A great blend of performance and quality, the EVGA GeForce GTX 650 Ti VGA Card brings your gaming to next level with amazing visual brilliance and environmental interaction. Based on the industry-leading 28nm Kepler architecture, the EVGA GeForce GTX 650 Ti packs power SMX shaders and abundant amount of memory to deliver a performance punch in the latest games and applications. An array of NVIDIA innovations – such as NVIDIA Surround, NVIDIA Adaptive Vertical Sync, and the new TXAA Anti-Aliasing Mode – offers more than one way to elevate your gaming experience, bringing your entertainment and work to a new level like never before.

  • newegg KEPLER GPU ARCHITECTURE NVIDIA's Kepler GPU architecture has been designed from the ground up not just for maximum performance in the latest DirectX 11 games, but also for optimal performance per watt. The new SMX streaming multiprocessor is twice as efficient as the prior generation, and the new geometry engine draws triangles twice as fast. The result is world class performance and the highest image quality in an elegant and power efficient graphics card.
  • newegg NVIDIA ADAPTIVE VERTICAL SYNC Nothing is more distracting than framerate stuttering and screen tearing. The first tends to occur when framerates are low, the second when framerates are high. Adaptive V-Sync is a smarter way to render frames. At high framerates, V-sync is enabled to eliminate tearing; at low framerates, it's disabled to minimize stuttering. It gets rid of distractions so you can get on with gaming.
  • newegg NVIDIA SURROUND WITH UP TO FOUR MONITORS Nothing is as breathtaking as playing your favorite games across three monitors. At 5760 x 1080, the expanded field of view fully engages your peripheral vision and provides for the most immersive experience in racing and flight simulators. Add a fourth display to keep tabs on chat, email, or the web while you are gaming.
  • newegg TXAA ANTI-ALIASING Anti-aliasing helps to smooth out jagged lines in games. Existing techniques like MSAA are effective at removing jagged lines in still images, but struggle with crawling and shimmering artifacts when the player is in motion. TXAA is a new anti-aliasing mode that combines MSAA, temporal filtering, and post processing for the highest edge quality and minimal shimmering during gameplay.
  • newegg NVIDIA 3D VISION READY NVIDIA 3D Vision brings a fully immersive, stereoscopic 3D experience to the PC. A combination of high-tech wireless glasses and advanced software, 3D Vision transforms hundreds of PC games into full stereoscopic 3D. Get up to two times the monitor and keyboard brightness with NVIDIA 3D LightBoost technology. In addition, you can enjoy 3D movies and 3D digital photographs from 3DVisionLive.com in eye popping, crystal-clear quality.
  • newegg NVIDIA PHYSX TECHNOLOGY Full support for NVIDIA PhysX technology, enabling a totally new class of physical gaming interaction for a more dynamic and realistic experience with GeForce.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Card, Needs Better Cooling

Pros: The 650 Ti SSC is extremely affordable, comes clocked to 1071 mhz and EVGA's Precision software makes overclocking a cinch. The card is more aesthetically pleasing than most I've dealt with, which isn't a benefit to those of us who run it in a case, but if you use a bench it's better than staring at more heatsinks and microresistors. Other than that this card is very quiet when running games like FO3, ESV, Civ5, Minecraft, FC3 and WoW in full HD. It's well mated to an i3 or a lower end i5, but I run it along side a G3258, great combo for a cheap, yet powerful rig I don't have to worry about when moving it around and breaking an expensive setup or something.

Cons: Not much thermal headroom in this card, 3Dmark11 causes it to jump right up to 80C, it's a shame since the x 16 software sets you up for an easy 10% OC. The heat might just be an issue with how my case fans are set up, any cool air you can get to the card will probably help. 1 GB of ram suffices but it leaves a little to be desired given the performance the 768 Cuda Cores can put out. It would have been nice to be able to SLI two together to get the benefit of doubling the RAM and the power, however that functionality is reserved for the 650 Ti Boost, which already has 2 gigs. Another, much smaller issues was the HDMI mini, I understand there would have been packaging problems with a full HDMI but the HDMI mini output placement doesn't work well with a lot of adapters either.

Other Thoughts: I didn't take off any eggs since I knew what I was getting into when I purchased this card and it performed exactly how I thought it would and better in some cases. Yes, the heat is an issue, but I'm still not convinced that it isn't my own fault. If you're looking for a good, affordable card with solid performance and don't need "Ultra-high" graphics settings in the latest and greatest games, this is a great little card to have.

1 out of 5 eggsMaybe the Regular Model Works, but the Refurb Is a Total Dice Roll

Pros: None of which I am immediately aware. I guess it's kind of short, which makes it easy to fit into a case.

Cons: Somehow managed to fry a 500 watt power supply, which is almost impressive.

Other Thoughts: The video card was intended as an upgrade to an existing HTPC which has been working without fail since August of 2011. The power supply in the case was 500 watts, which should have been adequate to the power needs of the new card. However, after installing the card, I attempted to power the PC on only to be met with a hideous smell and smoke pouring from the power supply. I cannot believe this failure was a coincidence. So now I'll be dropping money on a new card (preferably from a different manufacturer) *and* a new power supply.

5 out of 5 eggsWish I bought more of them.

Pros: - Very Small
- Much better performance than expected.
- Very efficient
- Good value.
- Good construction.
- Surprisingly low temps

Cons: - Did not come with a mini-HDMI to HDMI adapter.

Other Thoughts: I paid $95 for this card, and there is nothing else at that price that can come close to this thing. Even the Open Box deals.

I was expecting this card to perform roughly on-par with something like a GTX 560 SE or HD 7770.
It doesn't.
It outperforms them by a HUGE margin.

With it's ridiculously high factory overclock, this thing puts down some impressive performance numbers:

----------------------- 3Dmark 11 ------------------------
Version 1.05. Performance preset.
(i3 3220 and 8GB RAM 1600mhz 8-8-8-24-1t)
Best score:
p5151. (With +100 on the core and +200 on the RAM)
Without any overclocking it scored p4823.

As a point of comparison, that same computer only scored p2702 with a HD 6770 1GB.

----------------- Windows Experience Index ---------------
2d = 7.6
3d = 7.6

It can play Battlefield 3 on Ultra @ 50fps minimum and over 60fps average.
(My BF3 settings:
1920x1080, 2x MSAA, max field of view, and motion blur off. Everything else at maximum.)

It is at least equal to a HD 6950 or GTX 560ti, and it comes very close to the performance of a HD 7850 or GTX 660.

To get the most out of this card, overclock the memory as much as possible, as it will bottleneck at high resolutions and/or high levels of AA.

5 out of 5 eggsWow 94.99 3K 3dmark it don't get any better for the money

Pros: Excellent 3D mark for a sub 100 dollar card its better than the 7750,7770 and on par with the 7790 , 110 watts doesn't require a whole lot of watts a corsair 430 watt builders should run it just fine

Cons: none at this price its a gem

Other Thoughts: well i bought 1st one for 119 on here and even at that price it wasn't a bad deal , the second one i bought on here for 95 and it just rocks , i'm running it on a Phenom II x4 965 and its blazing fast on my mid/high demand games , im getting solid framerates on everything ive thrown at it so far, Passmark 8 bench test has its 3d mark at 3049 , thats not much less than a 560ti from previous gen and it uses almost double the watts and you can't find any under 125 dollars. For sure this card is a gem even my good buys on GTX 460 models don't compare to the bargain ive got on this baby

2 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Good card. Right for the money.

Cons: Card only. It is listed in the details to come with driver disk, adapters, as well as user guide. None of these came with it.

Other Thoughts: Upon calling newegg customer service, I was informed that this product is not actually supposed to come with those items. Fortunately newegg issued a small refund to cover the cost of any adapters I my need to purchase. Thank you newegg. Disappointed in EVGA for providing false information about a product.

Manufacturer Response:

Hello,

I apologize for this misscommunication. We are currently working with Newegg to have this information corrected on their site.

Thank you,
Brandon B
