5 out of 5 eggsNice for a low profile

Pros: Increased our performance over previous generation full-height board. Fits inside our Small Form Factor PC after removing the bracket.

Cons: No low-profile bracket included, but EVGA and another online retailer sell them through their web sites. I was able to run it without a bracket. That compromises RF emission reduction and could conceivably cause a short someday, but no problems so far.

Other Thoughts: No problems in more than 3 months of use.

5 out of 5 eggsGood Stuff

Pros: Works as advertised. Cheap graphics card that is better than the Intel graphics chipsets, and rivals that of AMD.

Cons: Don't buy this if you're looking for high resolution gaming, but that should be obvious.

Other Thoughts: I've been building systems for 15 years. I'd normally use the AMD FM2 platform for the casual gamer / iinternet and office app user. Lately, I'd even consider Intel since their price/performance ratio has come into line.

Admittedly, I had an extra Gigabyte AMD 970 chipset based motherboard to offload, so when a recent client came looking for an all-in-one PC, this graphics card fit the bill. All-in-one meaning great processing power, solid state drive [for pure performance], and decent graphics capabilities.

This is the card for teenage kids who want to play 3D Facebook games on their 1920x1080 monitor. I bet it would be pretty useless for Battlefield 3 tournaments, etc. on anything remotely high-resolution. But alas, this is not what I bought it for, for the price it serves its purpose and then some. High 4's and low 6's in the Windows experience index; pretty sure the low 6's was in gaming, the other for Windows Aero. Don't put much faith into Microsoft ratings!

3 out of 5 eggsCapable, Quiet low-profile Slice of Fermi - Deprived of a fair chance via DRAM clock crippling

Pros: Another low-end card from EVGA where the same PCB is used for multiple gpu / model configurations - and it is indeed an efficient practice.

Cons: Despite a high core clock of 810mhz (and all twelve I've tested ran fine at 1,12Mhz or (much) higher), this strength is made mostly irrelevant by the use of unnecessarily slow DDR3 dram. Sure these entry level cards are on 64-bit DDR3 mem buses, and that is indeed bad enough, but why has EVGA and several other maufacturers turned to using 500Mhz *quasi-bios-clock-locked* dram yet they continue to put the 600Mhz/1200mhz chips on the lower end geforce 210!? *'lil hack: i you want a usable version of this card, watch the refurb section until you find the 1gig version (its clocked at 700/1400 on the mem. Beware, the 1gig 610 equivalent is NOT. I run the EVGA 1gig Geforce 520s at 1,033core, 777/1554 mem. This is of course at stock voltage (its not programmable naturally). THe dan is fully voltage-regulated and synched to temperature. Dont expect to hear it unless you're running furmark (yes, its identical to the fans on many of their other low end models, including the 12-volt wide-open-driven screamer found on the 8400gs part # 01g-P3-1302
