5 out of 5 eggslittle bonus to my Dell Quad Core

Pros: bundled these with the purchase of the Dell Optiplex 3010 from newegg (N82E16883155690)

Dual DVI and 2gb of ram ensure quality use of 2 high resolution monitors viewing large autocad documents

Requires no additional power support to function and keeps my Dell Optiplex working within its boundaries.

and its from EVGA, one of the best partners for Nvidia.

Cons: none that i could think of. It doesn't come with VGA adapters but the card is very inexpensive, so i assume it helps keep the cost down. If your looking to use this on VGA, make sure you have VGA to DVI adapters prior.

Other Thoughts: I HATE using my CPU as my GPU. i would rather spend $100 on a dedicated video card then buy a CPU $100 more expensive. Even if your not a gamer, which i am not, having a dedicated card will help with multitasking and even view HD videos. Allows your onboard ram to be used fully by the system and not being eaten up for graphics processing.

as always, feel free to gmail my nickname with questions or comments.

5 out of 5 eggsWorks As It Should

Pros: Worked immediately upon installation under Windoze 7

Cons: Required a reload of Ubuntu (dual boot 12.04 LTS) to work properly with that OS, but then works great.

Other Thoughts: This was recommended by a friend as an upgrade from the ASUS MB based video. I am not a gamer (OK... occasionally Solitaire ;) ) but will use this PC for a (soon to arrive) FlexRadio transceiver. Just ordered a better monitor (LG 23EN43T) to go with it; this should work really well with the software that runs the radio (up to eight receivers).

5 out of 5 eggsGood Card

Pros: Does its job with no drawbacks or technical difficulties

Cons: Isn't very powerfuk

Other Thoughts: Definitely does what it's supposed to and serves as a good low level upgrade to your average motherboard/CPU integrated video device. If you want to play more major or modern games, you need a better card. However it fits you if you just want to play low level games

3 out of 5 eggsGood for no graphics heavy desktop application

Pros: Cheap, low profile, not power hungry Enough to power a modern day monitor.

Cons: Cannot render any games in AA mode, display lags when streaming HD, bad for high graphics applications within OS (absolute no-no for gmaes)

Other Thoughts: If you plan to play games with decent graphics (8x MSAA, FXAA, 1440 * 900 etc) I suggest not going for this card but for Radeon 7770, its comparable to GTX550 Ti, much low power, better than GTX 650 in consistent performance and is cheaper.
