The EVGA GeForce GTX 660 Ti is the weapon of choice for gamers. It adds a new dimension to the NVIDIA Kepler-powered family of graphics cards by delivering the ideal fusion of power, performance, and affordability. Experience faster, smoother, richer gaming with innovative NVIDIA technologies like TXAA antialiasing, Adaptive Vertical Sync, and PhysX.

  • newegg Kepler GPU Architecture NVIDIA's Kepler GPU architecture has been designed from the ground up not just for maximum performance in the latest DirectX 11 games, but optimal performance per watt. The new SMX streaming multiprocessor is twice as efficient as the prior generation and the new geometry engine draws triangles twice as fast. The result is world class performance and the highest image quality in an elegant and power efficient graphics card.
  • newegg NVIDIA GPU Boost Up until now, GPUs have operated at a fixed clock speed when playing 3D games, even if they have the potential to run faster. GPU Boost intelligently monitors graphics work load and increases the clock speed whenever possible. The result is that the GPU always performs at its peak and you get the highest framerate possible.
  • newegg NVIDIA Adaptive Vertical Sync Nothing is more distracting than framerate stuttering and screen tearing. The first tends to occur when framerates are low, the second when framerates are high. Adaptive V-Sync is a smarter way to render frames. At high framerates, V-sync is enabled to eliminate tearing, at low frame rates, it's disabled to minimize stuttering. It gets rid of distractions so you can get on with gaming.
  • newegg NVIDIA Surround with Up To Four Monitors Nothing is as breathtaking as playing your favorite games across three monitors. At 5760 x 1080, the expanded field of view fully engages human peripheral vision and provides for the most immersive experience in racing and flight simulators. Add in a fourth display to keep tabs on chat, email or web while you are gaming.
  • newegg TXAA AntiAliasing Antialiasing helps to smooth out jagged lines in games. Existing techniques like MSAA are effective at removing jagged lines in still images but struggle with crawling and shimmering artifacts when the player is in motion. TXAA is a new antialiasing mode that combines MSAA, temporal filtering, and post processing for the highest edge quality and minimal shimmering during gameplay.
  • newegg NVIDIA 3D Vision Ready NVIDIA 3D Vision brings a fully immersive, stereoscopic 3D experience to the PC. A combination of high-tech wireless glasses and advanced software, 3D Vision transforms hundreds of PC games into full stereoscopic 3D. Get up to 2x monitor and keyboard brightness with NVIDIA 3D LightBoost technology. In addition, you can enjoy 3D movies and 3D digital photographs from 3DVisionLive.com in eye popping, crystal-clear quality.

5 out of 5 eggsWonderful Card

Pros: Amazing card. Runs just about all games maxed out. Don't listen to what people say about the noise. If your card does that, you just have to update your drivers. You can control the fan speeds as well.

Overall, it's an AWESOME card. Go NEWEGG and EVGA!

Cons: Non except some of the dumb comments people left on this page.

5 out of 5 eggsMore than I expected

Pros: Plays anything 1080p at MAX

680 PCB! huge plus

Amazing cooling!

clocks high and voltage is unlocked

The looks are amazing. so sleek

Cons: needs a backplate but not worth taking a EGG off.

Other Thoughts: I chose this over the MSI and ASUS versions due to the extreme amounts of good things I heard about EVGA.

Purchase the 660 Ti FTW Signature 2, you will NOT be sad.

1 out of 5 eggsConstant crashes

Pros: Card looks great

Cons: After receiving and installing the card, (factory shipped settings) I tried to play BF3. After approx 5 mins the game crashed which began a long period of testing and trialing. I reverted to 3 different older drivers based on searches for similar problems with the same results. Updated the MB to the newest BIOS. Removed the sticks of memory I had and trialed using just 1 stick in different slots. Changed out the PSU. Moved the GPU to the second 16X PCI-E slot. Reinstalled windows. Tried the beta drivers. Nothing worked and I still received the "Display driver has stopped responding and recovered" (Event ID 4101) after playing BF3 for 5 to 10 minutes. Kombustor also couldn't complete a test without crashing so I finally removed the 660 TI and replaced it with a 250GTS and the game ran smoothly. I was actually impressed that the game ran as well as it did with that card. The 660 Ti is defective.

1 out of 5 eggsannoying noise

Pros: looks good
runs games well

Cons: fans can be loud
makes a SUPER annoying buzzing noise when the card boosts it self

Manufacturer Response:

Hello,

This would most likely be due to noisy inductors, it is not an issue for the card. However, if you would like you can contact me on this matter at bbrunson@evga.com

Thank you,
Brandon B

5 out of 5 eggsCrisp, and clean with a tiny wrinkle

Pros: Amazing performance in games. This card will run metro 2033 maxed out at 1920 x 1080 with 25- 50 fps constant with little deviation. It also has no problems running Hitman: Absolution at the same res. with everything maxed with tesselation on with around 23- 50 or even 60 fps. It also works amazingly for rendering in blender and is much faster than my cpu in the 3d rendering department.

Cons: The Dvi to pci video adapter was broken so I couldnt use my tv for it untill I figured out I could plug a HDMI cable in the back, mostly stupidity on my part. Another problem Is that my motherboard wont detect it is there so I have to keep my old 9500 gt in the mobo for it to even send a picture.

Other Thoughts: I am going to look on the msi and evga forums to see if I can solve the issue of my motherboard not detecting it as a video output. Otherwise a stellar card!

5 out of 5 eggsCard might APPEAR doa...

Pros: Card is VERY powerful. Looks great. Runs cool and not too loud.

Cons: A good bit bigger than my 550ti and the shroud is kind of flimsy. Neither are a huge deal.

Other Thoughts: Many people think their card is DOA because they can't just pop it in and run it. If your cards fans run, it's not DOA. You need to update your motherboards bios and pre-install the drivers from NVIDIA's website.

5 out of 5 eggsNice Upgrade

Pros: Low noise, solid smooth gaming performance for the latest AAA titles, low temps (yet to see over 54c full load, with around 23c room temperature). A solid upgrade over the 560ti. I personally like the carbon fiber-ish effect, looks nice in the case.

Cons: None I can see.

Other Thoughts: I replaced my 560ti Unclassified and wasn't expecting much of an increase in performance. Well, I was wrong. The Kepler GPUs seem to be a big step up from the last iteration of cards. For Rift anyhow, it boosted frame rates by some 20-30 in places, and seems much smoother in general.

I don't see any issues with the bandwidth, but then I run 1680x1050 so I would imagine I never will.

If you are thinking of upgrading from a 560Ti, you will notice an overall boost to your system, including sound levels reduced and overall case temperatures being reduced, not just visual performance and stability.

Not a must have upgrade, but as you go below 5xx series I would imagine this becomes a nicer upgrade the further back you go.

5 out of 5 eggsSilky Smooth performance

Pros: Super quiet, great temperatures, smooth gameplay, PhysX abilities are outstanding. It really is a great sweetspot for performance/price. I've had a great time being able to up the settings on all my games. Realistically, this card still can't give you the highest FPS ever with all settings maxed out, but with a few adjustments in each game you can have fantastic results.

Cons: It's only a 192bit memory bus. It would be really nice to have wider bandwidth for the memory, but I haven't come across any problems.

Other Thoughts: I'm seeing a lot of people complaining about DOA cards. Mine worked great from day one. Plugged it in, downloaded and installed the latest driver and away we went. Maybe there's a bad batch, but that seems weird. EVGA is one of the fastest companies to respond and they have very helpful forums. I've never had any problems with their cards. I really want to get another one.
