A new member to the GTX 650 family graphics card, the EVGA GeForce GTX 650 Ti BOOST Supercolcked edition pushes graphics performance to a new limit by adding GPU Boost technology always found on high end GeForce GTX GPUs, offering NVIDIA SLI and up to 66% more memory bandwidth, and providing overclocked speed of 1072MHz base clock (the reference model has base clock of 980MHz). GPU boost technology dynamically maximizes clock speeds for up to 1137MHz boost clock.

  • newegg Kepler GPU Architecture NVIDIA's Kepler GPU architecture has been designed from the ground up not just for maximum performance in the latest DirectX 11 games, but optimal performance per watt. The new SMX streaming multiprocessor is twice as efficient as the prior generation and the new geometry engine draws triangles twice as fast. The result is world class performance and the highest image quality in an elegant and power efficient graphics card.
  • newegg NVIDIA GPU Boost Up until now, GPUs have operated at a fixed clock speed when playing 3D games, even if they have the potential to run faster. GPU Boost intelligently monitors graphics work load and increases the clock speed whenever possible. The result is that the GPU always performs at its peak and you get the highest framerate possible.
  • newegg NVIDIA SLI Technology Used by the most demanding gamers worldwide, SLI lets you link up to three GeForce GTX 650 Ti BOOST together for astounding performance. And with NVIDIA’s track record for fast and frequent software updates, you’ll not only get the best performance in existing games, but future games too.
  • newegg NVIDIA Adaptive Vertical Sync Nothing is more distracting than framerate stuttering and screen tearing. The first tends to occur when framerates are low, the second when framerates are high. Adaptive V-Sync is a smarter way to render frames. At high framerates, V-sync is enabled to eliminate tearing, at low frame rates, it's disabled to minimize stuttering. It gets rid of distractions so you can get on with gaming.
  • newegg NVIDIA Surround with Up To Four Monitors Nothing is as breathtaking as playing your favorite games across three monitors. At 5760 x 1080, the expanded field of view fully engages human peripheral vision and provides for the most immersive experience in racing and flight simulators. Add in a fourth display to keep tabs on chat, email or web while you are gaming.
  • newegg TXAA AntiAliasing Antialiasing helps to smooth out jagged lines in games. Existing techniques like MSAA are effective at removing jagged lines in still images but struggle with crawling and shimmering artifacts when the player is in motion. TXAA is a new antialiasing mode that combines MSAA, temporal filtering, and post processing for the highest edge quality and minimal shimmering during gameplay.

5 out of 5 eggsVery satisfied

Pros: performs well with easy install
i love the software that it comes with

Cons: somewhat warmer than other equivalent cards, but no prob if you have good cooling \ ventilation

Other Thoughts: I've owned mine 3 months now and it is a great GPU. I'm mainly using this to run two 23" 1920 x 1080 monitors, mostly for vid editing, which isn't a huge draw on the GPU, and it does the trick no problem. I did try it with Tomb Raider and on Ultra I get about 48 to 50 fps average. I had to turn shadows down only, as it stuttered a little on Ultra but now it runs without a hitch.

My system
FX 6300 OC'd to 4100Mhz
Asus M5A97 mobo
8Gb GSkill Ripjaws
1 SSD and 2 HDD's
Seasonic 620 W
and the above card

5 out of 5 eggsGTX 650 Ti Boost

Pros: The GTX 650 Ti Boost works wonders, and from what I can see it, keeps up with most the games I throw at it. Although I haven't tested any high graphic intense games I'm sure it would keep up with those too.

Cons: I haven't had any trouble with this graphics card so far.

2 out of 5 eggscompatibility Issues

Pros: Great price and great performance with drivers that came on CD, but....

Cons: If i use any other drivers besides the ones that came with the gfx card i get this horrible freeze and robotic sound, which stalls your system and you can't do anything. You can't even ctrl+Alt+del or interrupt it with the power button. This happens randomly when the computer is under low stress. I've tried everything to fix it, new psu, updated bios, 3 diff updates of nvidia drivers, new operating system, water cooling on the cpu. Tried to blame everything but the card but its def the new nvidia drivers and the card can't take them. The worst part is if you take your time registering your product because you were busy fixing it and waiting for updates on drivers you will get no support, no return, no exchange, nothing.

Other Thoughts: This is a must do. If you buy this product you have to register it within 14 days or you will get no support at all. You will also need a receipt of purchase to prove it. You can buy an extended warranty within 90 days. Do NOT try to waste time and fix it. Register it and get a new card.

Manufacturer Response:

4 out of 5 eggsIt's a good temporary card.

Pros: It's a nice card. It was a 1100 3d mark score upgrade from my previous card (5870HD), and was cheap enough to get another year or so out of this computer before I eventually do a big system upgrade. It will be compatible with Nvidia's new G-Sync monitors.

Cons: Its not in the top tier class of video cards. It will probably not be very future proof as i imagine it will struggle with games like Battlefield 4 on the highest settings.

Other Thoughts: I just bought it as a "band-aid" to get a little more life out of my current computer before needing to buy a new system.

5 out of 5 eggswow. just wow

Pros: This card is amazing. Being the entry level into the 600 series, I expected less, but man was I wrong. It's runs games flawlessly near max, GTA IV, Chivalry, Arma2, payday2, you name it, it can run it beautifully.

Cons: Cons, I haven't found any yet. If there will ever be any.

Other Thoughts: This card is a steal for this price. Grab it now!!

5 out of 5 eggsBackward Compatible with PCI-E x16 Slots

Pros: Works with the older motherboard (EVGA 122-CK-NF-68-A1) on the family computer (dated, but still decent enough for most stuff).

Install was effortless

It's EVGA

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: Had to replace the existing EVGA GeForce 8800 GT (which was still working perfectly) to enable playing newer games requiring Direct X 11. New card plays Crysis 3 no problem, but obviously can't crank settings due to limitations of the rest of this older system.

I have the 2gb version of this card in a more recent build with Z77 board, ivy bridge i5 3570k, etc and it takes everything I've thrown at it..
