Bring HD-quality gaming to the entry level.

The EVGA 01G-P4-2652-KR packs an affordable entry-level GPU – GeForce GTX 650. Based on the fast and efficient NVIDIA Kepler architecture, GeForce GTX 650 provides the perfect entry point to DirextX 11 and 1080p HD gaming in your favorite FPS and MMO games. Factory overclocked at 1202MHz which is up to 144 MHz more than the reference card, the EVGA 01G-P4-2652-KR offers a step ahead for entry point HD gaming.

  • newegg Kepler GPU Architecture NVIDIA's Kepler GPU architecture has been designed from the ground up not just for maximum performance in the latest DirectX 11 games, but optimal performance per watt. The new SMX streaming multiprocessor is twice as efficient as the prior generation and the new geometry engine draws triangles twice as fast. The result is world class performance and the highest image quality in an elegant and power efficient graphics card.
  • newegg NVIDIA Adaptive Vertical Sync Nothing is more distracting than framerate stuttering and screen tearing. The first tends to occur when framerates are low, the second when framerates are high. Adaptive V-Sync is a smarter way to render frames. At high framerates, V-sync is enabled to eliminate tearing, at low frame rates, it's disabled to minimize stuttering. It gets rid of distractions so you can get on with gaming.
  • newegg NVIDIA Surround with Up To Four Monitors Nothing is as breathtaking as playing your favorite games across three monitors. At 5760 x 1080, the expanded field of view fully engages human peripheral vision and provides for the most immersive experience in racing and flight simulators. Add in a fourth display to keep tabs on chat, email or web while you are gaming.
  • newegg TXAA Anti-aliasing Antialiasing helps to smooth out jagged lines in games. Existing techniques like MSAA are effective at removing jagged lines in still images but struggle with crawling and shimmering artifacts when the player is in motion. TXAA is a new antialiasing mode that combines MSAA, temporal filtering, and post processing for the highest edge quality and minimal shimmering during gameplay.
  • newegg NVIDIA 3D Vision Ready NVIDIA 3D Vision brings a fully immersive, stereoscopic 3D experience to the PC. A combination of high-tech wireless glasses and advanced software, 3D Vision transforms hundreds of PC games into full stereoscopic 3D. Get up to 2x monitor and keyboard brightness with NVIDIA 3D LightBoost technology. In addition, you can enjoy 3D movies and 3D digital photographs from 3DVisionLive.com in eye popping, crystal-clear quality.
  • newegg NVIDIA PhysX Technology Full support for NVIDIA PhysX technology enables a totally new class of physical gaming interaction for a more dynamic and realistic experience with GeForce.

4 out of 5 eggsgreat card

Pros: about the best you can get for the price, its more or less an entry level/mid-range Gpu. with the low amperage and small size makes it much easier than larger more expensive cards. if you want to start getting into computer gaming this is the card for you. even though its "super-clocked" (and it is highly over-clocked) you ccan still over clock it some more!

Cons: the lack of ram and cuda cores means this card wont be furture proof. id probably give it a year, maybe 2 before its outdated.

Other Thoughts: games i played with relatively high settings-max settings:
borderlands
far cry 3
tomb raider 2013
fable 3
assasins creed 3
portal 2
mafia 2
and Elder scrolls V Skyrim
(i only have a 2.7 Ghz dual core cpu, so its not exactly top of the line cpu helping out)

4 out of 5 eggsgreat card on a budget

Pros: low power consumption and fast clock speeds along with the price makes for a real nice upgrade. I was using an old gt 240 and wanted to do a minor upgrade until i build a new system and this was a great choice. extrmely quite, compact and no need for a new psu are the key pointers with this card. i originally saw some random frame drops until i got the 314.22 drivers from nvidia and now it runs really good. i didnt buy this from newegg because i was too impatient to wait for shipping so i paid about $40 more for the convienence but was well worth it. playing tomb raider on ultra gives me about 10-18 fps which is to be expected with a card like this and a game with grafix that intense but with a slight tuning in the options I get amazing grafix and run an average of 30 fps with a high of 50. I highly recommend this card for anyone on a budget.

Cons: no cons so far as ive not had any issues with it since the driver upgrade

Other Thoughts: would have been nice to come with a few more cuda cores but still a great card for the money

5 out of 5 eggsAMAZING!

Pros: The fan is quiet, I'm able to play many high-end games (to my surprise), and it hasn't exploded yet.

Cons: The fan has gone berserk for about 10 seconds every once in a while, but that's not really a bother to me.

Other Thoughts: I bought this card to replace my malfunctioning Radeon 6850. I assumed that the performance would be noticeably reduced, but so far I've been able to play many demanding games without any sign of struggle.

4 out of 5 eggsGreat Card For the Money

Pros: Good Card for the price i went from a Gt430 to this GTX 650. I must say i am really impressed. My WoW Cata. FPS went from high 20's and low 30's to 60's Plus. My Microsoft Score went from 5.1 to 7.3. Got the 10 dollar back rebate and saving a few bucks is always welcome.

Cons: I did have to buy a HDMI Mini cable for it they could have included a adapter or made it so would take a full size HDMI

takes 2 PCI slots.

Other Thoughts: I docked 1 egg for not having either a Mini HDMI adapter or a Full size HDMI.

Others say it gets a bit loud when the fan spins up i got it all the way up to 70 right now and i noticed no change in the noise and my ears are pretty sharp.

system specs

2.77Ghz Dual Core Pent.
4 gig DDR3 1066 Ram
6 Tb hard drive space ( waiting on my SSD )
680 watt power supply
in Haf 912 case

5 out of 5 eggsHappy

Pros: This card just works better with my HDTV than the old Radeon 5450 did; I can actually edit options in the BIOS now, without having the computer overscan off the edge of the screen, and I can use a custom resolution while still getting the best out of the display's pixel density. The best of both worlds. It's fast enough for 720p gaming in all the games I'm interested in right now (Borderlands 2, Antichamber, Legend of Grimrock). It's also quieter than the rest of my build (i3 based). The small size is also a boon, because my case doesn't have much clearance at all.

Cons: It did cost me some extra money thanks to that mini-HDMI connector. Not a big fan of that. This card could handle a full sized HDMI rotated at 90 degrees, which would minimally block airflow. As it is, because they don't include a cable or even an adapter, you should remember to go ahead and order one alongside this, otherwise you'll be paying a big time premium locally. Plastic fan shroud also feels really flimsy.

Other Thoughts: This is a great home theater card; I have it in a box that plays video games, streams content, and hosts a Minecraft server. 99% uptime, and no complaints from me, plus I couldn't hear a difference between it and the passive 5450 that it replace, so it's doing well for me. Just beware, it does cover two slots (contrary to what another reviewer has posted), and may have fresh competition soon.

4 out of 5 eggsVery Nice!

Pros: This card is VERY nice, considering the fact I got it on sale for $109.99 ( USD ). This card is considerably faster than the regular GTX 650 (1GB), and it runs surprisingly cool!

On a 1280x1024 (Little bit lower than HD) it runs Battle Field 3 at a constant 60fps (Vsync) at High settings, but in bigger matches, I have to customize it a little bit.

Crysis 2 runs constantly at 55-60fps, vsync on, at Very High settings.

Great little card!

Cons: Runs surprisingly loud, when cranked at 60% and above speed fan. (Use the nVidia Precision X, it's epic) I don't care about noise though.

Get's up to 37-39*C when under full load (Keep in mind, I am in a basement, in the winter in Michigan, room temp is about 55-60*F)

Stays cool when not under heavy load at about 22-26*C.

I don't know if it's normal, but, the card makes a faint whisshing sound, not the fan, not the PSU, weird. (Docked an egg)

+++ I will update when I find more ++

Other Thoughts: Great card all around if you are on a budget... Upgrade to a 650TI or a 660 if possible. :)

4 out of 5 eggsNo Complaints yet

Pros: Very quiet
Decent grphx for the price
Great company
Superclocked
Small and fits easily within case

Cons: I haven't had any problems yet but I only have had the product for about a week or two.

Other Thoughts: Is good for gaming but the games that require lots of grphx power will not be able to be played smoothly on the very highest setting but almost, unless the rest of your pc parts can make up for the card.

However, if your not gaming then this card will definitely handle your needs and it may please you even for gaming, like it has for me.

1 out of 5 eggsDropped the ball...

Pros: None.

Cons: They really dropped the ball on this one. Right when I got the card, I knew it would be bad. It started off with the card straight up not working, and EVGA taking multiple weeks to help me get it fixed. After this, when I ran games, I noticed a large amount of FPS issues and occasional stuttering where the game froze for a few seconds. I now have to run all of my games on low settings with a low resolution

Other Thoughts: DO NOT BUY

Manufacturer Response:

Hello,

This is not the resuts we expect to see from this card. Please contact us at 888-881-3842 so we can get a bit more information and look for a resolution.

Thank you,
Brandon B
