4 out of 5 eggsFor the Price

Pros: No problems with it. Quiet. Runs SWTOR on medium high settings in most areas.

Cons: Cant handle 16man raids on medium settings, have to set everything to low. 8 mans ok. Im sure it can handle WoW in all phases though.

Other Thoughts: Its perfect for gaming if you like to just run around in 5man groups. I like this card, its perfect for me. Good hunting :)

4 out of 5 eggsSolid little card

Pros: Price to performance, two dual link dvi ports.

Cons: The fan is a bit noisy even when the temps are low. That's why I knocked off an egg.

Other Thoughts: I have these driving some QHD displays (2560x1600) and they're pretty smooth. Nothing to complain about. I'm a software developer, and for my needs they're great. I'm not gaming with then, but I imagine they could handle some light gaming.

3 out of 5 eggsGood card but compatibility issue *BSOD*

Pros: * Very little power consumption, while driving 2x monitors at 2560x1440 resolution it consumes approx 15W for most 2D applications. (I used a kill-a-watt for reading)
* High quality thermal paste, don't bother replacing with a premium Arctic Silver
* Runs cool, usually hoovers in the low 40s at max.
* Priced reasonable but realistically it's a 50mm not a 28mm chip like the new Kepler. The Kepler chips runs even cooler and puts out less heat.
* Big memory but the pipeline is bottleneck so they're clearly over killed it by providing a 2GB and I certainly like it.

Cons: * Wakes up to a blue screen of death. Win7 x64 complains one of the Nvidia driver has stopped responding.
* Can't lower the fan speed, I can hear this little guy spinning at the lowest Nvidia allowed setting (manual mode), I believe it's at 40%. There is a way to modify the bios to drop it even further but they don't make the software for this card.

Other Thoughts: If it wasn't for a BSOD issue, I'd keep it but nah. No thank you. Just be sure you're not using this card in an intel x38 but I suspect the same issue with x48 and x58 chipsets too.

Manufacturer Response:

Dear Ban T,
Blue screens can be caused by a few different things when waking a computer from sleep. Depending on drivers or hardware, we would like to help with narrowing down and resolving the issue on your system. Please contact our 24 hour technical support team at 1-888-881-3842 option 1, or by email at newegg@evga.com.

Sincerely,
EVGA Customer Support

5 out of 5 eggsEvga GT 630

Pros: Works Fine for what i intended fits cases with limited room, (in my case a pair of optiplex 745s) works with Boinc in linux as a compute card.

Cons: None so far.

Other Thoughts: Not running windows with these cards so i wouldnt expect gaming to be anywhere near the higher end boards or even the older high end cards, other than that i have had no issues running wheezy 7.0 on them.

4 out of 5 eggsGreat Except for the Fan

Pros: -Handles two monitors without a hitch.
-Relatively quiet.
-Newest drivers installed without any issues.
-Takes up only one slot in your case.
-If you're looking for performance, it scores between a 6.7-6.8 in WIndows 7 for both graphics "benchmarks" depending on your setup.

Cons: The fan started making noises after about 4 months of use. I air-dusted it out and the noise persisted and now a second video card (same model) is starting to have the same issue. Knocked off an egg for an otherwise great video card.

Other Thoughts: I have used 4 of these in different systems. All are used in conjunction with the on-chip Intel HD4600 graphics for a 3-monitor setup. It's not the ideal setup but it works when you are on a budget and you only work with documents and spreadsheets all day. Drivers were not an issue and I didn't bother with the drivers from the disc, as the newest NVIDIA drivers will be your best bet.
I think the fan noise we are experiencing on 2 of the same cards is due to a design flaw of the fan as we are not in a dusty environment and it is not under any stress (they're not used for gaming).

1 out of 5 eggsPIECE OF GARBAGE!!!!!!

Pros: NOTHING!!!!!!!

Cons: CRASHES CONSTANTLY, NEVER SAW A REVIEW ANSWERED BY MANUFACTURER, SO i DARE THEM TO ANSWER THIS!!!!!!! THIS IS JUNK!!!!!!!

Other Thoughts: DON'T EVEN WANT TO TRY OVERCLOCKING IF THING STALLS OUT ON DEFAULT. MOVIES FREEZE. GAMES DIE. WORKS WITH CAD/CAM SOFTWARE, BUT BLU-RAY READY??? CAN'T EVEN RUN A LOW QUALITY U-TUBE VIDEO ON THIS THING.

2 out of 5 eggsLess than 1 FPS & Crashes 3/day

Pros: Cheap, Lots of memory, easy install

Cons: Cheaply made, less than 1 FPS on most of my games, skips frames/stalls when playing dvd's, drivers crash 3/day, and ya get what you pay for.

Other Thoughts: Running on default settings not even trying to overclock, and overclock program doesn't allow underclocking I need to run this card with my stuff. Was expecting a $300 card for $65 and that was stupid of me, card works fine for word processing and surfing web, but I wouldn't even watch a movie with it due to number of skipped frames and stalls.
