The GeForce GTX 690 GPU is NVIDIA’s fastest GPU ever. It provides truly game-changing performance by combining the groundbreaking new GeForce architectures with the power of raw dual 1536 NVIDIA CUDA core GPUs (NVIDIA's most powerful ever). That’s 3072 CUDA cores, all working to deliver awesome gaming performance. NVIDIA GPU Boost technology maximizes clock speeds on both GPUs to push performance to new levels. The EVGA GeForce GTX 690 Hydro Copper edition graphics card is meticulously designed with robust power delivery and EVGA Hydro Copper water block  for extreme performance and overclocking without sacrificing acoustics. Enable massive firepower with NVIDIA Quad-SLI technology. Change your game.

  • newegg EVGA Hydro Copper water block The EVGA Hydro Copper water block is a full cover- end to end block with swappable inlet/outlet. The base plate is made of copper and the 0.25mm x 0.35mm thin pin matrix provides optimal thermal transfer to ensure the lowest temperatures possible.
  • newegg Kepler GPU Architecture NVIDIA's Kepler GPU architecture has been designed from the ground up not just for maximum performance in the latest DirectX 11 games, but optimal performance per watt. The new SMX streaming multiprocessor is twice as efficient as the prior generation and the new geometry engine draws triangles twice as fast. The result is world class performance and the highest image quality in an elegant and power efficient graphics card.
  • newegg NVIDIA GPU BOOST Up until now, GPUs have operated at a fixed clock speed when playing 3D games, even if they have the potential to run faster. GPU Boost intelligently monitors graphics work load and increases the clock speed whenever possible. The result is that the GPU always performs at its peak and you get the highest framerate possible.
  • newegg NVIDIA Adaptive Vertical Sync Nothing is more distracting than framerate stuttering and screen tearing. The first tends to occur when framerates are low, the second when framerates are high. Adaptive V-Sync is a smarter way to render frames. At high framerates, V-sync is enabled to eliminate tearing, at low frame rates, it's disabled to minimize stuttering. It gets rid of distractions so you can get on with gaming.
  • newegg NVIDIA Surround with Up To Four Monitors Simultaneously drive up to four independent 1080p displays for the ultimate multimedia or productivity workspace and expand a single application across all three displays for an immersive viewing perspective.
  • newegg TWO NEW ANTI-ALIASING MODES: FXAA AND TXAA Anti-aliasing smoothes out jagged edges but can be demanding on framerates. FXAA is a new antialiasing technology that produces beautiful smooth lines with minimal performance impact. And with Kepler based GPUs, you'll be able to enable FXAA in hundreds of game titles through the NVIDIA Control Panel. The second mode, TXAA, is an in-game option that combines MSAA, temporal filtering, and post processing for even higher visual fidelity.

5 out of 5 eggsAmazing

Pros: Received my card about a week ago, installed it and was ready to play. Running on a 1440P monitor, every game I throw at runs smooth.

Crysis 3, everything maxed and 1xSMAA (all you need @ 1440P) average 45-60fps

Metro 2033, everything maxed average 50-70fps.

Temps wise: 23-28c idle, 30-37c full load. Crysis 3 @ 43c~

Coming from a GTX680, huge upgrade, could barely play Metro/Crysis 3. Literally double'd my fps.

Cons: Price obviously, but better than a GTX Titan.

5 out of 5 eggsGot the replacement

Pros: Absolutely amazing performance. Easily 4-5 times the framerate of my heavily overclocked Sapphire Toxic 6970.
The GTX690 overclocked an additional 150clock/350mem with ease and temps never go above 42c (dual 280MM radiator loop). The EVGA LED controller is supported, favorite being the breathing light option.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: I use an Overlord Tempest X270OC 2560x1440 S-IPS display @ 120Hz. Getting this card was essential to hitting 120FPS with high settings in many of my favorite games.

Like the Nvidia Titan, getting this card to play on a 1080p display would be a complete disservice.

5 out of 5 eggsAwesome Card

Pros: The card is awesome. Its played EVERY single title I have attempted to play on max graphics without even a hiccup.

Cons: I think its funny that people give a bad rating to a product if it arrives dead. How about give a review of your working product. Yes it sucks getting a bad item, but thats what refunds / rma is for. There is no need to knock a product and its review because it was deffective. This is the best card on the market hands down.

3 out of 5 eggsSound issues

Pros: Awesome card, dual GPU's, will play anything I throw at it at ultra high quality.

Cons: Only problem is, I have my battle station hooked up to an audio receiver, then my TV, and immediately when I start a game, any game, the speakers start producing loud, and annoying, "pops" and sometimes the audio drops out entirely. A quick goggle search told me that this is not an entirely uncommon issue, and that the DPC latency is too high on this card. I might just return it and stick with my dual GTX 580's, which gave me no issues, until I can get my hands on a titan. I just feel that if I'm going to pay a large amount for a card, this shouldn't be an issue.

1 out of 5 eggsDOA

Pros: The EVGA logo lights up.

Cons: Arrived dead. Confirmed with EVGA tech over the phone.

Other Thoughts: I will RMA the card and try again. I will update my review when the time comes.
