsGreat card

Pros: So far handles everything I throw at it with ease.
WoT on maximum doing 60-61fps (never went below); Hawken on ultra-high settings is flying too.
Also, handles large PSD (Photoshop) files at lightning speed. Card is runs so quietly, so at first I thought it was broken. Overall it’s great card for the money. So five eggs, no doubt about it.

Cons: It’s a large card, so make sure you have room in your case.

Other Thoughts: My Specs:
Core i7-3820 Sandy Bridge - LGA 2011
ASUS P9X79 PRO
CORSAIR Vengeance 32GB (8 x 4GB)
GeForce GTX 660 Ti 2GB
SAMSUNG 840 Pro Series SSD

5 out of 5 eggsTop of the line quality

Pros: 1.Factory OC'd

2.Comes with GPU fan control program

3. Runs all the latest games smooth at Ultra-Extreme settings @ 1080p, and thats with a qx6700 core 2 duo, and 8gb ddr2 667 ram(Not top of the line hardware by far...like 2006 far) just to give you some perspective

4. All you need is one, wont need to SLI for at least a couple years

5. 450w required PSU, really low for such a powerhouse card.

Cons: Fans a LITTLE loud, i didnt find it a bother so i wont take off an egg, plus the fan control app can adjust the speed to a lower rpm and sac a little temp for a silent card.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat GPU for the price

Pros: This card runs amazing. It runs so well I bought 2 more. So currently I'm running 3 way SLI and I've been throwing everything I have it and it handles it like a champ. I'm running bioshock infinite at max settings and I'm getting a constant 120 FPS at only 54% per GPU. At that's it being capped at 120 FPS. So SLI defiant great feat. Constant 60 FPS with one GPU for sim city. Handles crysis 3 great and Starcraft two. Tomb raider had a few problems in the beginning but nvidia fixed it quickly. Great driver support. Another plus. It overclocks well with precision X.

Cons: Only problem I have every now and then and it could be my system. If it gets a scene that has alot happening. It will down clock it self rather than put more out.

Other Thoughts: Great card!

2 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Good performance

Cons: Unacceptable fan noise

Other Thoughts: I have RMA'd this card twice due to fan noise. While the one I have was the best of the 3, it is still noisy. I used an EVGA GTX680 card in a friends build and that was whisper quiet. I am fine with receiving lower performance for a reduced price with the 660 Ti. I don't think I should have to pay $500+ to get a quiet fan though.

The 660 Ti core has good performance for the price, but I'd go with a different manufacturer if you want a quiet card

5 out of 5 eggsBang for buck is great on this one

Pros: Upgraded to this from a EVGA 560 Ti SC 1GB and am not disappointed at all. It was worth the upgrade.

I needed the extra Vram to be able to put BF3 on Ultra, as well as run high definition packs in Skyrim. BF3 likes to hang around 50fps on Ultra with full AA/AF, and modded up Skyrim maxxed out around 70fps (previously unplayable due to the Vram on the 560). It's also MUCH quieter than the 560 Ti SC was.

Cons: No updated bios to unlock the ability to prevent downclocking and force 100% fan speed. The fan speed is limited to 80% and as a result, any OC'ing results in temps going above 70*C under full load. Which brings me to the next con, the 6-series cards downclock when they hit 70*C. Not sure if turning the fans to 100% would prevent that from happening or not, but a new bios, as other manufacturers of this card have, is something left desired. All that said, even with the downclock I don't see a visual decrease in performance from either game.

Other Thoughts: I might have purchased the 3gb version for future-proofing if it was available to me at the time, but 2gb is enough for any games that are out now.

Chose this over the GTX 670 since the only reason to go 670 would be the 4gb model, which isn't worth the price difference for the amount of increase in performance.

5 out of 5 eggssolid performance

Pros: if you're looking for a card that's great without spending too much, this is the one to get. runs any game maxed pretty much, BF3: 60-80fps. black ops 2: 100-150fps. it doesn't suck down a lot of power at all and it does get warm but not that much, only under a load do i notice it heat up. it is quiet, quieter than my old xfx 6850. but yea it will run anything you throw at it without a hitch. i wouldn't consider it an overkill card, but the smooth playability of games at maxed settings is wonderful with this thing.

i also love the reference design which is why i went with the evga version.

Cons: After Effects doesn't support it for open GL rendering that im aware of, but maybe an update from both parties will fix it in the future, not an issue though.

Other Thoughts: i love it, sli will definitely be an option in the future.
