A new hit of the "sweet spot" for gamers, the EVGA GeForce GTX 660 delivers the ultimate combination of performance, power efficiency, and affordability. It's built around 960 CUDA Cores with 2048 MB / 192 bit GDDR5 memory to render your blockbuster games with vivid details and skip-free pictures. This GTX 660 FTW Signature 2 version is factory overclocked to 1072MHz Base Clock/1137MHz Boost Clock - a level higher than the 980MHz Base Clock/1033MHz Boost Clock than reference specification for delightful performance boost and higher framerate in actual gaming. Enjoy great peace of mind with dual silent fans that deliver quiet cooling. GeForce GTX 660 also packs support for all the premium GTX gaming technologies such as NVIDIA Surround, 3D Vision, PhysX and SLI. With these features and more, the EVGA GeForce GTX 660 gives you more than one way to elevate your experience.

  • newegg Kepler GPU Architecture NVIDIA's Kepler GPU architecture has been designed from the ground up not just for maximum performance in the latest DirectX 11 games, but optimal performance per watt. The new SMX streaming multiprocessor is twice as efficient as the prior generation and the new geometry engine draws triangles twice as fast. The result is world class performance and the highest image quality in an elegant and power efficient graphics card.
  • newegg NVIDIA GPU Boost Up until now, GPUs have operated at a fixed clock speed when playing 3D games, even if they have the potential to run faster. GPU Boost intelligently monitors graphics work load and increases the clock speed whenever possible. The result is that the GPU always performs at its peak and you get the highest framerate possible.
  • newegg NVIDIA Adaptive Vertical Sync Nothing is more distracting than framerate stuttering and screen tearing. The first tends to occur when framerates are low, the second when framerates are high. Adaptive V-Sync is a smarter way to render frames. At high framerates, V-sync is enabled to eliminate tearing, at low frame rates, it's disabled to minimize stuttering. It gets rid of distractions so you can get on with gaming.
  • newegg NVIDIA Surround with Up To Four Monitors Nothing is as breathtaking as playing your favorite games across three monitors. At 5760 x 1080, the expanded field of view fully engages human peripheral vision and provides for the most immersive experience in racing and flight simulators. Add in a fourth display to keep tabs on chat, email or web while you are gaming.
  • newegg TXAA AntiAliasing Antialiasing helps to smooth out jagged lines in games. Existing techniques like MSAA are effective at removing jagged lines in still images but struggle with crawling and shimmering artifacts when the player is in motion. TXAA is a new antialiasing mode that combines MSAA, temporal filtering, and post processing for the highest edge quality and minimal shimmering during gameplay.
  • newegg NVIDIA 3D Vision Ready NVIDIA 3D Vision brings a fully immersive, stereoscopic 3D experience to the PC. A combination of high-tech wireless glasses and advanced software, 3D Vision transforms hundreds of PC games into full stereoscopic 3D. Get up to 2x monitor and keyboard brightness with NVIDIA 3D LightBoost technology. In addition, you can enjoy 3D movies and 3D digital photographs from 3DVisionLive.com in eye popping, crystal-clear quality.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Deal. Great Card

Pros: Great price for the preformance it gives. Used the card for almost 18 months now, and ran most modern games on highest settings in the 40- 50 fps range. (Titanfall, Skyrim, COD: Ghosts, WoW, SC2, Diablo 3, LoL, etc)
Would suggest for a gamer who focuses on non-fps MMO's, like World of Warcraft or League of Legends, it will allow you to play on high settings with no issues in FPS for a very nice price.
No Heat issues, and supports 2 Monitors like a breeze.

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: When I first purchased the card the fan was making an odd ticking noise, as if it were knicking the side of the fan case. Ended up being the static plastic that is applied normally on the exterior of things, on the actual fan blades. Have never seen that before, but once removed never heard from the fan again.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat mix of value and quality

Pros: I purchased this card back in february 2013 and have been very pleased with the end result. I coincidentally had a friend building a machine with almost identical specs to mine the only thing that changed was he had a 680. When I originally got the card it could run most things maxed or just under with a single card. for obvious reasons fps' tended to dip a little more often on a 660 based system versus a 680 based system but for half the price you really cant complain too much. Nvidias continuing driver update have helped the card age nicely with improved efficiencies across the board. The FTW Sig 2 cooling system is really just the cherry on top that allows to fairly extensive OC'ing

Cons: Struggles to perform with advanced tessellation and SSAA

Other Thoughts: Even though this card is now a little dated, I wouldn't wholesale discount it as an excellent option for running SLI, or building a more budget oriented machine

4 out of 5 eggsexcellent card for a good price.

Pros: This card is a very solid beast for the price. I bought it and had no issues with gameplay. It keeps cool at all times (even when overclocked) and delivers solid performance with all games at 1080p at high or ultra settings. This card is great for people who want a lot of bang for their buck and this card is one of my favorites yet !

Cons: Fans can get a little loud when they throttle up.

Other Thoughts: Great over clocker, very stable.

5 out of 5 eggsFTW!

Pros: I have it set up in SLI with an evga standard 660 with a slight o.c. They work really really well together. Benchmarks all my games in Ultimate maxed out settings at 60 FPS average. Saw most of bioshock infinite benchmark above 100 fps and no lower than 59 fps. Definitely happy with it so far. Stays cool, fan noise not bothersome.

Cons: Won't do my job for me while I stay home playing video games.

Other Thoughts: Maybe I'll update the review if things get going bad somehow, just completely satisfied with this cards performance, especially as the main card in my sli setup in charge of most of the processing. I have tried other brands, but have been extremely happy with EVGA and will buy from them for any of my gpu upgrades and definitely refer the brand to friends.

4 out of 5 eggsGreat Support from EVGA

Pros: Fast card, great deal at the time, runs cool. support and rma process is easy from EVGA, 3yr warranty, Fast turnaround time for rma.

Cons: card would crash at stock clock speeds, had to underclock it to be stable. just got a bad one.

Other Thoughts: did rma from EVGA and they shipped me a gtx 760 acx superclocked one so its a bit of an upgrade. will write review on that card after arrives.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Card. Great Price.

Pros: This is the best card I have ever owned. I have been play every game on ultra at 1920x1080. I can run BF4 on ultra at 75Fps. This a great card. If you are looking to upgrade and don't want to spend a arm and a leg. Buy this card.

Cons: None. Except this card is a little to big. I have a full tower and have enough space but if you have a mid tower I would check to see if you have enough room before you buy this.

5 out of 5 eggs100th Review, woohoo!

Pros: Great for the price. Runs quiet and cool. I have not come across a game that I could not play at max, besides bf4. Bf4 fps is a little too low to play at the predefined ultra settings although tweaks can be made to those settings to get near ultra.

Cons: At the current time, it is starting to be outpaced by the games that are coming out. Bf4 is a little hard on it when playing in ultra but is easily playable at high or a little above that. So really it has at least another half a year to a year of being a good card. However, I'm not sure that I would recommend buying the card unless you're getting two to use in an SLI configuration. Might wanna go with a 760 or higher to future proof yourself.

Other Thoughts: I'm thinking about getting another 660 and running them in SLI for the next few years or waiting another year and getting a brand new card. Hesitant to get another one of these for an SLI because I'm not sure how much longer that 2GB of vram will be enough and SLI can only use the vram from one of the multiple cards in the config which is disappointing. I've only had a gaming computer for a year so I still have things to learn.

3 out of 5 eggsDisappointing

Pros: Not as loud as one may expect.

Cons: I "upgraded" to two of these in SLI from my previous GTX 570 but after multiple benchmarks and CUDA testing, there seemed to be very little (and some applications showed less - namely source engine games) improvement over a single GTX 570. I wish I could say there was a bottleneck somewhere but honestly, check my sys specs below and you'll see - there are none.

By the way, these results were seen in both Windows 7 x64 Pro AND Ubuntu 13.04 x64, all with fully capable drivers and settings optimized.

Other Thoughts: - Intel Core i7 3930k @ 4.17GHz
- ASUS Sabertooth x79 Motherboard
- 16GB G.Skill DDR3-2133 RAM
- 256GB Samsung 840 SSD
- 3TB Hitachi SATA3 64MB cache
- Corsair AX1200i PSU
- Antec Twelve Hundred case
- Corsair H100i water cooling
