The EVGA GeForce GTX 760 marks an evolution in gaming performance: an insanely fast, smooth, and whisper-quiet experience every time. The powerful NVIDIA Kepler GPU GTX 760 of 1152 cores, and 2GB of GDDR5 graphics memory, work side by side to deliver awesome gaming performance. NVIDIA GPU Boost 2.0 technology pushes PC performance to new levels with precise controls. And equipped with an EVGA ACX cooler, the EVGA GeForce GTX 760 provides you with an extremely quiet and reliable gaming experience.

  • newegg EVGA ACX Cooler With a 40% increase in heatsink volume, the EVGA ACX is more efficient at dissipating heat, allowing for 15% lower GPU temperatures. A reinforcement baseplate maintains a straight PCB, and helps lower mosfet temperatures by 7% and memory by 15%. Even the fan blades are of the highest quality: with a 700% increase in strength, and 25% lower weight when compared to competitors. This makes the fans 20% more efficient by requiring lower power levels. EVGA is also using double ball bearing fans which offer a 12 year lifespan, four times longer when compared to competitors!
  • newegg Kepler GPU Architecture NVIDIA's Kepler GPU architecture has been designed from the ground up not only for maximum performance in the latest DirectX 11 games, but also for optimal performance per watt. The new SMX streaming multiprocessor is twice as efficient as the prior generation, and the new geometry engine draws triangles twice as fast. The result is world-class performance and the highest image quality in an elegant, power-efficient graphics card.
  • newegg NVIDIA GPU Boost 2.0 This brand-new technology allows gamers to push PC performance to the maximum with precise controls. GPU Boost 2.0 intelligently monitors work with advanced controls – like GPU temperature target, overclocking, and overvoltage – to ensure the GPU works at the ultimate performance.
  • newegg NVIDIA PhysX Technology Full support for NVIDIA PhysX technology, which enables a new class of physical gaming interaction for a more dynamic GeForce experience.
  • newegg NVIDIA Adaptive Vertical Sync Nothing is more distracting than framerate stuttering and screen tearing. The first tends to occur when framerates are low, the second when framerates are high. Adaptive V-Sync is a smarter way to render frames. At high framerates, V-sync is enabled to eliminate tearing; at low framerates, it's disabled to minimize stuttering. It gets rid of distractions so you can get on with gaming.
  • newegg NVIDIA Surround with Up to Four Monitors Nothing is as breathtaking as playing your favorite games across three monitors. At 5760 x 1080, the expanded field of view fully engages your peripheral vision and provides for the most immersive experience in racing and flight simulators. Add a fourth display to keep tabs on chat, email, or web while you are gaming.

5 out of 5 eggsNice card

Pros: Very nice card, works well and does what it's supposed to.
Not too loud as any other video card when under load. Not under load it's quiet.
Running for about 8 months now, still going.
EVGA has pretty good support to extend warranty coverage if you register the product and pay a little extra.

Cons: on a few games I get a weird hum from the video card....but only certain games from steam, CitiesXL Platinum and Lego Batman....weird. I really don't play them, so whatever. just thought it was weird it happens.

Other Thoughts: Got this card for a HTPC, works great, plays Blurays, streams video smoothly, plays most games I've put on it...but I don't really play top of the line games. Tomb raider and SKyrim look great though, almost max settings. Tomb Raider, Lara's hair goes wild if it's maxed...nots sure what that is about, but one less and it's fine. FF14 ARR plays fine on this as well.
Paired Intel i5 Quad Core 4570S and a EVGA 500w PSU
Works great.

5 out of 5 eggsGTX 760 GPU

Pros: Overall performance is great. Good mid/upper range GPU for the money.

Cons: None at the moment.

Other Thoughts: Used this GPU in my first gaming build. I ordered the parts and built 2 identical gaming rigs so I needed a GPU that would perform and be economical...I found it in the GTX 760.

5 out of 5 eggsSolid card

Pros: I've been installing GPU cards in custom rigs since Matrox and 3DFX were still in the game and EVGA makes the best cards I've used for the past several years. I wasn't looking for anything too high end as I just plan to play at 1080p on a single monitor which this card does very well. It runs everything at max settings and doesn't even get that loud in the small case that I have it in.

Cons: None so far.

5 out of 5 eggsBam!

Pros: This is my first GPU purchase in about 9 years.

It's... too fast to handle. I had no idea that games could look so good and still run at 60fps+.

People may make the analogy that they've upgraded from an econo car to a Ferrari. From my perspective, this is more like attaching a solid rocket booster to the back of your Geo Metro.

Cons: See below.

Other Thoughts: I made this comment on my other parts as well:

Computer parts are freaking cheesy these days. The z97 mobo flexes when you plug things in, the GTX 760 bends downward on one side due to its own weight, the stock Intel cooler is held on my flimsy plastic clips, the case is slightly bowed inward due to a manufacturing defect, and the modular PSU came with bent pins. All of the parts came from reputable manufacturers.

9 years ago, I spent half as much on a budget build and had much higher confidence in the durability of the parts. It seems as though durability has been reduced across the board for new products. With this new build, I’d be afraid to bump the side of the case.

3 out of 5 eggsOK I guess But . .

Pros: Did half of what I wanted, which was to provide resolution for my new Samsung 4K Monitor. But, (See cons)

Cons: Was not exactly a breeze installing, but not the worst.
Biggest problem, and I am 98% sure it is the EVGA Software that is at fault and not my Samsung Syncmaster TA350. It has resolution of somewhere around 1280 X 720 or worse, even though it is set at 1920 X 1080. The EVGA Tech was friendly and helpful, and suggested the problem is with settings on the Syncmaster, but there are no more, it is at 1920 X 1080, and it worked perfectly with my previous video card at that setting with my new monitor set to 2560 X 1440, the max for that old card, I have exhausted all the settings on the Nvidia control panel with the new software to no avail.

Other Thoughts: After all this screwing around and installing, my internet and router went nuts, have spent a couple days getting that all straightened around. Could be a coincidence, but just added to the aggravation. Now I have my 4K monitor set to 2560 X 1440, the same as with my previous card, so the resolution on my aux. monitor is more normal.
