The EVGA GeForce GTX 780 Classified Edition Graphics Card combines extraordinary power, advanced control features, and game-changing thermal and acoustic capability to provide an entirely new class of graphics performance. The Powerful NVIDIA Kepler GPU GTX 780 of 2304 cores and 3GB of GDDR5 graphics memory all work side by side to deliver awesome gaming performance. NVIDIA GPU Boost 2.0 technology pushes PC performance to new levels with precise controls. Enable massive firepower with NVIDIA SLI technology, and play games with temperature in check with EVGA ACX Cooler.

  • newegg EVGA ACX Cooler With a 40% increase in heatsink volume, the EVGA ACX is more efficient at dissipating heat, allowing for 15% lower GPU temperatures. A reinforcement baseplate maintains a straight PCB, and helps lower mosfet temperatures by 7% and memory by 15%. Even the fan blades are of the highest quality, with a 700% increase in strength, and 25% lower weight when compared to competitors. This makes the fans 20% more efficient by requiring lower power levels. EVGA is also using double ball bearing fans, which offer a 12-year lifespan, four times longer when compared to competitors!
  • newegg Kepler GPU Architecture NVIDIA's Kepler GPU architecture has been designed from the ground up not just for maximum performance in the latest DirectX 11 games, but also for optimal performance per watt. The new SMX streaming multiprocessor is twice as efficient as the prior generation, and the new geometry engine draws triangles twice as fast. The result is world-class performance and the highest image quality in an elegant, power-efficient graphics card.
  • newegg NVIDIA GPU Boost 2.0 This brand-new technology allows gamers to push PC performance to the maximum with precise controls. GPU Boost 2.0 intelligently monitors work with advanced controls – like GPU temperature target, overclocking, and overvoltage – to ensure the GPU works at the ultimate performance.
  • newegg NVIDIA Adaptive Vertical Sync Nothing is more distracting than framerate stuttering and screen tearing. The first tends to occur when framerates are low, the second when framerates are high. Adaptive V-Sync is a smarter way to render frames. At high framerates, V-sync is enabled to eliminate tearing; at low framerates, it's disabled to minimize stuttering. It gets rid of distractions so you can get on with gaming.
  • newegg NVIDIA Surround with up to Four Monitors Nothing is as breathtaking as playing your favorite games across three monitors. At 5760 x 1080, the expanded field of view fully engages your peripheral vision and provides for the most immersive experience in racing and flight simulators. Add a fourth display to keep tabs on chat, email or web while you are gaming.
  • newegg TXAA AntiAliasing Anti-aliasing helps to smooth out jagged lines in games. Existing techniques like MSAA are effective at removing jagged lines in still images, but struggle with crawling and shimmering artifacts when the player is in motion. TXAA is a new anti-aliasing mode that combines MSAA, temporal filtering, and post processing for the highest edge quality and minimal shimmering during gameplay.

5 out of 5 eggsIt is hard to review a GPU that works perfectly

Pros: As my title stated this GPU is perfect. just got Lords of the Fallen runs the game on ultra high with no lag. I play every game I own on ultra with no lag and I still have not seen my GPU over 62 degrees. some of my games include:
Watchdogs
Lords of the Fallen
Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel
X Rebirth
Crysis 3
I have many others but these need powerful GPU's unlike the larger portion of my collection.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: Get it

1 out of 5 eggsLength

Pros: Looks good, great specifications.

Cons: Bought two of them, to run a multiple-screen setup but... it didn't fit the fresh Antec Sonata III build due to its length.

Specs say it is 10.5" long while it is instead 11.5" from bracket to tail.

Other Thoughts: Huge waste of time, as in a fresh build the video card is the last component to go in. Now have to wait for RMA and another EVGA card I just ordered which HOPEFULLY has truthful size specs

5 out of 5 eggsRock Solid!

Pros: This card is a beast. I got this card for 339 after MIR, and for this money, you are getting a quality product. I have two of these and it beats GTX970 in SLi for less money. Yes, it does consume slightly more power and has 1GB less memory, but it doesn't have fan issues, drivers are stable, and overclocks like anything else I owned before.

Memory running at 7GHz and GPU is bumped 107 MHz 24/7 and temps never been above 70c.

This card is big, really big, and I do recommend that you have a full tower case if you want to have two (or more) of these.

The card has dual bios (LN2) for overclocking, and with EVGA software and customer support, you are having a great deal.

Cons: There isn't a real con for this card, I wish it had more memory, but I don't game in 4k, and even then, I would be able to run games in 4K with lower AA.

4 out of 5 eggsPower packed

Pros: Quiet

Powerful
Plows through Borderlands at max settings + physix like its a joke.

Price for this model was cheaper than the refurbished cards!

Cons: HUGE
Did I fail to mention HUGE?
Top mounted power connection (Not on end)

My modded Antec 300 Illusion didn't want to hold this card. I'd give it 5 eggs if it wasn't for the fact that I had to reorganize the entire case and re-route cables. The card had to be turned awkwardly in the case to insert it. Then as if a miracle, the card fit in place as if the case was made to hold that card.

Other Thoughts: Cant show installation pic's unfortunately.

This is replacing a 660TI 2xSLI setup. Most of the games I played didnt know what to do with SLI, so I bit the bullet and bought something a more powerful.

Static benchmarks put this only 10% better than the SLI setup, but its really powering through the games I throw at it.

2 out of 5 eggsNot very pleased

Pros: I have purchased the 6GB version of this card. The problem I'm having is that it was to replace an AMD HD6970 and the SR-2 motherboard with the NF200 shipset is not compatible with the newer R290 series so I had to go with nVidia. I thought the GTX780 SC would be faster and better but it was and is not.

This new GTX780SC is so slow, in Crysis 3 all setting have to be on low @ 1360 x 768 for it to run smooth, the old AMD 6970 card ran so much better @ 1600 x 1024 and settings on 50% high and the rest on medium.

This card is not worth the money, the old AMD HD6970 card runs much faster and is much cheaper.
Very poor job nVidia. My system is EVGA MB SR-2 with ( six sticks ) 3 channel 12GB Ram, SSD HD and 2x6core cpu's @ 3.2Ghz. The nVidia software states my system does no meet the minimum requirements to run other than LOW settings, interesting!

Cons: Need to get two Radeon 6970's to get smoother graphics at a fraction of the cost I suppose.

5 out of 5 eggsFLAWLESS!!!!!

Pros: EVGA Classified !!! These classified series cards are made for overclocking.... made for the enthusiast who wants the best quality parts built into the card. I have run several benchmarks since I got this card ,, and it is an absolute beast. After my benchmark results I was looking at the 9XX cards and i am MORE than happy I got this card ,,and I will leave it at that.

Cons: Wish it had 4gb or more ,, but i don't game in 4k so it is not needed.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Performance

Pros: Received this card + Borderlands code for $330 and had a rebate. I am on a 1080p monitor and every game is on high settings. I feel I received great bang for the buck. I see temps from 59 to 67 degrees celsius while gaming. Full system power draw is way less than a GTX 590 and it's quieter.

Cons: I really have no cons. I wish the back plate came with it and wish it was 4GB of memory.

Other Thoughts: Long time EVGA user and this card has me satisfied. I buy my cards at the END of the product cycle once all the bugs have been worked out and the price drops due to the next generation. Has worked for me for nearly 20 years, I expect this to be no different. I ALMOST went for a GTX 970 but so many reviews about coil whine, I just couldn't take the chance I have to deal with that. Next GPU upgrade will be with a WQHD monitor!

5 out of 5 eggsEVGA 780 classified 3GB

Pros: Fast
Cool Temps
Solid Build (EVGA delivers, again)
ACX Cooler
Very efficient performance/cost ratio

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: Obtained this card (+borderlands code-rebate) for $330.

Decided to finally upgrade from dual EVGA 470 GTXs.. man, was it worth the upgrade! 3dmark Fire Strike score went from overall 3894->8918 (8952 with one 470 as a dedicated physX; PCI-E 2.0).

I was looking at the new 970/980 cards before my purchase of this card (9/23/14), and the 780 was 1) in stock, 2) same price as 970, 3) has historically positive trend data/reviews, and 4) performs are 90%+ what 970/980 will. I've also heard negative reviews on the ACX 1.0 versions of each being a 'poor structural ACX build'.

Ensure you have PSU that will support power needs: "600 watt or greater power supply with a minimum of 42 amps on the +12 volt rail."

This is not the absolute best card on the market. This is a high performing card at a very reasonable price ($330).

Computer build:
Intel i7-2700k @3.3Ghz
4x4GB Corsair Vengeance @ 1600MHz (9-9-9-24)
EVGA E679 (P67 FTW, E-ATX form)
Intel 520 240GB SSD (Seq Read up to 550MB/s, Seq Write up to 520MB/s)
EVGA 780 GTX Classified 3GB
EVGA 470 GTX 1.2GB PhysX dedicated

5 out of 5 eggsGaming Demon Card

Pros: Insanely Good Card matches 780ti speeds with overclocking and offers about the same performance maybe 5 percent less fps than the gtx 980 that was just released but that wont justify upgrading anytime soon.

ACX cooler is very efficient and the only time i really hear the fans is when i want to hear them and start up the evga benchmark program and wait ten minutes for the temps to get to 70c which takes a lot of effort because i have 9 fans in my case right now which move an insane amount of air.

Plays all my games at minimum 60fps ultra setting and AA 16x takes full advantage of my 144hz monitor and even better when i get my second card and go into sli mode.

Cons: Can't think of anything besides the random pcb lights on the end that don't serve a purpose other than to just waste a couple mWs of power. would be nice if they included the $20 backplate on these as well.

Other Thoughts: Very Large card the 2x 8 pin power cords might not clear some cases comfortably but thats not a problem i had with the phantom 820 case can't wait to replace this card in 3 years with the latest and greatest from evga
