Hydro Copper Thermal Solution

Full-Cover Design
A full-cover design means a complete end to end block. No tricks here. This ensures the card does not bend, provides ideal thermal transfer for the entire card, and looks awesome!
Chrome-plated C110 copper
Copper is the ideal material for thermal transfer. We use specialized copper that helps transfer thermals effectively, and is designed in a way to minimize weight.
0.25mm x 0.35mm thin-pin matrix
These pins help transfer heat from the GPU to the liquid, allowing for the ultimate performance in GPU cooling!
Glowing EVGA Logo
Glowing EVGA logo looks great, and is supported by EVGA software that allows fine tuning of the LED.
Swappable Inlet/Outlet
Up to six different barb configurations gives you the utmost in flexibility for routing your tubing.
Custom Compression Fittings
Includes both 3/8" and 1/2" compression fittings. No hose clamps required.

EVGA GeForce GTX 780 Academy

The new Kepler SMX streaming multiprocessor is twice as efficient as the prior generation, and the new geometry engine draws triangles twice as fast. The result is world-class performance and the highest image quality in an elegant, power-efficient graphics card.
NVIDIA GPU Boost Technology 2.0
Dynamically maximizes clock speeds to push performance to new levels and bring out the best in every game. Boost 2.0 allows complete control over Temperature Target and Power Target, allowing a new way to customized your overclock. Also, with the new EVGA Precision X, you can increase the voltage for maximum overclock!
Anti-aliasing smoothes out jagged edges but can be demanding on framerates. FXAA is a new antialiasing technology that produces beautiful, smooth lines with minimal performance impact. And with Kepler-based GPUs, you’ll be able to enable FXAA in hundreds of game titles through the NVIDIA Control Panel.
An in-game option that combines MSAA, temporal filtering, and post processing for even higher visual fidelity. Get the image quality of 8X MSAA with the performance hit of only 2X MSAA. This means a smoother gaming experience without the loss of FPS normally associated with this level of eye candy.
NVIDIA Adaptive Vertical Sync
Nothing is more distracting than framerate stuttering and screen tearing. The first tends to occur when framerates are low, the second when framerates are high. Adaptive V-Sync is a smarter way to render frames. At high framerates, V-Sync is enabled to eliminate tearing; at low frame rates, it’s disabled to minimize stuttering. It gets rid of distractions so you can get on with gaming.
Frame Rate Target
Set a target Frame Rate with EVGA Precision X, and your card will automatically adjust the power/performance to meet that target. This feature delivers the ultimate in efficient gaming.
NVIDIA 3D Vision Surround
Imagine your gaming real estate across three displays in full HD 3D for a completely immersive gaming experience. With the EVGA GeForce GTX 780, you can use award-winning NVIDIA 3D Vision technology to build the world’s first multi-display 3D gaming experience on your PC. Additionally, the GeForce GTX 780 supports an accessory display for the ultimate gaming experience!
PCI Express 3.0
Offers double the bandwidth of PCI Express 2.0, for the highest data transfer speeds to allow for maximum performance in bandwidth-hungry games and 3D applications. The EVGA GeForce GTX 780 is still backwards compatible with all existing PCI Express motherboards.
Attention to Quality
EVGA’s attention to quality is worth noting, from performance to appearance, even down to the packaging contents and protection. EVGA cards ship with cover caps over the critical components, eliminating worries about any dust build-up or damage that could occur.
Pixel Clock Control
Use EVGA Precision X to “overclock” your refresh rate. With the latest EVGA Precision X, you can now increase your pixel clock! This allows for increased refresh rates on select monitors, meaning smoother gameplay and reduced screen tearing!

4 out of 5 eggsAWESOME

Pros: kicks booty on everything!, GPU boost works like a charm, easy to add into my existing water loop in place of an old GTX580 hydro copper

Cons: no viewing window to check water flow in the block of the GPU cooler, nothing else.

3 out of 5 eggsFrustratingly Dissapointed

Pros: Liquid cooling pre-installed and ready to boot. Extremely fast, in SLI crushes games. I like the aesthetics of the block. Backplates are required are a necessity so the fact that it has one is fantastic.

Cons: Materials of the block. Go back and look at 580 hydro copper from evga and look at the ports for fittings. Thats right solid metal. They should be! 780 ports are a black plastic. Liquid cooling fittings have fine threads and in some instances they don't thread deep either. Despite my best efforts to avoid this a single fitting did indeed cross thread causing irreparable damage. It's possible it was faulty from the start but it cannot be said for sure. Since this could be contested warranty would never touch this. So here I am forced to use silicone and permanently affix a fitting to this beautiful piece of hardware. The pricing of this now to a 580 then is basically if not identical. Why use an inferior material!?!?!

Other Thoughts: Just frustrated.

5 out of 5 eggsFast and Quiet (duh...)

Pros: Upgraded from a pair of EVGA 480 GTX Superclocked cards in SLi. This is my first liquid-cooled setup.

Installation was a breeze, no issues with the coolant plugs or installing my 306 degree 1/4" fittings. With only a 280mm radiator, I'm cooling my 3570K @ 4GHz and haven't even tried to overclock this beast. I even need to review it? The bandwidth lane is considerably larger than that of the 770, so I haven't even come close to hitting peak performance. Temps stay around a solid 25C and hit about 30C under load. Chews up Cinebench, UnEngine and Vantage benchmarks. Easily plays every game I have a max settings without breaking a sweat.

I've never had lighting in my system but I do like the way "EVGA" lights up on the OEM waterblock. Nice touch to an awesome piece of hardware.

EVGA GTX 780 Hydro Copper
16GB Corsair Dominator Professional @ 1833GHz
Asus Sabertooth Z77

Corsair C300 256GB SSD

Cons: None so far.

5 out of 5 eggsHappy with the card, upset with myself for not waiting

Pros: Benchmarks well and overclocks decently to outpace the Titan. Can bump the voltage to 1.2v with Precision X and still see temperatures barely hitting mid 30s.

Cons: The Precision X utility has evolved in the years since I've used it last. Overclocking is based on power limits and adding to the default current clock depending on the voltage output. The result means that if I'm doing light activity that kicks the card up to moderate speeds/moderate voltage such as watching youtube the card can freak out and crash the computer, even though it's 100% stable in stress tests with no artifacts. There needs to be a way to do two power states - low and high. The fluctuation in between with random voltages and frequencies makes the card glitch out, specifically the memory, under low loads.

Other Thoughts: Technology is a funny thing about timing your purchase. Two weeks after I purchased this beast, it dropped $100 in price and they tacked on a 3 free game bundle. I might try to send an e-mail to EVGA customer service to see if they can throw me a bone and at least give me the free games. Wouldn't hurt to try.

5 out of 5 eggsToo Strong

Pros: Wow. I literally max out the settings in every game and the card won't even hit 100%. I've also never seen it above 34 C at load. I haven't overclocked it yet because there is no point. Maybe when some next-gen games come out.

Cons: As someone else mentioned. When tightening the clamps I scratched the metal a bit and you can see the silver through it. I wasn't being overly difficult on it and even tried putting cloth between the wrench and clamp.

Other Thoughts: I bought it when it came out and didn't get a free game. Won't take off an egg but it makes me sad I got punished for being one of the first to buy it.

5 out of 5 eggsVery nice

Pros: This card is insane compared to my old gtx 480 hydro coppers. Hit a peak of 37C when paired with a Eheim HPPS pump and a 120x3 radiator. Hit 1350 so far without any manual voltage increase, nice.

Cons: The cards are enormous now, you can't utilize the in-between x8 slots on your mobo like on the old hydro coppers. The cards are mostly larger in thickness and in height off the slot, so they may hit the side panels of many towers. These are best installed on a horizontal tech bench, since the size won't matter, and the massive weight of them won't tip your tower over like the dinosaur ribs on the Flintstones' car lol. Seriously these feel just like a brick...

Other Thoughts: Video cards with a preinstalled full-coverage water block is the best thing since sliced bread!

5 out of 5 eggsPower Overwhelming

Pros: Fast. Cold. Hard.
This is my first EVGA video card purchase. Well done EVGA. I usually go with ASUS for their after market thermal design. This card installs very easily with minor knowledge of open loop water cooling. The base GPU clock on this card is much higher than the reference card. base clock at 980 is very smooth by itself. With the turbo boost and gpu boost 2.0 my card sees 1097 without breaking 34C. That means doing absolutely nothing to this card. and getting a sick auto overclock. With the precision X utility I can easily achieve 1200mhz.
This card on average will out perform the reference version of the card by 15 percent. If all holds up I cant wait to see what the lifespan on this cool card will be.

Cons: Really wish this card had either 4gb or 6gb of memory.

Careful to make sure fittings are completely sealed. Easy spot fixed immediately.
Would like more control over the card voltage. The GPU boost 2.0 utility is hindering this version of the card a little because I seem to notice that since my thermal benchmark is so low it will only take me to a certain point. I would like if it was a little more Voltage target and temperature target oriented simultaneously.

4 out of 5 eggsAwesome Card

Pros: Awesome design and looks really nice. Easy to install and get going if you already have the water cooling setup. I ran Unigine Valley and the card boosts to 1320 MHz with insane score for Extreme HD setup.

Cons: I am taking one egg off because I found one of the fittings and sealing cap were badly scratched that you can see the original colour of the metal. I think someone did a poor job with QC on this part. I really dislike that my new card has some parts that are heavily deprived of their black colour.

Other Thoughts: Be prepared to be shocked and awed. This card rocks and I am going to add another once they have stock again. Keep up the good work.

4 out of 5 eggsWarning Gigabyte Mobo useers

Pros: The card is fast, and stays about 28C on Idle and doesnt get above 45C on full load.

Cons: Warning to the Gigabyte Motherboard users, the graphics card Bios locks up the motherboards bios up. As of right now there is no fix for it, im not sure if this affects other motherboards but this is just a warning. Will give 5 eggs when this gets fixed
