Kepler for every gamer.

The wait is over. EVGA presents us a powerful yet highly affordable graphics card - 02G-P4-2662-RX with the new mid-range GTX 660 GPU. GeForce GTX 660 GPU inherits the class-leading performance and power efficiency of Kepler GPU architecture at a price that won't make you wince. Factory overclocked at 1046MHz which is 66 MHz more than the reference card, the EVGA 02G-P4-2662-RX offers more astonishing graphics performance. To make the big bigger, GPU boost offers a higher GPU clock whenever it is possible.

  • newegg Kepler GPU Architecture NVIDIA's Kepler GPU architecture has been designed from the ground up not just for maximum performance in the latest DirectX 11 games, but optimal performance per watt. The new SMX streaming multiprocessor is twice as efficient as the prior generation and the new geometry engine draws triangles twice as fast. The result is world class performance and the highest image quality in an elegant and power efficient graphics card.
  • newegg NVIDIA GPU Boost Up until now, GPUs have operated at a fixed clock speed when playing 3D games, even if they have the potential to run faster. GPU Boost intelligently monitors graphics work load and increases the clock speed whenever possible. The result is that the GPU always performs at its peak and you get the highest framerate possible.
  • newegg NVIDIA Adaptive Vertical Sync Nothing is more distracting than framerate stuttering and screen tearing. The first tends to occur when framerates are low, the second when framerates are high. Adaptive V-Sync is a smarter way to render frames. At high framerates, V-sync is enabled to eliminate tearing, at low frame rates, it's disabled to minimize stuttering. It gets rid of distractions so you can get on with gaming.
  • newegg NVIDIA Surround with Up To Four Monitors Nothing is as breathtaking as playing your favorite games across three monitors. At 5760 x 1080, the expanded field of view fully engages human peripheral vision and provides for the most immersive experience in racing and flight simulators. Add in a fourth display to keep tabs on chat, email or web while you are gaming.
  • newegg Two New Anti-aliasing Modes: FXAA and TXAA Anti-aliasing smoothes out jagged edges but can be demanding on framerates. FXAA is a new antialiasing technology that produces beautiful smooth lines with minimal performance impact. And with Kepler based GPUs, you'll be able to enable FXAA in hundreds of game titles through the NVIDIA Control Panel. The second mode, TXAA, is an in-game option that combines MSAA, temporal filtering, and post processing for even higher visual fidelity.
  • newegg NVIDIA 3D Vision Ready NVIDIA 3D Vision brings a fully immersive, stereoscopic 3D experience to the PC. A combination of high-tech wireless glasses and advanced software, 3D Vision transforms hundreds of PC games into full stereoscopic 3D. Get up to 2x monitor and keyboard brightness with NVIDIA 3D LightBoost technology. In addition, you can enjoy 3D movies and 3D digital photographs from in eye popping, crystal-clear quality.

5 out of 5 eggsthe most reliable card I have used

Pros: This card will take high end AAA titles today and play them some you can even play at ultra 60+ fps. I've used this card for while now and I can say They REALLY mean super clocked. It does better than my friends GTX 750 Ti. I'll give a great example. Call of Duty Black Ops 2 GTX 660 SC = +150FPS Ultra + 1600x900; GTX 750 Ti = ≈80FPS, Ultra, 1600x900. Another thing I love about this card is that even for that small fan it runs quiet and cool, I can hardly hear the card except for when its under 100% load and the fan is all the way going. Should you buy this card, I say yes because it is a good less expensive card that will preform for its money. and the 2 GB of Vram is good for what your getting, And if you say that the 750 Ti is better i can describe how they are different. Disclaimer I'm not saying put the 750 Ti to dust because it is more energy efficient but this review is 100% on gaming and the 660 does better in this area. Before you buy this(NO this will not out preform something like a 980 Ti or Titan X)

Cons: Overclocking but don't even try considering its already OC.

Other Thoughts: If you are on a budget TRY TO FIT THIS CARD IN.

5 out of 5 eggsfast 660

Pros: fast for what i need
no led

I like the warm it provides to my room , this is not a con because it's so cold in here

Other Thoughts: Refurbished in an EVGA brown box with no cable or CD included, but it's a lot cheaper, with the same warranty why not going with a REFURBISHED one !!

AC UNITY : medium settings.
Pretty awesome fps are around 35, it's like the next gen console graphics

i like to buy new build to try them out, this one is a g3258 + gtx 660 = awesome and cheap !

5 out of 5 eggsAwesome card for an awesome price!

Pros: Price (caught it on a special refurb sale).
Still a good performer.
Refurbished by the manufacturer.

Cons: All in all, none to speak of.

Other Thoughts: Felt very confident when this arrived in an EVGA brown box, not some blank or third-party packaging.
It was the card only, no accessories or driver disc.
Got this to upgrade my LAN gamer that had a GTX 750 Ti and it DID improve performance over the Maxwell-based card.
Still a relevant card and worth purchasing at the refurb price.
Mine has been running for the better part of 6 months with zero problems.

1 out of 5 eggsDisappointed in refurbs so far...

Pros: Performance does seem to match what's described in other reviews, able to play most games at high-ultra settings

Cons: Loud, high-pitched noise coming from the fan as soon as I plugged it in, even when I disable the card. My PC is in my bedroom so I can't have a card making such noises.
I'm pretty sure it's not coil whine since it's coming from the fan (but then I guess the capacitors could be there too). The noise disappears as the fan slows down and stops. My PSU is a brand new Seasonic 750W Platinum, so if it doesn't work with the card I don't know what will. I have sent it back for RMA, so hopefully I have better luck with the replacement... Updates to follow...

Other Thoughts: May not get refurbs again...

5 out of 5 eggsGreat stuff

Pros: price to performance is amazing
eats everything thrown at it

Cons: the sound it makes goes loud and quiet very erratically, like a laptop fan, it can be irritating if your close to your pc.

Other Thoughts: I have never had an issue with a refurb before, but i have had 2 doa new cards, so for the people worried about refuurbs from newegg, dont be, its your better bet.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Got this for $129.99.Still had the plastic protective wrap like it was new. Make sure your GPU is disabled in the bios or the video wont appear. Running three monitors on a 520 watt power supply. No issues. Must have extra 8 pin connecter.

Cons: After reading reviews I was paranoid card would not display video. Forgot to disable gpu in bios and when no video appeared I freaked. Even after disabling in bios still no video when win 8.1 booted . Win 8.1 must have recognized something because after delay--- video appeared.

Other Thoughts: Don't really know what refurb is? (used) or returned item? You will get no software ,cables or instruction sheets.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Definitely a steal for the price. This card is great, performs awesome. Had doubts buying refurb, but all the refurb computer parts I have gotten have been absolutely flawless!

Cons: Runs a little hot, but still within acceptable levels. When gaming, it hovers around 48C, which is perfectly fine for me.

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent if you're willing to wait

Pros: The GTX 660 is a great card. I'm not up on new games, I'm still playing Skyrim, Diablo 3, and Borderlands, and this card performs exceptionally.

Cons: My card failed within 20 minutes.

Other Thoughts: There are a lot of reviews stating GPU failure straight out of the box. Normally I wouldn't even consider buying something that has a 50/50 chance of failure. But surprisingly most of the reviewers still gave this a good rating, stating great RMA service from EVGA. And when this refurb card came up with a $20 instant discount, I pulled the trigger.

Going into it I knew that there was a high chance my card would be DOA out of the box, but I hedged my bets and still was able to lean on this supposed great RMA service from EVGA. Not surprisingly my card worked for about 20 minutes, then big artifacts, color shift/strobing, and a system crash occurred.

I called EVGA not really knowing what to expect. The guy on the other end was helpful and understanding. We ran though a few tests just to make sure that was indeed a GPU failure. And then I was pointed to EVGA's RMA page.

The RMA process took 8 days, including shipping to and from. And a total of 13 days from the inital order date to my RMA delivery.

In the end of the day I saved about $50 going down this route, but took about two weeks to recieve my card. I wasn't in any hurry so the savings was worth it.

If you need this card, and need it to work out of the box. I would look into buying new instead of refurbished. But if you're looking to save a few bucks and can wait an extra week or two, this is a great route to go down.
