A great blend of performance and quality, the EVGA GeForce GTX 650 Ti VGA Card brings your gaming to next level with amazing visual brilliance and environmental interaction. Based on the industry-leading 28nm Kepler architecture, it packs power SMX shaders and an abundant amount of memory to deliver a performance punch in the latest games and applications. An array of NVIDIA innovations – such as NVIDIA Surround, NVIDIA Adaptive Vertical Sync, and the new TXAA Anti-Aliasing Mode – offers more than one way to elevate your gaming experience, bringing your entertainment and work to a new level.

  • newegg KEPLER GPU ARCHITECTURE NVIDIA's Kepler GPU architecture has been designed from the ground up not just for maximum performance in the latest DirectX 11 games, but also for optimal performance per watt. The new SMX streaming multiprocessor is twice as efficient as the prior generation, and the new geometry engine draws triangles twice as fast. The result is world-class performance and the highest image quality in an elegant, power-efficient graphics card.
  • newegg NVIDIA ADAPTIVE VERTICAL SYNC Nothing is more distracting than framerate stuttering and screen tearing. The first tends to occur when framerates are low, the second when framerates are high. Adaptive V-Sync is a smarter way to render frames. At high framerates, V-sync is enabled to eliminate tearing; at low framerates, it's disabled to minimize stuttering. It gets rid of distractions so you can get on with gaming.
  • newegg NVIDIA SURROUND WITH UP TO FOUR MONITORS Nothing is as breathtaking as playing your favorite games across three monitors. At 5760 x 1080, the expanded field of view fully engages your peripheral vision and provides for the most immersive experience in racing and flight simulators. Add a fourth display to keep tabs on chat, e-mail, or the web while you are gaming.
  • newegg TXAA ANTI-ALIASING Anti-aliasing helps to smooth out jagged lines in games. Existing techniques like MSAA are effective at removing jagged lines in still images, but struggle with crawling and shimmering artifacts when the player is in motion. TXAA is a new anti-aliasing mode that combines MSAA, temporal filtering, and post processing for the highest edge quality and minimal shimmering during gameplay.
  • newegg NVIDIA 3D VISION READY NVIDIA 3D Vision brings a fully immersive, stereoscopic 3D experience to the PC. A combination of high-tech wireless glasses and advanced software, it transforms hundreds of PC games into full stereoscopic 3D. Get up to two times the monitor and keyboard brightness with NVIDIA 3D LightBoost technology. In addition, you can enjoy 3D movies and 3D digital photographs from 3DVisionLive.com in eye-popping, crystal-clear quality.
  • newegg NVIDIA PHYSX TECHNOLOGY Full support for NVIDIA PhysX technology, enabling a totally new class of physical gaming interaction for a more dynamic and realistic experience with GeForce.

5 out of 5 eggsWorks in a Mac Pro

Pros: No problems with this card installed in an '08 mac pro tower other than no apple startup/boot screen. + Photoshop utilizes advanced graphics processor settings with this card.

Cons: Since this is a PC video card there is no startup screen on the mac. Not a con of the video card, rather just a negative aspect of dropping this in an Apple computer.

Other Thoughts: Just wanted to help out other apple mac pro tower users by letting them know that this video card has been working perfectly fine in an '08 Mac Pro with OS X Mountain Lion and OS X Mavericks. This is a pretty good deal if you are looking for a new video card for your mac and do not want to purchase the more expensive apple versions.

5 out of 5 eggsGood for GPU Rendering

Pros: I've had this for about a month now. It came refurbed, in an EVGA box with no accessories. No surprises there.

I plugged it in and downloaded the latest drivers and the device worked from the get go. No problems.

I upgraded from a 9600 with 96 cuda cores to this one with 768 cores, a major upgrade. These new Kepler Cuda cores (my old card was Fermi technology) run much cooler.

I use Otoy's Octane renderer to visualize my 3D work and the amount of Cuda cores is crucial to getting anything done. The more cores, the faster the rendering. This card renders fast and I get a viewable, usable image in about 30 seconds.

Someday I'll get a Cuda card with 3000 cores and see what this technology really can do. Surprisingly I am doing all this using Windows XP Pro 32 bit with a 4 core 4 Gighz AMD CPU. It's a very stable system.

Cons: Mini HDMI out and that adapter is expensive ($15) is not included (or anything else for that matter). But I knew this going in.

Other Thoughts: I always go with EVGA because of their quality and card software (Precision). Even though this card was refurbished it looks and runs like new. For the price it was a very good deal.

5 out of 5 eggsAwesome card for the price!

Pros: Extremely fast, great graphics, handles everything I can throw at it!

Cons: None that I have noticed.

Other Thoughts: It handles everything I play on the best graphics settings possible: Batman Origins, Crysis 3, Mass Effect, Skyrim, Bioshock Infinite, you name it and I max it out with no issues.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Bang for the Buck

Pros: 768 Cuda cores, Low price, low wattage, beautifully small, great power for lowest wattage,2gb for dual Monitors and high resolution.

Cons: Its Small, compact, Fan spins quietly Wait.. those are pluses.

Other Thoughts: In other words this GTX 650ti is perfect for a gamer with a small box. Some m-ITX case need little stuff and this monster will fit and will out perform most stuff that ever came before it with 768 CUDA CORES.. Okay.. so it only has 128- Bit memory bus. So what. Bet you will never notice it when you are busting heads with a video game.

5 out of 5 eggsGtx650TI Seems Very Good so Far!

Pros: Card came and I was able to install the card and drivers on my own on the first try, thats very good usually this stuff takes me more time, It runs Wow on max settings over 60 fps up to 120 fps wow looks so great, skyrim is amazing at max settings as well. This is my first nvidia card and I think Ill stay with evga from here on out as long as there isnt a drastic change anytime soon in the cards performance,

Cons: Refurbished card came with no DVI or Mini HDMI Cords or Adapters, simply just a box and a card. I had to wait an extra day just to use the card due to not having any DVI cables at home. So thats a major setback I think the refurbished cards should at least include one working display adapter

Other Thoughts: I would reccomend this GPU to anyone who likes to game and is on a budget.

1 out of 5 eggsDo not buy refurbished

Pros: Well, when the first one was working, before it caused my system to lock up, the graphics quality was great.

Cons: Two lemons. The first one would cause my system to lock up after about an hour. This was difficult to diagnose because I also installed a new hard drive and I blamed my problems on it. However, after the interval worsened to about 10 minutes I tried throwing my old GTX 280 in and the problem went away. Put the 650 back in and problem came back.

Returned it for a replacement, a 12% markup on my original purchase.

The new one didn't even get that far. Only on the initial boot screen did it work. Next, the bootloader had bad pixel scattering. Finally, the display was completely garbled and unusable once it booted to the os.

I'm pretty certain that this isn't a driver issue like one reviewer had because the display was fine (for awhile anyway) with the first card and the same drivers are installed. I also don't believe it's an issue with the power supply like another reviewer had because I'm using an 850w psu and I'm not running that much on it.

Other Thoughts: The next replacement might be fine and run with no problems. However, I'm not willing to take that risk because every time I do, it's another shipping charge (and sorry, I'm not paying $50 a year to get service I get for free elsewhere).

Manufacturer Response:

"Hello Travis B,
EVGA's GPUs go through rigorous recertification testing, so this issue is actually rather uncommon. We'd love to help you resolve this issue as quickly as possible if your product is still within it's 30 days of purchase! Feel free to contact our 24/7 support team at 1-888-881-3842 option 1, or by email at newegg@evga.com and we'll do our best to get you set up right away.
Sincerely,
EVGA Customer Support"

1 out of 5 eggsDON'T BUY THIS CARD!!!

Pros: Graphics are great when it works!

Cons: Thing doesn't work half the time! Constantly errors out, device display failures on all days ending in y!

Other Thoughts: This card has driver issues, I tried current back to 309 and had no luck.. it's ridiculous!

Manufacturer Response:

"Hello Kenneth,
Aside from 309, which drivers were you able to test? Also, when updating drivers, did you make sure to select Custom rather than Express in the driver installation, as well as the ""Perform Clean Install"" option on the next screen which removes old drivers prior to installation? There are also other factors that can cause driver errors, so please feel free to contact our 24/7 customer support hotline at 1-888-881-3842 option 1, or by email at newegg@evga.com.
Sincerely,
EVGA Customer Support"

5 out of 5 eggsFirst EVGA card, love it

Pros: At first I thought this card was broken. Nothing would come up on the screen but I noticed that my hard drive would not work either whenever the card was installed. I traced the problem back to a weak power supply. According to specifications my older power supply should have been able to handle it but that was not the case. I ended up having to purchase a new power supply which I was in need of anyway.

The card runs cool. It is small and does not take much room inside the case. You will only receive the card in a box, nothing else. Windows 8 installed the drivers automatically but I visited nVidia’s website to verify anyway. I can play the Sims 3 with the highest settings.

Cons: My Zalman VF1000 cooler would not fit on this card. The mounting holes of the card would not align with those of the cooler. The miss alignment was small so I grabbed my power drill and made the holes slightly larger on the card. This was scary but it worked! I always had the option to leave the stock cooler in place but the original plan was to use my Zalman cooler and I am persistent.

Other Thoughts: Buying a refurbished item can be daunting but mine has been working fine even after some modifications. It looks like the people at the quality control department of EVGA are doing a good work. I would recommend this card to anyone that wants to save money and is not interested in playing the latest games at the highest settings. So far I have only played the Sims 3 with this card. I plan to buy more games later on.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Card!

Pros: It works. It works very well! So for I have been able to enjoy all my games at max settings. My library is old compared to most hard core gamers and includes Command and Conquer 3 Tiberium Wars and Kane's Wrath, Shift Need for Speed, Mirror's Edge, Rome Total War, and Audiosurf. I will be expanding my library much further soon! I don't expect it to max out the newer games but it's a very nice affordable upgrade that can handle a whole lot! Being refurbished I was a little worried but no problems so far. I'll keep you posted if any issues come up. No news is good news here!

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: I was in the market for a much more expensive gpu but due to financial issues I had to readjust my gameplan and considering what my ultimate goals you can imagine how high the bar was set, that said this card still impresses. I haven't experienced a gtx 780 ti yet so for those who have this may not impress but compared to the intel hd 4000 it's like night and day and well worth the $100 I spent to hold me over while I save up for what I really want and it makes the interim much much much less painful and way more enjoyable! If you are building a new rig and would like to have something in their this isn't a bad choice. If you stick with Nvidia I'd go with this or the 560 ti (that price kept going up so I jumped on this refurb). If you look at my build specs you can see this gpu is underkill but it's way better than having nothing. I even put in an 8400 gs from an old rig I built for my girlfriend and that is archaic compared to this (not a surprise to the knowledgeable I
know) b
ut for those who are trying to go 20-50 cheap, I say don't do it. For about $60 more, this card gets you enough to have fun while the lesser tiers just won't be able to handle much at all and if they do it won't be at nearly the settings you'd enjoy as much. I'd consider a great "tweener" card; get some fun in while you are saving for something really big! I say go for it and have fun now too!

Also, I used NVIDIA's shadow play to create the video below. This video was made using this actual card!

5 out of 5 eggs650ti

Pros: Small form factor, powerful for my needs, one 6 pin connector and quiet

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: This looks brand new with the film tape to peel off and everything. Uninstalled old GTS450 drivers, popped this in, updated the drivers and it flies!

The thing I really like about this is that you can take the fan down to 25%, which is totally silent and the card is still in the 30's for temperature. My GTS450 would only go down to 40%.

It's my 4th EVGA card, my first being a GTX260 and I've been happy with all of them. Time will tell if the refurb was worth it.

My MMO ranges from 30fps in zergs to 60 running around solo. Dirt 3 was over 100fps on High with the AA at 4. Ultra settings with the AA at 8 took it down to 45fps. Alll @ 1080.

i5 3470
16gb DDR3
Gigabyte z77n-Wifi
Samsung SSD
