A great blend of performance and quality, the EVGA GeForce GTX 650 Ti VGA card brings your gaming to next level with amazing visual brilliance and environmental interaction. Based on the industry-leading 28nm Kepler architecture, the EVGA GeForce GTX 650 Ti packs power SMX shaders and abundant amount of memory to deliver a performance punch in the latest games and applications. An array of NVIDIA innovations, such as NVIDIA Surround, NVIDIA Adaptive Vertical Sync and the new TXAA Anti-aliasing Mode offers more than one way to elevate your gaming experience, bringing your entertainment and work to a new level like never before.

  • newegg Kepler GPU Architecture NVIDIA's Kepler GPU architecture has been designed from the ground up not just for maximum performance in the latest DirectX 11 games, but optimal performance per watt. The new SMX streaming multiprocessor is twice as efficient as the prior generation and the new geometry engine draws triangles twice as fast. The result is world class performance and the highest image quality in an elegant and power efficient graphics card.
  • newegg NVIDIA Adaptive Vertical Sync Nothing is more distracting than framerate stuttering and screen tearing. The first tends to occur when framerates are low, the second when framerates are high. Adaptive V-Sync is a smarter way to render frames. At high framerates, V-sync is enabled to eliminate tearing, at low frame rates, it's disabled to minimize stuttering. It gets rid of distractions so you can get on with gaming.
  • newegg NVIDIA Surround with Up To Four Monitors Nothing is as breathtaking as playing your favorite games across three monitors. At 5760 x 1080, the expanded field of view fully engages human peripheral vision and provides for the most immersive experience in racing and flight simulators. Add in a fourth display to keep tabs on chat, email or web while you are gaming.
  • newegg TXAA AntiAliasing Antialiasing helps to smooth out jagged lines in games. Existing techniques like MSAA are effective at removing jagged lines in still images but struggle with crawling and shimmering artifacts when the player is in motion. TXAA is a new antialiasing mode that combines MSAA, temporal filtering, and post processing for the highest edge quality and minimal shimmering during gameplay.
  • newegg NVIDIA 3D Vision Ready NVIDIA 3D Vision brings a fully immersive, stereoscopic 3D experience to the PC. A combination of high-tech wireless glasses and advanced software, 3D Vision transforms hundreds of PC games into full stereoscopic 3D. Get up to 2x monitor and keyboard brightness with NVIDIA 3D LightBoost technology. In addition, you can enjoy 3D movies and 3D digital photographs from 3DVisionLive.com in eye popping, crystal-clear quality.
  • newegg NVIDIA PhysX Technology Full support for NVIDIA PhysX technology, enabling a totally new class of physical gaming interaction for a more dynamic and realistic experience with GeForce.

4 out of 5 eggsGreat GPU

Pros: That is good for gaming.
I can play BF3 at Ultra.
After one year it is still not that bad.

Cons: I am running new games like BF4 and Watch Dogs at Medium, but I could put it a little higher, but it is becoming "glitchy".

1 out of 5 eggsBad Video Card

Pros: None

Cons: The video card died on me after 1 year it turn out to been a defective card out of the box. I didn't start experiencing issues until I started playing ESO (Elder Scrolls Online) which was the first video game I played with very high graphics. This video card should have handle it just fine but it constantly crashed. (Not the game the video card crashed) my display would black out and I would have to restart my PC every time to get it to come back on. I tried getting support from EVGA with little to not much help from them and nothing fixed the issue.

I would not recommend buying a EVGA video card.

5 out of 5 eggsFinally, it works!

Pros: Ok, so yes I had two bad reviews before. They were legitimate problems that I had. I was about to give up on EVGA. But called their support line again and they RMA'd me a third card and this one works beautifully. In the end it turned out that it was NOT my system but just pure bad luck that I received two faulty cards in a row, but hey, it is great to see all my games in high detail with fast rendering, large scale, and smooth edges. Thanks EVGA for standing behind your product and I really hope this third card works trouble free for the rest of its life.

*Most games able to play on High or Maximum with great FPS
*Clear detail in full 1080p HD
*Support for dual monitors
*Compact size with a good on-board cooling fan. Fits in my mid-tower easily.

Cons: *Hoping for zero from here on out :)

Other Thoughts: *The HDMI out is a mini HDMI port, so be sure to have the right cable if you want to hook up to your HD flatscreen for things like Netflix, Hulu, etc.

*If you call EVGA's support line, keep in mind that some technicians are more eager to help than others. If you get one who doesn't really seem motivated in helping you, simply thank them for their time, hang up, and dial again. It was a world of difference on how I was treated and how quickly my problems were resolved.

5 out of 5 eggsWicked Good GPU

Pros: -Quiet (Specially considering how big the fan is)
-Small!
-Good price
-Awesome FPS with this card
-Runs cool
-Small power usage

Cons: -Not SLI capable (its a shame, but not such a bad issue that I would knock down a star for)
-

Other Thoughts: This is my second EVGA card and I'm really happy with my purchase, well worth every dollar. Would recommend to anyone else! EVGA ROCKS.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Performance!!!!!, value!!

Pros: *EVGA free included software offers a program to monitor your card and adjust super clocking. Can set custom fan speed, even to match card temperature. + more!

*GREAT value. recommended for most gamers wanting maximum graphics settings, but doesn't want to pay too much.

*(see other thoughts)

Cons: * mine did not fit my compact desktop, check if you have room before purchasing (compact desktop is 4" wide, card its 4.379" wide
*requires at least a 400w power supply, with 20 amps on the 12 volt rail. I only had a 220w power supply, so check this too.
* VGA plug-in uses an adapter plugged into a DMI-A port (to plug in a blue monitor cable requires you use their included adapter)
* you might want to consider your processor performance that will go with this graphics card, a low performance processor may not be as efficient in "keeping up" with this card.

Other Thoughts: In my system upgrade, I also got a better processor and a 4gb ram stick (now its 2x4gb). My old graphics card was an "integrated Intel HD graphics". Please consider these when viewing my performance changes after using this product. On one game, I went from getting 6 frames per second (fps) on minimum graphics settings to 103fps on minimum and 60 on maximum. On another game, I went from 20 fps on minimum to 125 minimum and 75 on maximum. This thing is getting me 60-75 fps on maxed-out settings, it is SOO Powerful!! and this performance is running on ~60%GPU! I love the included software programs.

(if your trying to narrow down processor choices and are interested my choices, the one I got was because a reputable site recommended the i5-3450 as the best cpu match (stated reason was because a cpu that is too fast for the graphics card may not be as efficient as a 'matched' processor).

I chose this graphics card because I thought spending $200 was more than I wanted to spend. The GPU for the 650 is ~1700, and for the 650 TI is ~2700. A reputable site said the EVGA SSC version (this product) is 9% faster than the "standard" 650 TI. I think it is one of the best for the price, and I wouldn't use any greater performance than the one this offers. (I consider 30fps plenty enough). I could play a game on maximum graphics settings, record myself playing in 1080p, play music, run many other programs, and still have plenty more performance to spare.

I would highly recommend this card.

I've never upgraded a video card before, and never played on maximum graphics settings, so my excitement is related to this. Please use your best judgement of my review and the statistics provided to see if this product it right for you.

* I will update this review with increased ownership

1 out of 5 eggsSerious flaw

Pros: Great graphics when the card worked

Cons: This is my second card since I RMA'd the first one for both the NVIDIA driver crash problem and a broken fan blade. If you are not familiar with the NVIDIA Driver Crash problem, a simple search will point you to thousands of people who have endured the problem with little or no resolution. Anyway, I received the second one and it still has the driver crash problem. Per EVGA's and NVIDIA's recommendations, I've reinstalled windows 7, updated AND rolled back driver versions, and even took it to a computer expert (at my expense). Nothing has solved the problem. After searching the internet, it is apparent this is a serious problem with a high percentage of NVIDIA chipset cards and has not been addressed outright by either NVIDIA or the companies that use their technology. I am going to RMA and hope for a refund (yeah right, no one really stands by their products in the tech world anymore beyond a couple months). At this point, I'm going to write this off as a loss and switch to the other video card chipset. When you can't deliver a product that works nor provide a comprehensive solution, then sorry, you fail twice as a company and I will take my hard-earned money elsewhere. I'm not easily ruffled, but this card has been nothing but a headache for the past several months.

Other Thoughts: Avoid this card unless you want to risk reformatting your drive and reinstalling Windows for nothing.

Manufacturer Response:

Dear Garrett S,
It is uncommon for the same problem to occur with two different products. In this case, it sounds like you may be having a problem with one of the other components in your set up causing this issue. The driver resets have been updated by Microsoft due to Windows 7 causing false resets as well as sometimes being caused by a system instability related to system memory or possible power issues. In this case we recommend contacting our 24 hour support at 1-888-881-3842 option 1, or by email at newegg@evga.com, so that we may help you with troublshooting your issue.

Sincerely,
EVGA Customer Support

5 out of 5 eggsNice Upgrade

Pros: Very satisfied so far, easy install, quiet running. Replaced GT220 with this and jumped from 20-35FPS to steady 60 FPS at 1280 and 1920 in my favorite on line flying game. Nice upgrade for my level system (i7, W7/64, PCIe x 16 2.0, 450W PS, purchased in 2010). After researching it seemed anything more than this would not show appreciable difference based on my level PC considering a number of factors, limiting factor seems to be the 2.0 PCIe bus so I think a GT 660 and up would probably be overkill? My 450W PS had a 6 pin power plug which is all this unit needed, bigger cards generally need more than 450Ws and possibly more plugs and I didn't want to go there if I didn't have to. Although this is a PCIe 3.0 bus unit it is backward compatible to PCIe 2.0. This was a nice size unit at around 7+" instead of around 9+" for a GT660. Kepler architecture and adaptive vertical sync. are nice features. If you are still looking for more performance and have a 2.0 bus I think it is possible to get more out of a 2.0 bus with a higher end card but there may be other limiting factors, I would try to get an expert opinion on just how much more performance and at what cost. In general pages seem to load faster, color is good, easy adjustments. Downloaded current driver from NVIDEA before I installed hardware, installation was smooth. Get a mini HDMI cable ready ahead of time as this is the output HDMI connection used.

Cons: None at this time

5 out of 5 eggsGreat overall

Pros: This card was $160ish when I bought it as it was all I could spend. It has served me well and hasn't failed me once. A year later it is still a solid card for budget builders but I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND you spend the few extra dollars on the gtx 650ti boost. I bought this card a few weeks before the boost came out and was disappointed I missed out. The boost has 2 gigs of ram and gives a large bang for buck performance versus this card. Plays Gta IV on high but not ultra settings. Planet Side 2 usually runs on high not max settings with fps drops down to 20 in the heaviest of battles. Bf3 should run on high I've heard. Skyrim on high I believe. Crysis 3 on medium.

Cons: None so far I've seen

Other Thoughts: I would recommend you get the 650ti boost or a new r9 series by radeon as they will out perform this card. It dominated the market for price in early 2013 and 2012 but it's time has passed. Only buy if it's a cheap cheap price as like I said the boost version is much better for the difference.
