A new hit of the "sweet spot" for gamers, the EVGA GeForce GTX 660 delivers the ultimate combination of performance, power efficiency, and affordability. This card is built around 960 CUDA Cores with 3072 MB / 192 bit GDDR5 memory to render your blockbuster games with vivid details and skip-free pictures. This FTW Signature 2 model is factory overclocked to 1072MHz Base Clock/1137MHz Boost Clock - a level higher than the 980MHz Base Clock/1033MHz Boost Clock than reference specification for delightful performance boost and higher framerate in actual gaming. Enjoy great peace of mind with the dual silent fans that deliver quiet cooling. GeForce GTX 660 also packs support for all the premium GTX gaming technologies such as NVIDIA Surround, 3D Vision, PhysX and SLI. With these features and more, the EVGA GeForce GTX 660 gives you more than one way to elevate your experience.

  • newegg Kepler GPU Architecture NVIDIA's Kepler GPU architecture has been designed from the ground up not just for maximum performance in the latest DirectX 11 games, but optimal performance per watt. The new SMX streaming multiprocessor is twice as efficient as the prior generation and the new geometry engine draws triangles twice as fast. The result is world class performance and the highest image quality in an elegant and power efficient graphics card.
  • newegg NVIDIA GPU Boost Up until now, GPUs have operated at a fixed clock speed when playing 3D games, even if they have the potential to run faster. GPU Boost intelligently monitors graphics work load and increases the clock speed whenever possible. The result is that the GPU always performs at its peak and you get the highest framerate possible.
  • newegg NVIDIA Adaptive Vertical Sync Nothing is more distracting than framerate stuttering and screen tearing. The first tends to occur when framerates are low, the second when framerates are high. Adaptive V-Sync is a smarter way to render frames. At high framerates, V-sync is enabled to eliminate tearing, at low frame rates, it's disabled to minimize stuttering. It gets rid of distractions so you can get on with gaming.
  • newegg NVIDIA Surround with Up To Four Monitors Nothing is as breathtaking as playing your favorite games across three monitors. At 5760 x 1080, the expanded field of view fully engages human peripheral vision and provides for the most immersive experience in racing and flight simulators. Add in a fourth display to keep tabs on chat, email or web while you are gaming.
  • newegg TXAA AntiAliasing Antialiasing helps to smooth out jagged lines in games. Existing techniques like MSAA are effective at removing jagged lines in still images but struggle with crawling and shimmering artifacts when the player is in motion. TXAA is a new antialiasing mode that combines MSAA, temporal filtering, and post processing for the highest edge quality and minimal shimmering during gameplay.
  • newegg NVIDIA 3D Vision Ready NVIDIA 3D Vision brings a fully immersive, stereoscopic 3D experience to the PC. A combination of high-tech wireless glasses and advanced software, 3D Vision transforms hundreds of PC games into full stereoscopic 3D. Get up to 2x monitor and keyboard brightness with NVIDIA 3D LightBoost technology. In addition, you can enjoy 3D movies and 3D digital photographs from 3DVisionLive.com in eye popping, crystal-clear quality.

5 out of 5 eggsAwesome Card

Pros: It runs pretty much all games somewhere around the highest settings possible. Has excellent cooling, and it is easy to pop off the fans and really clean out the heatsink underneath the cover with just a can of air. I have never had any problems from it and I've had it for almost 1 year. You simply cannot beat the performance for the price!

Cons: The only con is the same with every card that is any good, that it is quite large. If you have a small case, you should measure to make sure it will fit. I haven't seen any performance based cons as of yet though.

Other Thoughts: If/when I have the desire to upgrade my card, I will most likely just buy this one again and SLI them.

5 out of 5 eggsStrong GPU

Pros: *The GPU has an exceptional cooling system that can handle overclocking quite well.
*EVGA does not void your warranty for overclocking their cards.
*The large amount of RAM and high memory bandwidth makes for a great modding experience in video games.
*The video card can easily handle multiple, 1080P monitors with full screen gaming, high-definition video playback, and instantly updated stock graphs.

Cons: *The cards BIOS need to be flashed to put a significant overclock on it as it is factory limited.

Other Thoughts: This is a strong card, and I would buy it again if it weren't for the new NVIDIA lineups.

5 out of 5 eggsEVGA GTX 660 3GB Signature2

Pros: Works well; WEI is 7.8 in Win7 64-bit Ultimate; 3GB ram

Cons: It's only 192-bit interface

Other Thoughts: I bought a 270X video card for my new build, but in Win7 64-bit I got really bad color aberration with the AMD drivers. I could barely read lettering on the monitor. Installed this GTX 660 card and Nvidia drivers and the video is perfect with no video problem at all. I tried a different ATI/AMD video card when I couldn't get the video to work with the 270x card, but once the drivers were installed for that card, the video was all color smears as well. Only the Nvidia card seems to work well in Windows 7 because the ATI/AMD drivers are horrible!!!!!

5 out of 5 eggsover a year old, still going strong.

Pros: haven't had a single issue with it ever since I bought it, runs everything I throw at it on the highest setting and a single screen, bf4, hawken, and MW:O, not a single hiccup

stays fairly stable with the core clock at 1.2ghz, no overvolt. gets plenty of air to breath since I have an open air case (nzxt vulcan), 72mhz bump.

Cons: it can run a tad toasty if you don't have enough air moving in the case, other then that, none

Other Thoughts: I'm pretty happy that I got the 3gb variant of the 660, was a godsend for me since I needed alot of vram for skyrim mods, being the main reason I grabbed it.

I recently grabbed titanfall, and was VERY surprised that this card runs it completely maxed out! not a single stutter or anything (resolution 1920x1080). that made me smile big.

can't wait for maxwell cards to come out, thats gonna be a hit.

1 out of 5 eggsDisfunctional.

Pros: Works well for about 15 minutes

Cons: Overheats my entire PC after about twenty minutes. I've gone through one replacement model already and the same exact thing occurred. I even went to the extent of buying a new power supply because of the random shut offs and yet with the new PSU the same thing occurs. Sincerely upsetting.

Other Thoughts: Possibly due to factory overclocking? not quite sure. idle temps run at about about 34 Celsius; seems a bit warm even at idle.

5 out of 5 eggsGood solid graphics

Pros: Low power consumption, works with linux and windows, multiple monitor support

Cons: none

Other Thoughts: I've had this card for about a year and have had zero problems. I duel boot windows and linux. I run three monitors and am thinking about adding a fourth. I run windows for games and play skyrim and like games. High frame rate with lots of HD mods and other addons.

90% of the time I'm running Linux mint. I didn't have to do a lot of tweaking to get to work. It does exaclty what I need it to do.

5 out of 5 eggsAWESOME card!

Pros: Completely rebuilt my rig and replaced an old EVGA GeForce GT240 with this bad boy, it can handle ANYTHING I throw at it without having to adjust fan speed. I've owned many EVGA products and continue to recommend them .

Fantastic card!

Cons: None.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat investment.

Pros: Runs any game i throw at it.

Price was very reasonable.

The dual fans keep this nice and cool along with using precision X to adjust the speeds of the fan with temp.

Got the new Batman game for free.

Cons: none so far.

5 out of 5 eggsWho needs more than this?

Pros: I bought this to replace my two 8800GTX (640MB) SLI setup I had. They didn't support DirectX 11 to play the new COD Ghosts. I'm on a tight budget and crossed my fingers that this card would do the trick on my PCIe 2.0 interface. I can now play COD Ghosts at 2560x1600 on my 30" Samsung, just shy of maxed-out settings, and it runs great. Hawken plays at highest settings on 2560x1600 without a hiccup. This single card BLOWS THE DOORS off my old 8800GTX SLI setup it replaced! I highly recommend this card. Why do you need any better?

Cons: None so far.

Other Thoughts: This card is pretty big. Although my rig is starting to show its age, it is still keeping up with today's games; especially now with this video card upgrade. I have an old EVGA 780i SLI mobo, and this card blocks one of the SATA plugs on the board. Not a real CON for me as I am using five of the six SATA connectors. I just moved a cable, and everything is tight, but fine.
