Kepler for every gamer.

The wait is over. EVGA presents us a powerful yet highly affordable graphics card - 02G-P4-2662-RX with the new mid-range GTX 660 GPU. GeForce GTX 660 GPU inherits the class-leading performance and power efficiency of Kepler GPU architecture at a price that won't make you wince. Factory overclocked at 1046MHz which is 66 MHz more than the reference card, the EVGA 02G-P4-2662-RX offers more astonishing graphics performance. To make the big bigger, GPU boost offers a higher GPU clock whenever it is possible.

  • newegg Kepler GPU Architecture NVIDIA's Kepler GPU architecture has been designed from the ground up not just for maximum performance in the latest DirectX 11 games, but optimal performance per watt. The new SMX streaming multiprocessor is twice as efficient as the prior generation and the new geometry engine draws triangles twice as fast. The result is world class performance and the highest image quality in an elegant and power efficient graphics card.
  • newegg NVIDIA GPU Boost Up until now, GPUs have operated at a fixed clock speed when playing 3D games, even if they have the potential to run faster. GPU Boost intelligently monitors graphics work load and increases the clock speed whenever possible. The result is that the GPU always performs at its peak and you get the highest framerate possible.
  • newegg NVIDIA Adaptive Vertical Sync Nothing is more distracting than framerate stuttering and screen tearing. The first tends to occur when framerates are low, the second when framerates are high. Adaptive V-Sync is a smarter way to render frames. At high framerates, V-sync is enabled to eliminate tearing, at low frame rates, it's disabled to minimize stuttering. It gets rid of distractions so you can get on with gaming.
  • newegg NVIDIA Surround with Up To Four Monitors Nothing is as breathtaking as playing your favorite games across three monitors. At 5760 x 1080, the expanded field of view fully engages human peripheral vision and provides for the most immersive experience in racing and flight simulators. Add in a fourth display to keep tabs on chat, email or web while you are gaming.
  • newegg Two New Anti-aliasing Modes: FXAA and TXAA Anti-aliasing smoothes out jagged edges but can be demanding on framerates. FXAA is a new antialiasing technology that produces beautiful smooth lines with minimal performance impact. And with Kepler based GPUs, you'll be able to enable FXAA in hundreds of game titles through the NVIDIA Control Panel. The second mode, TXAA, is an in-game option that combines MSAA, temporal filtering, and post processing for even higher visual fidelity.
  • newegg NVIDIA 3D Vision Ready NVIDIA 3D Vision brings a fully immersive, stereoscopic 3D experience to the PC. A combination of high-tech wireless glasses and advanced software, 3D Vision transforms hundreds of PC games into full stereoscopic 3D. Get up to 2x monitor and keyboard brightness with NVIDIA 3D LightBoost technology. In addition, you can enjoy 3D movies and 3D digital photographs from in eye popping, crystal-clear quality.

5 out of 5 eggsSo far So good

Pros: gives great gpu power and performance. I upgraded from a GTX 460, and i can see the big difference. I haven't had any real issues with it yet.

Cons: It can run a little hot, like 60-70 in some games, but its air cooled and thats not that bad to be honest. It's not ideal but i can work with it.

Also the fan gets loud at start ups. It might freak you out at first, but the fan just needs to settle. once its been on for a min or 2 its goes back to being quite and stays that way untill its shuts off for a period of time and needs to be turned on again.

Other Thoughts: I was worried about buying a refurbished card, so I got the warranty with it just in case. I recommend everyone do that when buying refurbished.

but so far so good with the card, no real issues and performs well on all top games.

5 out of 5 eggsSweet

Pros: Second one at much cheaper cost now I can run SLI. Honestly I have purchased many refurbs off newegg and been lucky.

Cons: Still kind of pricey for a refurb with the 700's out now.

Other Thoughts: 149 Bucks to pair up with my other I spent 220 on a year ago. Not a bad deal running two SLI 660's Superclocked so not even worried about the newer 700 series for quite awhile.

1 out of 5 eggsparanoid to install it...

Pros: non yet

Cons: smelled burnt....

Other Thoughts: When I go the card in today was excited to install it open the box up and then my tower to install the new memory I ordered with it then I popped out my old graphics cards then opened the box that this one was in opened the bubble wrap bag then I smelt it since it was refurbished don't call me weird because most techs do this and when i smelled it it smelt like a burnt circuit board is why I was a but paranoid to install it, I thought I'd do it anyways just to test it

-gave me no display picture
-and gave me a some beep codes (so I know it's bad now)

I unistalled it, reinstalled my old graphics cards, and what ya know I got a display.

defiantly returning this card, if I ca't get money back I hope to get a new card I was always skeptical about refurbished hardware and this is the first one and last refurbished item I will buy.

5 out of 5 eggsDefinitely Worth It

Pros: I've had zero problems even though it was a refurb. I've always heard good things about Newegg refurbs and had good experiences with them myself.

Easily plays everything I want it to.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: It's capable of playing everything I play on the highest of settings and I believe that said it was capable of playing 100% of games currently on the market. Or was it 96%. One of my components was 96% at highest settings, the other was 100%. Either my CPU or GPU. Can't remember.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat GPU, Great Customer service.

Pros: Great card, runs everything i throw at it really well. First one came dead, called up EVGA, less then 5 minutes later, i had a rma accepted and he was nice enough to give me a free shipping label.

Cons: I would say the DOA one is a con but the customer service was so good i don't even mind.

Other Thoughts: I dont have a super beast pc... Still rocking PCI-E 1.0. but even with the performance drawbacks, (memory runs at 3000mhz as apposed to 6000) it still sneezes at everything.

Cons: none exactly what wanted

Other Thoughts: was a little noisy at first few times loaded hard graphic gaming. but fan must of settled or something. cant hear as much. but also i got case open.
Card little hot but o well they really need more open of a case in between the cracks can feel that heat seeping out cracks of card case. Lets hope it don't mean any damage in long run :p

4 out of 5 eggsVery nice for a refurbished

Pros: The card did not run well with my case, because it kept overheating, so I do keep my panel open. When the panel was closed, the card overheated and I got a pink screen on my games when running maxed out.

Cons: The card still runs as good as ever, very nice for a refurbished card.

1 out of 5 eggs

Pros: none

Cons: Dead On Arrival

Other Thoughts: worked for a whopping 10 minutes before it failed completely. No amount of troubleshooting would fix it. Newegg's return policy is horrible and its been over a week since i sent it back. So yeah my entire experience with newegg has been just poor.

2 out of 5 eggsRMA'd

Pros: For the Two days it worked I got great performance out of it. Ran everything on ultra with great framerates

Cons: After two days it crapped out on me and I had to RMA it. Hoping it doesn't take too long even though it has to go all the way to Cali. for RMA.

Other Thoughts: Cost me $15 to ship back....
