The EVGA GeForce GTX 780 Classified Edition Graphics Card combines extraordinary power, advanced control features, and game-changing thermal and acoustic capability to provide an entirely new class of graphics performance. The Powerful NVIDIA Kepler GPU GTX 780 of 2304 cores and 3GB of GDDR5 graphics memory all work side by side to deliver awesome gaming performance. NVIDIA GPU Boost 2.0 technology pushes PC performance to new levels with precise controls. Enable massive firepower with NVIDIA SLI technology, and play games with temperature in check with EVGA ACX Cooler.

  • newegg EVGA ACX Cooler With a 40% increase in heatsink volume, the EVGA ACX is more efficient at dissipating heat, allowing for 15% lower GPU temperatures. A reinforcement baseplate maintains a straight PCB, and helps lower mosfet temperatures by 7% and memory by 15%. Even the fan blades are of the highest quality, with a 700% increase in strength, and 25% lower weight when compared to competitors. This makes the fans 20% more efficient by requiring lower power levels. EVGA is also using double ball bearing fans, which offer a 12-year lifespan, four times longer when compared to competitors!
  • newegg Kepler GPU Architecture NVIDIA's Kepler GPU architecture has been designed from the ground up not just for maximum performance in the latest DirectX 11 games, but also for optimal performance per watt. The new SMX streaming multiprocessor is twice as efficient as the prior generation, and the new geometry engine draws triangles twice as fast. The result is world-class performance and the highest image quality in an elegant, power-efficient graphics card.
  • newegg NVIDIA GPU Boost 2.0 This brand-new technology allows gamers to push PC performance to the maximum with precise controls. GPU Boost 2.0 intelligently monitors work with advanced controls – like GPU temperature target, overclocking, and overvoltage – to ensure the GPU works at the ultimate performance.
  • newegg NVIDIA Adaptive Vertical Sync Nothing is more distracting than framerate stuttering and screen tearing. The first tends to occur when framerates are low, the second when framerates are high. Adaptive V-Sync is a smarter way to render frames. At high framerates, V-sync is enabled to eliminate tearing; at low framerates, it's disabled to minimize stuttering. It gets rid of distractions so you can get on with gaming.
  • newegg NVIDIA Surround with up to Four Monitors Nothing is as breathtaking as playing your favorite games across three monitors. At 5760 x 1080, the expanded field of view fully engages your peripheral vision and provides for the most immersive experience in racing and flight simulators. Add a fourth display to keep tabs on chat, email or web while you are gaming.
  • newegg TXAA AntiAliasing Anti-aliasing helps to smooth out jagged lines in games. Existing techniques like MSAA are effective at removing jagged lines in still images, but struggle with crawling and shimmering artifacts when the player is in motion. TXAA is a new anti-aliasing mode that combines MSAA, temporal filtering, and post processing for the highest edge quality and minimal shimmering during gameplay.

4 out of 5 eggsPretty Good

Pros: This card performs great while at the same time is very power efficient and cool. The factory overclock is very nice, and can give a sizable FPS increase over a reference GTX 780. Guru3D has an article comparing this card with just the factory overclock and a reference GTX 780.

Cons: The manufacturer for the memory chips in my card was Hynix. Some other people have been getting Elpida. Unfortunately EVGA has been using memory manufacturers other than Samsung for a lot of these cards. The cards with Samsung memory have a higher chance of being able to overclock better.

The card dimensions are also wrong. I measured it and it was 11.2" long and 5" wide.

4 out of 5 eggsit's 11.2 inches long (282mm)

Pros: Same thing most others have said. Fairly attractive design and it's pretty rigid. Mine are mounted on a horizontal MB, so I can't speak to sag.

Cons: Two of these cards cost more than my first three cars combined. I'm a little bit disappointed with how loud the fans get when they ramp up.

Other Thoughts: Posting mainly because the Newegg specifications tab shows length as 10.5". I suppose I should have verified elsewhere, but I didn't. As a result, I had to remove a radiator shroud so that they fit. That was uncool because I had some spiffy LEDs mounted inside the shroud.

I also don't understand why there are white LEDs on the top edge of the PCB. It's as if the original PCB design meant for the card to utilize a more traditional fan shroud, allowing a backlit EVGA or GeForce logo.

5 out of 5 eggsGTX 780 Cla$$ified

Pros: - Looks brilliant!
- Beast of a card
- LED's on the side of the card are a nice touch
- Runs max settings on ALL games ($hould for the price)
- Packaging looked very professional

Cons: - Gets hot (I average 75c on BF4 with everything maxed
- Fans can get a little loud
- Pulls a lot of juice. I have a Corsair HX750 and it kicks the fans up... often!

Other Thoughts: I was upset my 660ti wasn't pulling the frames I'd hoped on BF4. Although it did a good job, this bad boy has no problems. Nor should it for the price tag... $529.99 when I purchased from Newegg. If you're looking at a card of this size, you know what you're getting in to. This boy pulls the load big time and puts out double the frames as my 660ti on max settings. No more worries on screen tearing issues. I cannot knock an egg off from the heat generation or louder than normal fans. I also can't say whether or not the ACX cooler is any better than competitor heatsinks. My MSI 660ti did a great job staying cool, but still maxed at 80c on high end games on max settings.

I couldn't take the leap and justify the 780ti (Although I wanted to). The extra $200 just simply wasn't in my budget. Overall, this card is fantastic! I would certainly recommend to anyone on the fence.

5 out of 5 eggsOC BEASTS!

Pros: Incredible overclockers on air. First card ran Firestrike stable at 1340+mhz on core and over 7.2ghz on mem (+800 on Precision X slider)!. Second card clocked slightly lower but is rock solid. White LEDs on the side of the card are a nice touch. Love these cards! Custom and durable PCB.

Cons: Does not include backplate.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Upgrade Choice from SLI

Pros: This beast of a graphics card is a great upgrade choice from lower end SLI configurations. I upgraded from two 580GTX's in SLI mode to this card and was rewarded with a significant frame rate increase across the board on my games. I also noticed a nice reduction in heat from my system. As an example, I'm running Battlefield 4 maxed out and I'm drawing an average of 93FPS with spikes of 110's. iRacing frame rates are in the 90's also, with spikes of 103-110. The ACX cooler is extremely quiet.......so much so that I had to look to make sure the thing was working! Great card for the gaming enthusiast looking for an alternative upgrade closer to the Titan without the cost!

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: This card is HUGE. Make sure your system can support the size of this card. Also STRONGLY recommend you have at least a 1000 watt power supply to run this beast.

5 out of 5 eggshands down the best 780

Pros: If your into overclocking, this card is by far the best. With the ln2 bios switch you can flash custom bios. If you wish you can even take the stock air cooler off and put a water block on. All without voiding your warranty. Not many manufactures will allow these things. It has by far the best voltage controller the chil8318, and its phases and regulation allow for very stable high overclocks. Evga has done a great job on this modified(slightly bigger) acx cooling. Running 1.212v@1.3ghz can stay under 75c all day in gaming. That easily passes 780ti/290x reference speeds and matches most factory overclocked versions.

Cons: Big card.

Other Thoughts: I wish water cooling was cheaper as that is the only way to realize the limits of a highly binned gk110 on a stout custom pcb.

5 out of 5 eggsSuch an Awesome GPU

Pros: I don't think there is anything that can stop this thing. Running BF4 I am able to get 90-100 FPS on Ultra. What else is there to say? It does the job its supposed to do, the color scheme on the board is also nice.

Cons: The price for the board is a bit steep, but you get for you pay for. Amazing results. You wont have to worry about upgrading for a long time.
