Your gaming will not be the same with EVGA 03G-P4-2782-KR graphics card.

Based on the latest evolution of NVIDIA GPU, the GeForce GTX 780, this card is a landmark in gaming performance - an insanely fast, smooth, and whisper-quiet experience. The massively powerful NVIDIA Kepler GPU features 2304 CUDA Cores - 50% more than its predecessor. Complete with 3GB of high-speed GDDR5 memory and NVIDIA GPU Boost 2.0 technology, this card gives you the performance capability you need to game at extreme settings. This card also introduces a brand-new thermal solution – the EVGA ACX cooler – which delivers enhanced cooling capability at a reduced noise level, as well as a longer fan lifespan. Beyond raw performance, the GeForce GTX 780 is perfectly tuned to today’s most advanced gaming technologies, with GeForce Experience for one-click driver and setting optimization, and NVIDIA PhysX and TXAA for smooth, sharp graphics.

  • newegg EVGA ACX Cooler EVGA is introducing a brand-new cooling design, the EVGA ACX Cooler. This revolutionary double ball bearing design offers a 40% increase in heatsink volume, 15% average lower GPU and memory temperatures, and double ball bearing fans with an average lifespan of 12 years. This is a four-times longer lifespan versus competitors' sleeve-bearing fans! In addition, this fan is silent: in fact it is 15% quieter on average!
  • newegg NVIDIA GPU Boost 2.0 This brand-new technology allows gamers to push PC performance to the maximum with precise controls. GPU Boost 2.0 intelligently monitors work – with advanced controls like GPU temperature target, overclocking, and overvoltage – to ensure the GPU works at the ultimate performance.
  • newegg NVIDIA Adaptive Vertical Sync Nothing is more distracting than framerate stuttering and screen tearing. The first tends to occur when framerates are low, the second when framerates are high. Adaptive V-Sync is a smarter way to render frames. At high framerates, V-sync is enabled to eliminate tearing; at low framerates, it's disabled to minimize stuttering. It gets rid of distractions so you can get on with gaming.
  • newegg NVIDIA Surround with up to Four Monitors Nothing is as breathtaking as playing your favorite games across three monitors. At 5760 x 1080, the expanded field of view fully engages your peripheral vision and provides for the most immersive experience in racing and flight simulators. Add a fourth display to keep tabs on chat, email, or web while you are gaming.
  • newegg TXAA AntiAliasing Antialiasing helps to smooth out jagged lines in games. Existing techniques like MSAA are effective at removing jagged lines in still images, but struggle with crawling and shimmering artifacts when the player is in motion. TXAA is a new anti-aliasing mode that combines MSAA, temporal filtering, and post processing for the highest edge quality and minimal shimmering during gameplay.
  • newegg NVIDIA PhysX Technology Full support for NVIDIA PhysX technology, enabling a totally new class of physical gaming interaction for a more dynamic and realistic experience with GeForce.

2 out of 5 eggsPerformed well for one year and died.

Pros: - In addition to the other parts in my PC I was able to run most games on high/ultra settings
- Quiet card
- Fits in a mini - ITX case

Cons: - One year of life seems quite short for such an (at the time) expensive card.

Other Thoughts: - Had the card not failed, I would recommend it. I'm sure it's one of the few and all of the EVGA cards I've owned over the years have been great. This one was just the short straw.

Manufacturer Response:

5 out of 5 eggsHumbling

Pros: Powerful, Quiet & Cool. I've been a loyal EVGA customer with owning a 7800 GT, 8800 GTS, GTX 470 and now this GTX 780. I've made the GTX 470 last 4 years and was enjoying BF4 at 45-60fps on high settings. As much I loved the card, it was loud, hot and aging compared what's coming into the market. Like many I was on the fence waiting for the 8 series, but at this price:performance, I am not looking back.

The install was a breeze and the ACX fans are doing swell thus far. Benchmarked my library and its a strange feeling TRYING to get games to go below 60fps...Like previous reviews, it runs like butter, it really does.

I also must give kudos to the construction quality and build of the card itself. It's solid, yet lighter than my GTX 470 and slimmer despite the extra inch.

Temps at idle are 31c with load hitting 51c in a room with no AC. I have great air flow in my tempest EVO, but my GTX 470 was idle at 50c and 80c under load.

Cons: Rate of technical changes...that's with everything. I'm hoping this will be a good companion for the next 4 years like my GTX 470 was. I overclocked the heck out of that thing to get performance at the end, I'll keep this GTX 780 at stock settings until something demanding calls for it way down the road.

Other Thoughts: Can't go wrong, though I see I purchase this just before it was out of stock, whew!

1 out of 5 eggsBad Service

Pros: N/A

Cons: I had to send the card back for an RMA. Not a big deal I'll get another one and move on. Instead since the card was out of stock I got a refund. No big deal I can just purchase another one once in stock. The only catch is I was refunded all but 89.99 for the game that came with the card which I could have purchased on its own for 59.99 on this site.

Other Thoughts: I really don't find myself willing to step out and by something else from this site for my online shopping. Its a shame because I typically get decent service but trying to get this resolved is like a trip to the dentist.

5 out of 5 eggsGlad i got it

Pros: Used in my first build.

Haven't had an issue with it yet.
Runs everything at Ultra with no issues. Temp has been around 48C under load and using only about 50% processing so far according to Afterburner.

Cons: None.
Just be aware the ACX version does not have LED lighting even though it comes with software that allows adjustment on the LEDs if you have an LED GPU.

5 out of 5 eggsThis card screams!

Pros: This card is insanely fast. EVGA has consistently made superior products and this is no exception. Overclocking is easy and foolproof.

Cons: None that I can think of

Other Thoughts: For kicks I set up this build with two of these in SLI on an ASUS P9X79 Pro / i7-4930k / 32gb 2133mhz memory. These cards scored off the chart.

5 out of 5 eggsAwesome.

Pros: It's a Titan for $500.
I EASILY overclocked my GTX 780 far beyond what a stock Titan will do without having to touch voltages at all. I'm running 1200MHz core and 7GHz memory clock without adjusting power at all. Never gets hotter than 60C. ACX fans are very quiet. I can play every game I have at maxed ultra 1440p with 60+ FPS (except Crysis 3, and strangely, Battlefield 4). Very sturdy PCB, runs every game I have flawlessly, comes with EVGA's winning customer support, and that 3 year warranty. 3GB of VRAM is also way more than enough to accommodate my 2560x1440p monitor. I rarely use half of my VRAM, if even close to that.

Cons: I don't have two of them.

Other Thoughts: I'm probably going to be getting another one of these bad boys for SLI and 120FPS.

Absolutely perfect, going to pick up another one soon and put them both under water, my CPU sits at 35C on max with aporetty solid 1ghz overclock.
