Bring HD-quality gaming to the entry level.

The EVGA 01G-P4-2650-RX packs an affordable entry-level GPU – GeForce GTX 650. Based on the fast and efficient NVIDIA Kepler architecture, GeForce GTX 650 provides the perfect entry point to DirextX 11 and 1080p HD gaming in your favorite FPS and MMO games.

  • newegg Kepler GPU Architecture NVIDIA's Kepler GPU architecture has been designed from the ground up not just for maximum performance in the latest DirectX 11 games, but optimal performance per watt. The new SMX streaming multiprocessor is twice as efficient as the prior generation and the new geometry engine draws triangles twice as fast. The result is world class performance and the highest image quality in an elegant and power efficient graphics card.
  • newegg NVIDIA GPU Boost Up until now, GPUs have operated at a fixed clock speed when playing 3D games, even if they have the potential to run faster. GPU Boost intelligently monitors graphics work load and increases the clock speed whenever possible. The result is that the GPU always performs at its peak and you get the highest framerate possible.
  • newegg NVIDIA Adaptive Vertical Sync Nothing is more distracting than framerate stuttering and screen tearing. The first tends to occur when framerates are low, the second when framerates are high. Adaptive V-Sync is a smarter way to render frames. At high framerates, V-sync is enabled to eliminate tearing, at low frame rates, it's disabled to minimize stuttering. It gets rid of distractions so you can get on with gaming.
  • newegg NVIDIA Surround with Up To Four Monitors Nothing is as breathtaking as playing your favorite games across three monitors. At 5760 x 1080, the expanded field of view fully engages human peripheral vision and provides for the most immersive experience in racing and flight simulators. Add in a fourth display to keep tabs on chat, email or web while you are gaming.
  • newegg Two New Anti-aliasing Modes: FXAA and TXAA Anti-aliasing smoothes out jagged edges but can be demanding on framerates. FXAA is a new antialiasing technology that produces beautiful smooth lines with minimal performance impact. And with Kepler based GPUs, you'll be able to enable FXAA in hundreds of game titles through the NVIDIA Control Panel. The second mode, TXAA, is an in-game option that combines MSAA, temporal filtering, and post processing for even higher visual fidelity.
  • newegg NVIDIA 3D Vision Ready NVIDIA 3D Vision brings a fully immersive, stereoscopic 3D experience to the PC. A combination of high-tech wireless glasses and advanced software, 3D Vision transforms hundreds of PC games into full stereoscopic 3D. Get up to 2x monitor and keyboard brightness with NVIDIA 3D LightBoost technology. In addition, you can enjoy 3D movies and 3D digital photographs from in eye popping, crystal-clear quality.

4 out of 5 eggsGreat little card!

Pros: Amazing performance considering the price point and how old it is. Works perfectly without any bottlenecking (either way) on an Intel Core 2 Duo system. Incredible improvement for gaming over the GeForce 210!

Cons: First one DOA. RMA'd through EVGA.

Other Thoughts: For the sale price, and the lower power draw (good if you have an older power supply), this thing pumps out the frames and keeps on performing.

40-50 fps on BioShock Infinite and SkyRim (with hi-res texture pack mod) both on Ultra at 1440x900. Seriously impressed.

2 out of 5 eggsWorked for 1/2 Day

Pros: $75 refurbished. After installing and updating nvidia drivers it worked well for 1/2 day.

Cons: Then card would repeatedly crash and recover. 5-6 times in a row then the whole computer would blue screen. Did a days worth of trouble shooting including uninstal/re-install drivers, uninstall/re-install card. Used different ports and cables. No luck.

Other Thoughts: Sending back for a replacement RMA. Writing one bad experience off as the chance you take with refurbished hardware.

4 out of 5 eggsGood for price but fan noise

Pros: $75 for a good entry level card
Better performance than I expected (plays Skyrim in 1440p on decent settings without mods @ ~40fps)

Cons: Fan noise. Measured 60-65db while idling at 21% fan speed. Pretty sure that's a defect.

Other Thoughts: Will probably RMA for an exchange, but I'd still buy it again at this price

4 out of 5 eggsGood Card...Might have a Problem one....

Pros: Great card, very small and light. Plays Saints Row the Third on Ultra very nicely (I did the auto configure) and that's just one game it plays nicely on.

Cons: I'm not sure this is a con but at random, my display cuts out. I know its not the monitor (unless it busted within moments that I got the card).

For the most part, I had only been seeing it black out for a few seconds while playing Path of Exile (using hdmi 1920x1080)...and not long ago it did that while on the desktop/browsing the web. I'll try dvi as well as another monitor to try to see if maybe it's a fault hdmi slot on my card or monitor....or to see if the card could be faulty.

Other then that, great card so far (long con list compared to pros but wanted to explain my issue in detail).

Other Thoughts: I'm a EVGA fan so I knew the card would at least work when I got it....I am worried that I got a faulty one but I'm sure if I did, Newegg and EVGA will help me get the problem fixed.

(Boosted my video ratings from 3.8 graphics/3.4 gaming onboard to 7.3 graphics/gaming)

3 out of 5 eggsNice card

Pros: Very fast, replaced my old 4870 and gives me tons of power. very easy to install instantly recognized and runs very quite at 30~39 celsius very pleased with my purchase

Cons: I waited a week for this card to arrive and was excited to hook it up and test it but when i looked for the 6-pin adapter...there was none. i had to go into town and buy a 6-pin adapter for $13. Neither did it include any Manuel or CD (which i was fine with) but including at least a 6-pin would of been nice, or at least state that it only includes the graphics card and be able to order one alongside it

Other Thoughts: Still very satisfied using card right now and had zero problems wonderful card i would recommend it to anyone. minus two eggs due to no 6-pin and nothing stated on page of not including such

Manufacturer Response:

All RX products do not come with any accesories of any kind. We do list this information on our website. I apologize for any confusion on this matter.

Thank you,
Brandon B

5 out of 5 eggsAn excellent card for PhysX

Pros: Low voltage, so it doesn't tax your PSU.

Short, so it fits in easily compared to most video cards, its about half the length.

Excellent price for the performance.

Amazing PhysX Power, Seems to work better than many high end GPUs for it.

Cons: Only real problem i have with this card is it takes up two spaces on the back because of its thickness, making it less than ideal for those who have smaller motherboards and cases.

Other Thoughts: A great GPU with low power usage that is great for both casual and more hardcore gamers, along with those whom we would classify as the eye candy gamers, this card works wonders, and for those of us on a budget, i could see this card performing remarkably well as a primary graphics card.
