The wait is over. EVGA presents us a powerful yet highly affordable graphics card - 02G-P4-2662-KR with the new mid-range GTX 660 GPU. GeForce GTX 660 GPU inherits the class-leading performance and power efficiency of Kepler GPU architecture without breaking your bank. Factory overclocked at 1046MHz which is 66 MHz more than the reference card, the EVGA 02G-P4-2662-KR offers more astonishing graphics performance. To make the big bigger, GPU boost offers a higher GPU clock whenever it is possible.

  • newegg Kepler GPU Architecture NVIDIA's Kepler GPU architecture has been designed from the ground up not just for maximum performance in the latest DirectX 11 games, but optimal performance per watt. The new SMX streaming multiprocessor is twice as efficient as the prior generation and the new geometry engine draws triangles twice as fast. The result is world class performance and the highest image quality in an elegant and power efficient graphics card.
  • newegg NVIDIA GPU Boost Up until now, GPUs have operated at a fixed clock speed when playing 3D games, even if they have the potential to run faster. GPU Boost intelligently monitors graphics work load and increases the clock speed whenever possible. The result is that the GPU always performs at its peak and you get the highest framerate possible.
  • newegg NVIDIA Adaptive Vertical Sync Nothing is more distracting than framerate stuttering and screen tearing. The first tends to occur when framerates are low, the second when framerates are high. Adaptive V-Sync is a smarter way to render frames. At high framerates, V-sync is enabled to eliminate tearing, at low frame rates, it's disabled to minimize stuttering. It gets rid of distractions so you can get on with gaming.
  • newegg NVIDIA Surround with Up To Four Monitors Nothing is as breathtaking as playing your favorite games across three monitors. At 5760 x 1080, the expanded field of view fully engages human peripheral vision and provides for the most immersive experience in racing and flight simulators. Add in a fourth display to keep tabs on chat, email or web while you are gaming.
  • newegg Two New Anti-aliasing Modes: FXAA and TXAA Anti-aliasing smoothes out jagged edges but can be demanding on framerates. FXAA is a new antialiasing technology that produces beautiful smooth lines with minimal performance impact. And with Kepler based GPUs, you'll be able to enable FXAA in hundreds of game titles through the NVIDIA Control Panel. The second mode, TXAA, is an in-game option that combines MSAA, temporal filtering, and post processing for even higher visual fidelity.
  • newegg NVIDIA 3D Vision Ready NVIDIA 3D Vision brings a fully immersive, stereoscopic 3D experience to the PC. A combination of high-tech wireless glasses and advanced software, 3D Vision transforms hundreds of PC games into full stereoscopic 3D. Get up to 2x monitor and keyboard brightness with NVIDIA 3D LightBoost technology. In addition, you can enjoy 3D movies and 3D digital photographs from 3DVisionLive.com in eye popping, crystal-clear quality.

5 out of 5 eggsWorth Every Penny

Pros: This thing runs my games like a champ. Iracing, max res with 43 cars on track at 60fps (single screen, i don't have three), Mechwarrior online, max res and settings at 55FPS (if the programing of the game was better it wouldn't go below 60). I have had no falter graphically with this peace of hardware.

Cons: It can get loud with quiet mode turned off. I don't care for how loud it gets cause I wear a headset so running the fan near 60+ percent means nothing to me.

5 out of 5 eggsImpressive card

Pros: -Handles every game thrown at it well; not the highest setting for the latest releases, but still good.

-Under stock setting, the unit has yet to get near the upper heating limits, even when at the stock clock limit.

Cons: -None.

5 out of 5 eggsWorks Well

Pros: The card has worked well for me, have had it for year. Runs quiet, was easy to setup right out the box, simple drivers, no hassle. I don't play a lot of modern games, mostly old ones, looking to change that.

Cons: None so far

Other Thoughts: Good fans and great airflow..

5 out of 5 eggspowerful card

Pros: Handles everything. I can run BF4 on ultra, and it looks fantastic. If you're looking for next Gen graphics at a reasonable price point, don't overlook this card. It also is compatible in both Windows and Mac machines.

Cons: None so far.

5 out of 5 eggsAwesome card

Pros: This card has been able to run everything I've thrown at it. Currently running Syrim at full graphics with the highest available texture packs.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: You can go bigger, but for the price this is the best deal around.

5 out of 5 eggsWorks as expected!

Pros: Plays most games in high to ultra settings, reference cooler (blows hot air out of the back of the chassis), sleek and sexy EVGA simple look, comes with a free aluminum case badge!

Cons: Isn't a brand new GTX 980 or 970, and sitting at this price point still makes me wonder why these aren't discounted even more?

Other Thoughts: I bought this knowing that it was an entry level high end graphics card. The expectation was after much research and comparison. It has served me well for over 18 months now. Highly recommend EVGA PrecisionX software if you want to tweak things like fan curves and I believe it has some overclocking capability built into the software (never found a reason to overclock this card, it comes from the factory overclocked) but it's nice to adjust the fan curves. Also what really sold me on this card is the reference cooler with the blower style over the heatsink pulling air from the inside and pushing it out the back. I dislike the style of just slapping some fans on it. Overall a good buy I just wonder why these are still selling for that much, probably because it is a decent card!

1 out of 5 eggsWorked, failed, then horrible support

Pros: Card worked great in SLI setup for under 1 year

Cons: Card then failed, and the EVGA support went out of their way to not replace it. They ultimately refused to take the payment which was required for the replacement, blaming the bank when the bank was on the phone with EVGA verifying that it was indeed approved.

Other Thoughts: End of the day, the Gigabyte card I also had in the SLI setup has worked just as well, cost slightly less at the time I bought it, and comes with support that will actually stand behind their product. Save the headache, skip EVGA products.

Manufacturer Response:

4 out of 5 eggsSoftware!

Pros: Installed hardware easily. It works as advertised so far,

Cons: Took 3 hours and calls to tech support to find a version of the device drivers that would work on my system.

Other Thoughts: The card is very boring visually but it was all that I could afford.

5 out of 5 eggsBrick House of a graphics card

Pros: Low power consumption. Enough memory for 1080p. Solid build as to be expected from EVGA. Comes oc'ed. Stays cool at least mine do. Push everything on High and ultra if you SLI them. Price to performance ration on these is instane. If you are on a budget get this this. Heck if youre not get two of these its all you need at this time. Plus only 9.5 inches fit in almost any case.

Cons: Two can get hot. If you SLI have enough airflow going! but single card no issue with heat.

Other Thoughts: Great intro, budget, consumer conscious card. Be realistic and buy this card lol
