The EVGA GeForce GTX 660 takes NVIDIA Kepler-powered graphics cards to new levels of affordability while retaining class-leading performance and power efficiency, making it a must-have upgrade for today's hottest games. It delivers the ultimate combination of performance, power efficiency, and affordability.

  • newegg Kepler GPU Architecture NVIDIA's Kepler GPU architecture has been designed from the ground up not just for maximum performance in the latest DirectX 11 games, but optimal performance per watt. The new SMX streaming multiprocessor is twice as efficient as the prior generation and the new geometry engine draws triangles twice as fast. The result is world class performance and the highest image quality in an elegant and power efficient graphics card.
  • newegg NVIDIA GPU Boost Up until now, GPUs have operated at a fixed clock speed when playing 3D games, even if they have the potential to run faster. GPU Boost intelligently monitors graphics work load and increases the clock speed whenever possible. The result is that the GPU always performs at its peak and you get the highest framerate possible.
  • newegg NVIDIA Adaptive Vertical Sync Nothing is more distracting than framerate stuttering and screen tearing. The first tends to occur when framerates are low, the second when framerates are high. Adaptive V-Sync is a smarter way to render frames. At high framerates, V-sync is enabled to eliminate tearing, at low frame rates, it's disabled to minimize stuttering. It gets rid of distractions so you can get on with gaming.
  • newegg NVIDIA Surround with Up To Four Monitors Nothing is as breathtaking as playing your favorite games across three monitors. At 5760 x 1080, the expanded field of view fully engages human peripheral vision and provides for the most immersive experience in racing and flight simulators. Add in a fourth display to keep tabs on chat, email or web while you are gaming.
  • newegg TXAA AntiAliasing Antialiasing helps to smooth out jagged lines in games. Existing techniques like MSAA are effective at removing jagged lines in still images but struggle with crawling and shimmering artifacts when the player is in motion. TXAA is a new antialiasing mode that combines MSAA, temporal filtering, and post processing for the highest edge quality and minimal shimmering during gameplay.
  • newegg NVIDIA 3D Vision Ready NVIDIA 3D Vision brings a fully immersive, stereoscopic 3D experience to the PC. A combination of high-tech wireless glasses and advanced software, 3D Vision transforms hundreds of PC games into full stereoscopic 3D. Get up to 2x monitor and keyboard brightness with NVIDIA 3D LightBoost technology. In addition, you can enjoy 3D movies and 3D digital photographs from 3DVisionLive.com in eye popping, crystal-clear quality.

4 out of 5 eggsGTX 660 3GB review

Pros: -great price
-good for 1920x1080p gaming
-can play Rome 2 Total War, Skyrim (unmodded), Arma 3, Arma 2 on ultra or near ultra settings
-3 GB of VRAM
-No problems with the card itself

Cons: -Not suitable for higher than 1920x1080p gaming unless you SLI
-should be even cheaper ($180 instead of $225) with the GTX 760 4gb sitting at $300 (one egg) of course this is not newegg's fault

Other Thoughts: I got this card because I didn't have the money for a GTX 770 4gb, it is good for most games, however modded skyrim with ENB and 1k/2k textures will tax this card, and it can't keep up with texture loads even near the player at times when playing at 1920x1080p, the extra VRAM is worth it for skyrim at this resolution since I regularly hit 2.4-2.7gb of VRAM use.

5 out of 5 eggsTurns any PC into competition for the new consoles

Pros: The addition of this GPU to my stock system made a world of difference. Even games that I could run optimally before are 100x better looking. Two free games on top of that...can't beat that :)

Cons: Nothing really to complain about here

5 out of 5 eggsquality card

Pros: Used this card in my first build with a i5 4670K and 8gb of ram. Runs everything I ask it to with nice results. Maxes out BF3 with no problem and plays BF4 on high too. Can actually max out BF4 with a little bit of hiccuping. Probably will either upgrade or get another and sli it eventually if the price is right but to start out this is an affordable quality card.

Cons: nothing at this point

5 out of 5 eggsPreforms like a BAW5

Pros: Fast. Sexy. Slick. Silent. Works. Black. Very well Packaged. Stress tested, and survived without any troubles at all. Very pleased with this purchase. It seems to handle nearly anything I throw at it! No clue why others need two or up to four of these things. I guess some games may require them at best settings, but I can play solitaire with MAX SETTINGS just fine. :)

Cons: Perhaps a weee but too big for some cases, but bigger is sexier... Some times. In this case, there are NO true cons!

Other Thoughts: Great graphics card, came packaged very nicely with scratch-avoidance plastic sheets over all the smooth finished sides, basically the whole thing. It worked right out of the box, and the software made it just that much better. I'm going to have some fun with this little thing, and it's all you really need for most games! I am pure confidence that it would be able to handle the new GTA5 with very good settings, without breaking sweat.

I have stress tested it with performance testing software at the "brutal" settings, and left it running. No lag, no issues, no over heating, and no shutting down. It took it without a problem.

5 out of 5 eggsaffordable powerhouse

Pros: ]runs skyrim on ultra with lots of mods at 1080p on a 36 inch tv
]runs arkham city maxed out
]evga quality and support
]high end performance at mid range price
]4 monitor support

Cons: The fan can get loud but it's not something i care about.
Frankly, I find the sound of life shortening heat being exhausted to be a comfort.

Other Thoughts: Had to start from scratch after lightning killed my gtx 550ti rig this spring. Budget was tight so I had to save up all summer to rebuild. My original budget called for a $150 card but I held off another month so I could buy this card and am very glad that i did. Wandering Skyrim with an enb mod on ultra is worth the extra hundred and the extra month to fit it in the budget. Blows that 550ti out of the water.

5 out of 5 eggsBeautiful

Pros: I purchased this GPU for 2 reasons:
3 gigs of ram
perfect aesthetics for my build

Increased my Uningine Valley benchmark score by 500 points, for what that's worth. I don't game much, so I can't rattle off statistics about the newest games and the framerates you can get with this.

But. It is a solid GPU from what I've seen. No problems for me whatsoever. It draws little power at idle. So little that my PSU stays on passive cooling until I boot up a video or a game or something. I wasn't expecting that, to be honest.

Cons: Uh

Other Thoughts: Probably my favorite video card available for aesthetics. That means a lot to some folks (you know who you are).

5 out of 5 eggsGet it before it's gone

Pros: +Quiet
+Efficient
+Good size; fits well in mid-tower
+Runs @ 70C~ with fans at 50-55% (cannot hear fan until it reaches 60% or higher)
+3GB of VRam to handle next gen games
+1080p strong performer

Cons: none at this time

Other Thoughts: If you are considering a 2GB 660 instead of a 3GB, please Read:
- all GTX660 and 660ti video cards have 3 memory controllers.
- 660 with 2GB vram is 1.5GB vram @ 144GB/s (512MB per controller), and 512MB vram @ 48GB/s by itself.
- 660 with 3GB vram is 3GB vram @ 144GB/s (1 GB per controller).
