The wait is over. EVGA presents us a powerful yet highly affordable graphics card - 02G-P4-2662-KR with the new mid-range GTX 660 GPU. GeForce GTX 660 GPU inherits the class-leading performance and power efficiency of Kepler GPU architecture without breaking your bank. Factory overclocked at 1046MHz which is 66 MHz more than the reference card, the EVGA 02G-P4-2662-KR offers more astonishing graphics performance. To make the big bigger, GPU boost offers a higher GPU clock whenever it is possible.

  • newegg Kepler GPU Architecture NVIDIA's Kepler GPU architecture has been designed from the ground up not just for maximum performance in the latest DirectX 11 games, but optimal performance per watt. The new SMX streaming multiprocessor is twice as efficient as the prior generation and the new geometry engine draws triangles twice as fast. The result is world class performance and the highest image quality in an elegant and power efficient graphics card.
  • newegg NVIDIA GPU Boost Up until now, GPUs have operated at a fixed clock speed when playing 3D games, even if they have the potential to run faster. GPU Boost intelligently monitors graphics work load and increases the clock speed whenever possible. The result is that the GPU always performs at its peak and you get the highest framerate possible.
  • newegg NVIDIA Adaptive Vertical Sync Nothing is more distracting than framerate stuttering and screen tearing. The first tends to occur when framerates are low, the second when framerates are high. Adaptive V-Sync is a smarter way to render frames. At high framerates, V-sync is enabled to eliminate tearing, at low frame rates, it's disabled to minimize stuttering. It gets rid of distractions so you can get on with gaming.
  • newegg NVIDIA Surround with Up To Four Monitors Nothing is as breathtaking as playing your favorite games across three monitors. At 5760 x 1080, the expanded field of view fully engages human peripheral vision and provides for the most immersive experience in racing and flight simulators. Add in a fourth display to keep tabs on chat, email or web while you are gaming.
  • newegg Two New Anti-aliasing Modes: FXAA and TXAA Anti-aliasing smoothes out jagged edges but can be demanding on framerates. FXAA is a new antialiasing technology that produces beautiful smooth lines with minimal performance impact. And with Kepler based GPUs, you'll be able to enable FXAA in hundreds of game titles through the NVIDIA Control Panel. The second mode, TXAA, is an in-game option that combines MSAA, temporal filtering, and post processing for even higher visual fidelity.
  • newegg NVIDIA 3D Vision Ready NVIDIA 3D Vision brings a fully immersive, stereoscopic 3D experience to the PC. A combination of high-tech wireless glasses and advanced software, 3D Vision transforms hundreds of PC games into full stereoscopic 3D. Get up to 2x monitor and keyboard brightness with NVIDIA 3D LightBoost technology. In addition, you can enjoy 3D movies and 3D digital photographs from 3DVisionLive.com in eye popping, crystal-clear quality.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat card

Pros: This was my first graphics card for my first build and I must say it was worth every pretty penny! This card has done amazing with the games I threw at it, I don't have any of the heavy load games but this card does the job without a hiccup! It stays at a chilly 35-40 C when idle and maxes at 75-80 C when playing any maxed games.

Cons: About a month in and I started getting coil whine in it, not serious but sounds like a very faint buzzing noise. Also I did my annual cleaning of my PC, and to anyone wanting to clean this card, it opens up by first separating the PCB from the heatsink (thus forcing you to replace the Thermal paste) and then you remove the casing from the heatsink, and reverse order to put it back together. I just wish I could take the shroud off first instead of taking it ALL apart.

Other Thoughts: Great card for a beggining gaming rig, I would wait for it to be on sale, nice clean look and design, Complicated to get the shroud off

5 out of 5 eggsGot this for SLI config.

Pros: Runs great, not loud like some would say, gets enough airflow in my case so never overheats, haven't had a problem with it since I installed it.

Cons: No cons.

Other Thoughts: I would recommend this for anyone if your on a tight budget, I got this card around 140$ when it was on sale and rebate card, was a steal I had to take it.

4 out of 5 eggsGreat but watch out for RMA

Pros: I haven't owned many other graphics cards out there on the market so this is a review from limited experience. Just keep that in mind.

I really like that even though my extremely slow computer can hardly play FTB minecraft, games like skyrim and world of tanks run on the highest quality. You can even stream with the built in nvidia service. Really cool. My 5 year old mac can compete with this thing on CPU intensive games because it only has an AMD x2 chip. I am waiting for my 4690k to arrive so we shall see what performance leaps this thing does.

Cons: -1 star for an RMA
I returned the thing because the fan was off to the side and was making a loud noise. Now it runs like a charm and has no problems.

Other Thoughts: You start to understand how important just a good graphics card is when that is worth more than the rest of your computer :). Played games for almost a year now with this setup and I was almost content to continue. You just need the power to run it though.

3 out of 5 eggsNot recommended for multiple monitor configurations

Pros: Decent graphics, reasonably quick rendering for games.

Cons: Runs hot, poor value today.

Other Thoughts: Card quickly burned out after I hooked up a second monitor. Compared to the GIGABYTE GV-N75TOC-2GI which I replaced it with, the Gigabyte card had equally fast rendering, better game textures, and supported two monitors without any significant increase in temperature. And the Gigabyte card costs less, too. This card is okay for a single monitor configuration if priced under $100.

5 out of 5 eggsThe All Around Reliable Graphics Card for the casual-non casual PC gamer.

Pros: I have had this card for over a year now and I am still impressed at what it could handle. This card can handle a range of medium to medium high resolution games such as Assasins Creed IV: Black Flag, Batman: Arkham Origins, and League of Legends with no problems. I can get a stable 60 frames per second out of this card on League of Legends which is totally fine for me. It also fulfills the recommended system requirements for playing DayZ standalone.

If you plan on getting this graphics card, please note that it does not perform as well when playing some of the next generation games such as Assassin's Creed: Unity and Farcry 4. I have Assasin's Creed Unity and I can only get a max of 35 fps at medium graphics settings. I am planning to upgrade to keep up with the new wave of video games that will be released in 2015.

All around great card for the casual pc gamer.

Cons: The card would sometimes fail when I used a VGA cable to connect it to my monitor. I would just reboot the system to fix it. When I switched the cable from VGA to HDMI it seemed to solve the problem. Barely a con. No huge upsets for the full year that it was in my possession.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat value

Pros: Runs quietly, very powerful. Handles vanilla Skyrim at 1080p with settings maxed (60+ fps), still gets 40+ with crazy ENB mods.

Amazingly, the price has dropped only $20 in the two years since I bought it.

Cons: None.

3 out of 5 eggsCrapped out after 1 year (Kind of..)

Pros: Worked fine for the first year.

Cons: Kinda loud. After about a year of use, would not run any FPS or high end 3D games. After playing something for about 3 - 4 minutes, the computer would freeze, graphics card fans would go full throttle, and eventually warranted a hard restart of the my rig. No longer purchasing from EVGA since this card is an example of shoddy quality.

Other Thoughts: I had an EVGA card before this one that lasted 3 years. Don't know what went wrong with this one. The problems occurred after the manufacture warranty expired so I was out of luck. I upgraded my power supply from 600 w to 850 w to see if that was the problem, but that didn't fix the issue. I also uninstalled the drivers and reinstalled them as well, no dice there. I am successfully able to watch movies and play lower stress games like League of Legends.

5 out of 5 eggsAwesome

Pros: Awesome great value performance per dollar card. Delivered fast.

Cons: No issues

Other Thoughts: Keep in mind about 1 of 10 happy people leave reviews, and about 9 of 10 upset people leave reviews. Factor that in, this is worth the buy.

5 out of 5 eggsEVGA SuperClocked 02G-P4-2662-KR G-SYNC Support GeForce GTX 660 2GB 192-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 x16 HDCP Ready SLI Support Video Card

Pros: This GTX660 Video card has done everything ive asked of it. I run Arma3 1080p @60fps avg, DayZ 1080p @60fps agv, and many more with no problems. Those games are among the highest power hungry games out right now and this card handles them like a dream.

Cons: n/a

Other Thoughts: I would highly recommend this GPU to anyone building a computer or upgrading a system, for the $ you cant go wrong.
