Introducing the weapon of choice for gamers - the EVGA GeForce GTX 660 Ti. It adds a new dimension to the NVIDIA Kepler-powered family of graphics cards by delivering the ideal fusion of power, performance, and affordability. Experience faster, smoother, richer gaming with innovative NVIDIA technologies like TXAA antialiasing, Adaptive Vertical Sync, and PhysX.

The EVGA SuperClocked GTX 660 Ti with 980MHz Core Clock and 1059MHz Boost Clock, which are a little higher than reference version specifications of 915MHz Base Clock and 980MHz Boost Clock, delivers a decent performance boost without costing too much. The EVGA Precision X-, designed from the ground up to support new GPU, redefines what overclocking software should be with easy and precise tuning for GPU Clock speed, GPU Voltage, Memory Clock speed and Fan speed. The popular application EVGA OC Scanner X- with a brand new look and layout has been adapted to show all of the lastest GeForce vitals.

  • newegg Kepler GPU Architecture NVIDIA's Kepler GPU architecture has been designed from the ground up not just for maximum performance in the latest DirectX 11 games, but optimal performance per watt. The new SMX streaming multiprocessor is twice as efficient as the prior generation and the new geometry engine draws triangles twice as fast. The result is world class performance and the highest image quality in an elegant and power efficient graphics card.
  • newegg NVIDIA GPU Boost Up until now, GPUs have operated at a fixed clock speed when playing 3D games, even if they have the potential to run faster. GPU Boost intelligently monitors graphics work load and increases the clock speed whenever possible. The result is that the GPU always performs at its peak and you get the highest framerate possible.
  • newegg NVIDIA Adaptive Vertical Sync Nothing is more distracting than framerate stuttering and screen tearing. The first tends to occur when framerates are low, the second when framerates are high. Adaptive V-Sync is a smarter way to render frames. At high framerates, V-sync is enabled to eliminate tearing, at low frame rates, it's disabled to minimize stuttering. It gets rid of distractions so you can get on with gaming.
  • newegg NVIDIA Surround with Up To Four Monitors Nothing is as breathtaking as playing your favorite games across three monitors. At 5760 x 1080, the expanded field of view fully engages human peripheral vision and provides for the most immersive experience in racing and flight simulators. Add in a fourth display to keep tabs on chat, email or web while you are gaming.
  • newegg TXAA AntiAliasing Antialiasing helps to smooth out jagged lines in games. Existing techniques like MSAA are effective at removing jagged lines in still images but struggle with crawling and shimmering artifacts when the player is in motion. TXAA is a new antialiasing mode that combines MSAA, temporal filtering, and post processing for the highest edge quality and minimal shimmering during gameplay.
  • newegg NVIDIA 3D Vision Ready NVIDIA 3D Vision brings a fully immersive, stereoscopic 3D experience to the PC. A combination of high-tech wireless glasses and advanced software, 3D Vision transforms hundreds of PC games into full stereoscopic 3D. Get up to 2x monitor and keyboard brightness with NVIDIA 3D LightBoost technology. In addition, you can enjoy 3D movies and 3D digital photographs from in eye popping, crystal-clear quality.

1 out of 5 eggs660ti

Pros: worked good for just under 2 years

Cons: 309.99$ paper weight

Other Thoughts: Not sure what to say, I don't do heavy gaming, just light games every now and then, installed skyrim tried to play on low settings and apparently that was too much for the card to handle. Not impressed with the product.

Manufacturer Response:

Dear jonathan r.,

I am sorry to hear that you are having a problem after 2 years of use. Please understand that your product does have a 3 year warranty available to it and we would recommend contacting our 24 hour technical support at 1-888-881-3842 option 1 or by email at as we are here to support you.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Buy

Pros: - Great performance for an affordable card
- Plays all games at the highest settings at good framerates
- Pretty quite at stock fan speeds
- My running temps where 65C or below

Cons: Non Particularly.

Wish I had waited a little longer, cause the 700 series came out a few months after I bought these cards. Upgrading to two 780's now.

5 out of 5 eggsAwesome Graphics Card

Pros: This card is amazing. It runs BF4 on almost on Ultra settings, just one setting is on High. Basically any game you can throw at it will run well. It is a big card so make sure you have room for it.

Cons: None (big but seriously are you gonna complain about that

4 out of 5 eggsNice card

Pros: Plays most older games at full. OC's very well on the mem. side. Bought this card thinking of getting a second one then they ran out. Would have ben really nice to SLI them. Has 2GB of ram. Runs very cool at stock settings and the fan is very quite.

Cons: Only 192bit

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: I have had this card for a year, and it still runs every game I throw at it on max settings and with the utmost level of glory.

Cons: I think the stock fan could be a bit more effective, but it's never caused anything bad to happen. I will likely be investing in another fan soon to ease my paranoia.

Other Thoughts: When I bought this, it was being sold with a Borderlands 2 coupon. I was going to buy both this GPU and the game even if there had been no promotion, so it was like getting paid $60.

5 out of 5 eggsVery solid

Pros: Running 2 of these in SLI and I'm very happy with their performance. Solid 70-80 FPS in FarCry 3 (Ultra) and 100-160 FPS in Battlefield 3.

Cons: Runs a little hot with stock fan speeds; 75-77 C under max load/benchmark. Definitely not a reason to take off eggs but I certainly rather they run cooler.

Other Thoughts: Sliding the fan speed curve up a few notches in MSI Afterburner keeps them below 70 C under heavy load, at the expense of some extra noise from the whiny blower fans. I use noise-canceling over-ear headphones so it's not a problem at all.

If you're looking to plug a video card in and forget about it, this is a great choice. A single card performs very well and at current prices they are a tremendous value.

I would not use this, or any reference layout card for heavy GPU overclocking experimentation. The fans and overall layout just don't support maximum cooling efficiency.

4 out of 5 eggsExcellent card

Pros: It can handle almost anything you can throw at it. Be it games, heavy textures on AutoCAD, whatever... the card will make it happen on your screen.

Cons: Card can get hot if used for long periods on heavy graphics causing a BSOD. Stock fan does not seem powerful enough to handle the heat produced by the card. If you have a full ATX case, make sure you have some fans working with the VC fan to enhance airflow. (note: some driver upgrades have made this issue a bit less common but it still happens once in a while). BSODs are not that frequent but can be very annoying in the middle of a game.

Other Thoughts: Overall, the card is really good. I'd give it 5 eggs if it wasn't for the heat issue that, although does not happen very often, it will make you mad that happens while you are gaming. I managed to reduce the amount of BSODs by having the case fans assist the VC fan. Nvidia driver updates seem to also help with this issue a bit.

4 out of 5 eggsGreat for the price

Pros: Great card, cost is definately worth the abilities of the card. Runs great, had it since christmas last year and no major problems.

Cons: Gets very hot, I have to run the fan pretty high. if it overheats you will get a bluescreen. It's also rather large.

Other Thoughts: If it overheats you will get a bluescreen. If this happens download the EVGA fan software from their website, it's free.
