A great blend of performance and quality, the EVGA GeForce GTX 650 Ti VGA card brings your gaming to next level with amazing visual brilliance and environmental interaction. Based on the industry-leading 28nm Kepler architecture, the EVGA GeForce GTX 650 Ti packs power SMX shaders and abundant amount of memory to deliver a performance punch in the latest games and applications. An array of NVIDIA innovations, such as NVIDIA Surround, NVIDIA Adaptive Vertical Sync and the new TXAA Anti-aliasing Mode offers more than one way to elevate your gaming experience, bringing your entertainment and work to a new level like never before.

  • newegg Kepler GPU Architecture NVIDIA's Kepler GPU architecture has been designed from the ground up not just for maximum performance in the latest DirectX 11 games, but optimal performance per watt. The new SMX streaming multiprocessor is twice as efficient as the prior generation and the new geometry engine draws triangles twice as fast. The result is world class performance and the highest image quality in an elegant and power efficient graphics card.
  • newegg NVIDIA Adaptive Vertical Sync Nothing is more distracting than framerate stuttering and screen tearing. The first tends to occur when framerates are low, the second when framerates are high. Adaptive V-Sync is a smarter way to render frames. At high framerates, V-sync is enabled to eliminate tearing, at low frame rates, it's disabled to minimize stuttering. It gets rid of distractions so you can get on with gaming.
  • newegg NVIDIA Surround with Up To Four Monitors Nothing is as breathtaking as playing your favorite games across three monitors. At 5760 x 1080, the expanded field of view fully engages human peripheral vision and provides for the most immersive experience in racing and flight simulators. Add in a fourth display to keep tabs on chat, email or web while you are gaming.
  • newegg TXAA AntiAliasing Antialiasing helps to smooth out jagged lines in games. Existing techniques like MSAA are effective at removing jagged lines in still images but struggle with crawling and shimmering artifacts when the player is in motion. TXAA is a new antialiasing mode that combines MSAA, temporal filtering, and post processing for the highest edge quality and minimal shimmering during gameplay.
  • newegg NVIDIA 3D Vision Ready NVIDIA 3D Vision brings a fully immersive, stereoscopic 3D experience to the PC. A combination of high-tech wireless glasses and advanced software, 3D Vision transforms hundreds of PC games into full stereoscopic 3D. Get up to 2x monitor and keyboard brightness with NVIDIA 3D LightBoost technology. In addition, you can enjoy 3D movies and 3D digital photographs from 3DVisionLive.com in eye popping, crystal-clear quality.
  • newegg NVIDIA PhysX Technology Full support for NVIDIA PhysX technology, enabling a totally new class of physical gaming interaction for a more dynamic and realistic experience with GeForce.

4 out of 5 eggsLoud? What are you people talking about?

Pros: Fantastic value card. Factory overclock pushes this card well past the 7770. Quiet, cool, looks adorable compared to the behemoth cards most run these days. Fantastic Linux support, ubuntu 13.04 runs like a charm. I'm not much of a gamer, but I do run FSX and Civ V -- both at full settings on 1080p without issues (paired with an FX-8350).

Cons: Unfortunately, the recently released 7790 and 650ti boost have taken over this card's market segment, and it's no longer the value proposition it was a month or two ago.

Other Thoughts: Unless you have this card literally installed inside a space heater, and place the space-heater-gpu-contraption inside of an echo chamber, I have no idea how you could complain about the noise. I have 2 Corsair AF140 fans in my case running with the included quiet-mode adapters, and you can't hear this card over those even when gaming at full blast. YES you can mess with the fan curve, set it to 100%, and then it does get a bit noisy. But in real-world usage i've never seen the fan get NEAR that high.

5 out of 5 eggsFast and great for GPU video

Pros: Super fast. Haven't been able to push it beyond 55C. Use it for video encoding and editing using vReveal and it took a standard def movie from 3 hours down to 25 minutes and a 720p movie to 55 min down from 5 hours. I should mention my old card was a gt430 for a reference point. I went from 1gb ddr3 and 96 cuda's to 1gb ddr5 768 cuda cores with this beast.

Cons: none.

Other Thoughts: paired with my e3-1230v2 and 16gb ram, ssd, and raid setup I can't imagine ever needing anything more. Then again my old Tandy 1000 had 640k ram and I had thought who'd ever need more! hehe.

2 out of 5 eggsGood design, bad execution

Pros: Good quality visuals, multiple displays, high resolution

Cons: Like a number of people commented, it's LOUD. Not as loud as some make it out to be, but certainly loud enough to be heard over noise-canceling headphones. Also, the connectors are a bit squeezed together, but that's what happens with smaller cards.

Biggest problem is the fact that Windows 7 seems to blow away the graphics driver every time an update reboots the machine and it all has to be installed from scratch. Tech support's best options for me were to either A.) deal with it or B.) manually install ALL updates so that I can have it skip graphics driver updates.

Other Thoughts: Even when a card makes my game look great, if my best option for making it work is to spend an hour of my very limited gaming time manually installing updates to my machine, it's worth less than nothing to me. As soon as I can afford it, I'll be going back to ATI.

4 out of 5 eggsNice GPU

Pros: Powerful. Doesn't use much power and runs very cool, never had it over 62C with Prime95. Never had any lag. Runs Crysis 3 on Medium settings, everthing other game max settings.

Cons: Doesn't look amazing..

Other Thoughts: I would reccomend this gpu to anyone who is a gamer but doesn't need a GTX 660.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat so far.

Pros: -Great card for the price.
-Very small size (so it fill fit easily in just about any case).
-Seems to have good power for the price/size. Runs games like BF3 and The Witcher 2 on High-Max (which everything cranked up to the max The Witcher 2 slows down a little bit at times...but on High it looks basically as good and runs great).

Cons: -Can't run every game out right now at Max settings...but close!

2 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Nice, cool running card, good enough for most games if you're not super-serious.

Cons: Screaming, uncontrollable fan with the unit I received.

Other Thoughts: I really tried to have this card work for me; 3 different mobos gave me the same uncontrollable, VERY loud fan, basically running at 100% at all times, from the moment you boot up. Manufacturer's fan control software didn't solve the issue either. My first RMA, and it's a shame because the gpu worked just fine.

Manufacturer Response:

Hello,

Please do not hesitate to contact us again if you have any issues with your replacement card.

Thank you,
Brandon B

5 out of 5 eggsSMALL & Powerful

Pros: This joker is a lot smaller than I thought, it packs a good punch, no overheat, no loud noise, it works a lot better than the 7950GT-OC It replaced, although smaller, plays crysis 2, MW3, sniper ghost warrior and V2, all work smooth

Cons: none

Other Thoughts: this is a small form factor with a good punch, running on an older 2007 acer MB at the moment with win 7 32 bit, the only problem I have is when computer sleeps it will not wake up, have to hard shutdown, tried many different settings, hope my new build I have been preparing will do better with the sleep issue.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Buy!

Pros: -Runs Battlefield 3 and PlanetSide 2 on Max settings
-First time installing a new Graphics card really easy!

Cons: I would much rather get a free game then the 75$ coupon, but better than nothing!

Other Thoughts: This Graphics card can run any game out on Med-high

Can't say I'm disappointed...

Cons: The Boost model came out about a week after I had this installed. Oh, well.

Other Thoughts: I'm a Linux user, and am using the nVidia drivers, not the open-source nouveau drivers. nVidia's Linux support (despite Linus' outburst last year) has always been far better than ATI's Linux support.

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent

Pros: Great bang for the buck. I bought this card instead of an ATI card because of the better driver support Nvidia offers for Linux.

Runs StarCraft II on Extreme settings perfectly in Wine 1.5.27. Amnesia Linux version runs beautifully on max settings, as well! Dota 2 would not run in Wine using Intel integrated graphics, but after installing this card, it runs perfectly on maximum video settings.

Absolutely satisfied with this card.

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: Open source Nouveau driver would not load GNOME 3 shell. Had to install proprietary driver in Unity or GNOME Classic. Maybe I just had an outdated driver.

Specs:
Intel Core i5 3570K (stock speeds, stock fan+sink)
Asus P8Z77-V
Ubuntu 12.04 LTS
Nvidia proprietary driver ver. 304.84
