Bring HD-quality gaming to the entry level.

The EVGA 01G-P4-2650-KR packs an affordable entry-level GPU – GeForce GTX 650. Based on the fast and efficient NVIDIA Kepler architecture, GeForce GTX 650 provides the perfect entry point to DirextX 11 and 1080p HD gaming in your favorite FPS and MMO games.

  • newegg Kepler GPU Architecture NVIDIA's Kepler GPU architecture has been designed from the ground up not just for maximum performance in the latest DirectX 11 games, but optimal performance per watt. The new SMX streaming multiprocessor is twice as efficient as the prior generation and the new geometry engine draws triangles twice as fast. The result is world class performance and the highest image quality in an elegant and power efficient graphics card.
  • newegg NVIDIA Adaptive Vertical Sync Nothing is more distracting than framerate stuttering and screen tearing. The first tends to occur when framerates are low, the second when framerates are high. Adaptive V-Sync is a smarter way to render frames. At high framerates, V-sync is enabled to eliminate tearing, at low frame rates, it's disabled to minimize stuttering. It gets rid of distractions so you can get on with gaming.
  • newegg NVIDIA Surround with Up To Four Monitors Nothing is as breathtaking as playing your favorite games across three monitors. At 5760 x 1080, the expanded field of view fully engages human peripheral vision and provides for the most immersive experience in racing and flight simulators. Add in a fourth display to keep tabs on chat, email or web while you are gaming.
  • newegg TXAA Anti-aliasing Antialiasing helps to smooth out jagged lines in games. Existing techniques like MSAA are effective at removing jagged lines in still images but struggle with crawling and shimmering artifacts when the player is in motion. TXAA is a new antialiasing mode that combines MSAA, temporal filtering, and post processing for the highest edge quality and minimal shimmering during gameplay.
  • newegg NVIDIA 3D Vision Ready NVIDIA 3D Vision brings a fully immersive, stereoscopic 3D experience to the PC. A combination of high-tech wireless glasses and advanced software, 3D Vision transforms hundreds of PC games into full stereoscopic 3D. Get up to 2x monitor and keyboard brightness with NVIDIA 3D LightBoost technology. In addition, you can enjoy 3D movies and 3D digital photographs from in eye popping, crystal-clear quality.
  • newegg NVIDIA PhysX Technology Full support for NVIDIA PhysX technology enables a totally new class of physical gaming interaction for a more dynamic and realistic experience with GeForce.

4 out of 5 eggsWas a great buy, 4 years ago

Pros: At the time I purchased the gtx 650 it was a massive upgrade at the time.
+short card, can fit in most small form factor cases
+low power consumption

Cons: not much except that it hasn't really aged well. and only 1GB of video ram.

Other Thoughts: I bought this card in 2012, today on march 24, 2016 it has finally died.

3 out of 5 eggsEh.

Pros: - Great Price
- Small sizing

Cons: - Only 1GB
- Overheats often without the fan on 100%
- Can't handle DX11 games very well
- Card is VERY outdated and does not work with 3.0 x16 pci slots in the newer mobos (gigabyte 990fx series)

I've had this card for about a year and a half now and after the first 7 months the card started to degrade in performance, a lot.

5 out of 5 eggsAMAZING FOR MONEY

Pros: I bought this GPU because of its low cost and good performance, it went into my new gaming build and I couldn't be happier. I've been able to run any game I throw at it in max settings with usually over 40fps. BF3 for instance is able to run around 50fps on ultra, now for a GPU at this cost that's pretty amazing. The CPU I'm using is a AMD FX-6300. This card manages to stay pretty cool under load as well. It comes with useful software too and the drivers you need for installation. Overall a very good card and well worth the money.

Cons: The only con I have is that it doesn't offer a full size HDMI output only a mini, but that doesn't matter much to me because I prefer the use DVI anyway.

Other Thoughts: EVGA has always been good to me, they make high quality parts which are worth the money, I would recommend this GPU if your on a budget and looking for something that will run your software, games and whatever else you throw at it with decent performance.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat entry level gaming card

Pros: This card has had no problems since day one. It was an awesome bang fort buck and gave me great frame rates. I have recently upgraded to a 660 ti but this card was awesome and worked perfectly.

Cons: When I added my second monitor and it did take a pretty large performance hit, just something to take note of.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat for the price

Pros: I have had the card for a month now. I got it for 79.99 and my 20 dollar rebate just went though today so I should be getting the check in a month or two. For 60 bucks I cant find anything to complain about as far as performance. I also like the dual DVI outputs, most cards would have HDMI VGA and DVI or maybe a monitor output mixed in there somewhere. Its simpler to have more of the same kind of connection. Its a good looking card that fits quite well in my small case. I can tell holding the card in my hands the physical construction is superior to some of the cheaper brands out there.

Cons: Mini HDMI. I didnt even know these existed until I decided to get this card. Luckly I found a nice braided mini to full size 6' cord for 3 bucks so no worries there. I do feel like the Mini HDMI port could get broken a lot easier than a full size one though but how often do you move your desktop around. I also wish the fan on it was bigger so it could run lower RPMs and move the same amount of air for noise reasons but my tower sits about 12 feet from me so its not a big deal and I dont overclock.

Other Thoughts: I upgraded from a GT520 so this is a major improvement. I ended up selling the old 520 and got 20 bucks out of the deal after fees so the new card upgrade really only ended up costing me 40 bucks. I will be upgrading my whole system next year. I got a 600w power supply a few days ago and i just feel its time to get a new case, mobo, 16gb of really fast ram, SSD to run my OS, and a very large backup drive (4tb maybe), and lastly and most importantly I would like to get into at least the GTX 760 range cards. Im currently running a I7 2400 series on a lame acer mobo with 8 gigs 1333 ram. At least I have a hyper 212 keeping the gem of the system at room temp and a CX600 giving everything plenty of juice. Anyway bottom line is if you can get this card for 60 bucks and your only looking for mid range performance this is the way to go.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Minecraft: Max settings, 128x texture pack, 60 fps
CPU: AMD Phenom II x4 965 3.4ghz
RAM: 4gb

Graphics, fps, would for sure be better than a PS3 or Xbox 360

Temperature: 23 idle, 50 load
quiet: Fans barely running

awesome for the price, 48$ with MIR

Cons: None, it can't play the latest games at 60 fps but I did not expect it too. Still, the graphics and fps would probably beat a ps3 or xbox 360 graphics

5 out of 5 eggsWow, driving 2560x1440 IPS monitor!

Pros: Easy to install

Cons: none that I can identify!

Other Thoughts: I was somewhat nervous in upgrading my monitor and graphics card, as I purchased a very high res 27" IPS (2560x1440) DVI dual link monitor to replace a failing 1280x1024 LCD monitor driven via VGA on a 5 year old HP desktop PC using the built in VGA port.
I talked to tech support at HP, monitor vendor, and EVGA and all seemed to be in order, before I placed orders. The stuff arrived, I plugged it in, and it all worked right out of the boxes, with no need to buy anything else. I am a photographer and I am blown away at the details and sharpness of photographs with this combination. And with simple text displays I can look at smaller size text with far greater clarity that previously. I'm genuinely impressed.

5 out of 5 eggsEVGA Rox! Great MFR

Pros: Card works great. I've used it as a Gaming card in my Dad's PC for a year and now it's being used for PhysX in my Rig. It works wonderful and it isn't that noisy while gaming.

Cons: Wish the card didn't take up two slots but that's okay considering the architecture and price.

Other Thoughts: EVGA is a great company. They do right by the customer. At least in my experiences. Not only have they assisted me in solving some minor issues they've sent me numerous items as gifts even when it wasn't asked for. They stand by the product and care about customer service not just money.
