The EVGA GeForce GTX 770 marks an evolution in gaming performance – an insanely fast, smooth, and whisper-quiet experience every time. The powerful NVIDIA Kepler GPU GTX 770 of 1536 cores, and 4GB of GDDR5 graphics memory, work side by side to deliver awesome gaming performance. NVIDIA GPU Boost 2.0 technology pushes PC performance to new levels with precise controls. And equipped with an EVGA ACX cooler, the EVGA GeForce GTX 770 provides you with an extremely quiet and reliable gaming experience.

  • newegg EVGA ACX Cooler With a 40% increase in heatsink volume, the EVGA ACX is more efficient at dissipating heat, allowing for 15% lower GPU temperatures. A reinforcement baseplate maintains a straight PCB, and helps lower mosfet temperatures by 7% and memory by 15%. Even the fan blades are of the highest quality, with a 700% increase in strength, and 25% lower weight when compared to competitors. This makes the fans 20% more efficient by requiring lower power levels. EVGA is also using double ball bearing fans which offer a 12 year lifespan, four times longer when compared to competitors!
  • newegg Kepler GPU Architecture NVIDIA's Kepler GPU architecture has been designed from the ground up not just for maximum performance in the latest DirectX 11 games, but optimal performance per watt. The new SMX streaming multiprocessor is twice as efficient as the prior generation, and the new geometry engine draws triangles twice as fast. The result is world-class performance and the highest image quality in an elegant, power-efficient graphics card.
  • newegg NVIDIA GPU Boost 2.0 This brand-new technology allows gamers to push PC performance to the maximum with precise controls. GPU Boost 2.0 intelligently monitors work with even more advanced controls, like GPU temperature target, overclocking, and overvoltage, to ensure the GPU works at the ultimate performance.
  • newegg NVIDIA Adaptive Vertical Sync Nothing is more distracting than framerate stuttering and screen tearing. The first tends to occur when framerates are low, the second when framerates are high. Adaptive V-Sync is a smarter way to render frames. At high framerates, V-sync is enabled to eliminate tearing; at low framerates, it's disabled to minimize stuttering. It gets rid of distractions so you can get on with gaming.
  • newegg NVIDIA Surround with Up To Four Monitors Nothing is as breathtaking as playing your favorite games across three monitors. At 5760 x 1080, the expanded field of view fully engages your peripheral vision and provides for the most immersive experience in racing and flight simulators. Add a fourth display to keep tabs on chat, email, or the web while you are gaming.
  • newegg TXAA ANTI-ALIASING Anti-aliasing helps to smooth out jagged lines in games. Existing techniques like MSAA are effective at removing jagged lines in still images, but struggle with crawling and shimmering artifacts when the player is in motion. TXAA is a new anti-aliasing mode that combines MSAA, temporal filtering, and post processing for the highest edge quality and minimal shimmering during gameplay.

5 out of 5 eggsStill an excellent card one year later.

Pros: Very good performance across the board. ACX cooler does a good job and looks cool (no pun intended). 4GB of RAM!

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: I bought two of these cards last year (one for each PC) and I've been pleased with their performance. The card is stable and the fans on the ACX cooler are quiet even under load. The extra RAM ensures that your games will run smoothly at 1080p.

Aside from the price-which isn't bad given the card's overall value-there aren't any cons I can think of. I would suggest running it with a beefy PSU especially you're planning on setting up an SLI configuration. That said, If you're in the market for a solid graphics card look no further.

5 out of 5 eggsBang for the buck

Pros: SLI for these cards is super easy, and super powerful.

Tested this on 3DMark with SLI and it scored well above competitors in its class.

Tested this on Tomb Raider, CS:GO, Civ 5, Dishonored, and FF:XIV ARR. Average 120fps maximum settings.

Cons: Runs just a tad bit on the warm side, however, nothing too bad:

~40c idle
~70c under load

Cards are also powerhouses (recommended 650w for single card). I went with a 1000w power supply to ensure proper power delivery for SLI, however, nothing that I didn't fully expect.

5 out of 5 eggsWorth Every Penny

Pros: Powerful - 120 Fps with fraps while streaming and skype on Ultra for whatever game I ran it with

Easy Installation - Plug it in, turn on computer, install software, done.

Practically Silent - I expected this card to be super loud but this thing is quieter than my desk fan

Goodies - Like most high priced items, it came with lots of goodies.

Cons: BIG! - This card is huge! Need a full sized case for this thing.

Other Thoughts: This has officially given my computer crack, it's ridiculous. Being able to see everything run so smooth at such a high frame rate on Ultra settings is great. This card is well worth the investment and will be sitting in my rig for years and years.

4 out of 5 eggsWorks fine.

Pros: Skyrim run smoothly with 30+ mods, on Ultra setting.

The Witcher 2 runs smoothly on Ultra setting.

Seems capable of handling pretty much anything out there, even on a motherboard that only has PCI 2.0 x 16, as opposed to 3.0.

Cons: Nvidia temperature software monitors are useless for anything other than the actual graphics card itself. More of a complaint on the Nvidia control panel and software rather than the hardware product itself.

Not sure if this is a con, but I'm not sure if the fan speed is increasing when it needs to, or if it's just quiet.

Other Thoughts: I've upgraded from a gtx 285, which had a loud fan speed, which I controlled manually using 3rd party software, software that doesn't work with this new model. So not hearing the fan blowing is nice, but it also makes me wonder if it's working properly or not. Will update this review when I monitor fan speeds with a graphics heavy game.

3 out of 5 eggsNice card, big but not so bad

Pros: Big, shiny, lots of hype

Cons: Does not perform like you hope it will.

Other Thoughts: I was drawn in by the dual and superclocked in the title but after receiving the card and upgrading.... Not that huge performance leap over my old 560ti. I bought this card because DayZ:SA was just making my little 560ti scream for mercy. Did my homework and research and decided to go with this card. The card got here and after wiping old drivers, updating to the recommended drivers from Nvidia site I quickly loaded DayZ hoping to be wowed by the stunning performance.... After seeing the phrase "Your graphics card does not meet the minimum requirements of this game" I thought "What, you gotta be kidding me?" It was a slight upgrade in quality and reduced some of the lag but even with the new card I still have trouble going over standard quality settings. Save your money and get the standard 770 or spend a little extra and get the 780.

5 out of 5 eggsFantastic card

Pros: Works brilliantly on everything I throw at it
Super-quiet cooling fans
Can be overclocked a little more without any issues

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: I upgraded from a 560-Ti, and I couldn't be happier! The 560-Ti was starting to show its age with the newest games, but now I can max out (or almost max out) every game I own and maintain 60fps @ 1080.

I did overclock the card a bit more to 1150 MHz to match the more expensive "Classified" version of this card, and it hasn't had any issues. The temperature maxes out around 75C, overclocked or not.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat upgrade from a GTX660 2GB

Pros: nice looking and quite. I wasnt sure about going from a 660 2GB to 770 4GB but my wife wanted my 660 so i figured i would upgrade instead of buy another 660. I ran planetside 2 at full graphics and there is a noticeable difference in how crisp everything is. Never had a problem running at max graphics with the 660 but it still seems to look better with the 770. My framerate went up as well but that may be from the upgraded processor i bought with this.

Cons: the manual did not stipulate which plugs to put into it. just an 8 pin, just a 6 pin or both 6 pin and 8 pin. a quick google search solved it for me. more of a personal issue though as i have never had to plug in more than a single power source into a video card before

5 out of 5 eggsDelightfully powerful

Pros: -Runs triple 24" monitors with no trouble at all
-Eats up any game I've thrown at it, no matter the settings
-No noticeable noise increase (previous card: GTX 470)

Cons: None encountered

Other Thoughts: For any who are curious, this card is large, but should fit any ATX mid-tower without trouble, unless there's some kind of extra-long HDD cage. I had no trouble installing it in my Antec 900, despite not using a modular PSU.

I didn't have to change my PSU for it - I'm just using my regular old Corsair 750. Not a peep of trouble.

In addition to running three 24" monitors at 1080, it had no problem repeatedly live-streaming a 3.5 hour reoccurring game tournament at 30fps 1080p, while I simultaneously ran broadcast software, audio software, office software, and the game itself. Didn't even sound like the fan needed to speed up.
