A new hit of the "sweet spot" for gamers, the EVGA GeForce GTX 660 delivers the ultimate combination of performance, power efficiency, and affordability. This card is built around 960 CUDA Cores with 3072 MB / 192 bit GDDR5 memory to render your blockbuster games with vivid details and skip-free pictures. This SuperClocked model is factory overclocked to 1046MHz Base Clock/1111MHz Boost Clock - a level higher than the 980MHz Base Clock/1033MHz Boost Clock than reference specification for delightful performance boost and higher framerate in actual gaming. GeForce GTX 660 also packs support for all the premium GTX gaming technologies such as NVIDIA Surround, 3D Vision, PhysX and SLI. With these features and more, the EVGA GeForce GTX 660 gives you more than one way to elevate your experience.

  • newegg Kepler GPU Architecture NVIDIA's Kepler GPU architecture has been designed from the ground up not just for maximum performance in the latest DirectX 11 games, but optimal performance per watt. The new SMX streaming multiprocessor is twice as efficient as the prior generation and the new geometry engine draws triangles twice as fast. The result is world class performance and the highest image quality in an elegant and power efficient graphics card.
  • newegg NVIDIA GPU Boost Up until now, GPUs have operated at a fixed clock speed when playing 3D games, even if they have the potential to run faster. GPU Boost intelligently monitors graphics work load and increases the clock speed whenever possible. The result is that the GPU always performs at its peak and you get the highest framerate possible.
  • newegg NVIDIA Adaptive Vertical Sync Nothing is more distracting than framerate stuttering and screen tearing. The first tends to occur when framerates are low, the second when framerates are high. Adaptive V-Sync is a smarter way to render frames. At high framerates, V-sync is enabled to eliminate tearing, at low frame rates, it's disabled to minimize stuttering. It gets rid of distractions so you can get on with gaming.
  • newegg NVIDIA Surround with Up To Four Monitors Nothing is as breathtaking as playing your favorite games across three monitors. At 5760 x 1080, the expanded field of view fully engages human peripheral vision and provides for the most immersive experience in racing and flight simulators. Add in a fourth display to keep tabs on chat, email or web while you are gaming.
  • newegg TXAA AntiAliasing Antialiasing helps to smooth out jagged lines in games. Existing techniques like MSAA are effective at removing jagged lines in still images but struggle with crawling and shimmering artifacts when the player is in motion. TXAA is a new antialiasing mode that combines MSAA, temporal filtering, and post processing for the highest edge quality and minimal shimmering during gameplay.
  • newegg NVIDIA 3D Vision Ready NVIDIA 3D Vision brings a fully immersive, stereoscopic 3D experience to the PC. A combination of high-tech wireless glasses and advanced software, 3D Vision transforms hundreds of PC games into full stereoscopic 3D. Get up to 2x monitor and keyboard brightness with NVIDIA 3D LightBoost technology. In addition, you can enjoy 3D movies and 3D digital photographs from 3DVisionLive.com in eye popping, crystal-clear quality.

5 out of 5 eggspowerful card

Pros: this replaced my evga 560 and i've noticed a big boost in performance. i can play the most current games on max settings with no problem, including metro: last light (on a 40'' tv via hdmi) that i got with it. i don't see why some people reviewing this think this is not a powerful graphics card. i have no need for anything more. great price for a great card

Cons: none

Other Thoughts: i don't buy any other brand of graphics card, evga has never let me down

4 out of 5 eggs

Pros: When I first got the card and played with it, it ran games amazing, BF3 on ultra at 60fps and Crysis 3 at 50fps.

Cons: after about a month the card died on me but I was able to get a new one with the nice people at EVGA. But ever since then the card could not handle games at the same performance level. I can only run those games at medium at 60fps

Other Thoughts: This card is great for getting into high performance gaming, but I personally believe that the 670 would be a better price to performance ratio.

5 out of 5 eggsEVGA does it again

Pros: Bought this when my long out of warranty GTX 470 started making a loud whirring noise. This isn't a gaming rig and I don't need a ton of graphics horsepower which is why I didn't go with a GTX 670 but I do need some as I do a lot of CAD and rendering work. Under heavy loads this GPU barely makes a whisper and it's rock solid. I also needed HDMI connectivity so I can hook my rig up to the conference room monitors and this card provides it and then some. It also has D-Link DVI which is a definite must as I plan to purchase one of those ultra high resolution 1440P Korean displays in the near future and wanted to make sure my card was up to date.

Cons: EVGA gave away 3-D Mark and the new Metro and I bought this card before both promotions. Oh well.

Other Thoughts: This is the rest of the rig:

- Corsair 500R
- Seasonic X750 Gold
- Gigabyte GA-Z68XP-UD3P
- Intel Core i5-3450
- 16GB Corsair XMS RAM
- 128GB OCZ Vertex 4
- 1TB Samsung Spinpoint F3
- LG Blu Ray Burner
- EVGA Geforce GTX 660

5 out of 5 eggsBest card I have owned for Hackintosh

Pros: Whats not to love price to performance is great and looks awesome. Best card I have found for Hackintosh just install new Nvidia Mac driver and turn GraphicsEnable=No.

Cons: Wish I had never replaced it for the $150 more expensive GTX 660 Ti GTX. This card made system boot extremely fast!

5 out of 5 eggsGood value

Pros: Bought this card to replace two cards I had on my system, an EVGA GTX260 Core216 and a 7900GTX.
This card drives three monitors without issues, at a fraction of the power usage of the two older cards.
Game performance is very good.

Maybe the Radeon cards in the same price range may perform a little better, but I've had too many drive issues in the past to consider them.

Cons: No cons yet. Some have reported issues with DOA cards, but I haven't had issues.

1 out of 5 eggsHad To Return It

Pros: Well, it doesn't work. :/

Sorry to ruin the party.

Cons: It keeps crashing mid-game on me with Planetside 2. I'm also have an issue with bringing it out of hibernate and giving me a Blue Screen. I'm sending it back and gonna try my luck with something else.

Oh, and yes I've uninstalled the all the video drivers and re-installed the latest update to no avail. If you get one of these that does not crash during games, I guess it's probably a pretty good card lol.

I also got a bad stick of RAM as well that I've had to remove - this last order from New Egg = 2 returns. :(

Other Thoughts: AMD-FX 8350

512 SSD drive
NO VIDEO CARD NOW LOL

Manufacturer Response:

I apologize for the problems you have been having with your card. If you have not already sent the card back, please give us a call at 888-881-3842 so we can get some more information and see if we can trouble shoot this issue with you.

Thank you,
Brandon B

5 out of 5 eggsBig and beautiful

Pros: Uhm it lets me play about any game I want, for a price I could actually afford.

Cons: uhm.. it's huge. Make sure you connect other things to your motherboard before you connect this baby, or you're going to be taking it off again..

Other Thoughts: rated my tech level as low because I know a lot about other things but not so much about gpu's. It does what I wanted it to do. that's what i know ^^
