The EVGA GeForce GTX 760 marks an evolution in gaming performance: an insanely fast, smooth, and whisper-quiet experience every time. The powerful NVIDIA Kepler GPU GTX 760, of 1152 cores and 4GB of GDDR5 graphics memory, delivers an awesome gaming performance. NVIDIA GPU Boost 2.0 technology pushes PC performance to new levels with precise controls. And equipped with an EVGA ACX cooler, the EVGA GeForce GTX 760 provides you with an extremely quiet and reliable gaming experience.

  • newegg EVGA ACX Cooler With a 40% increase in heatsink volume, the EVGA ACX is more efficient at dissipating heat, allowing for 15% lower GPU temperatures. A reinforcement baseplate maintains a straight PCB, and helps lower mosfet temperatures by 7%, and memory by 15%. Even the fan blades are of the highest quality; with a 700% increase in strength, and 25% lower weight when compared to competitors. This makes the fans 20% more efficient by requiring lower power levels. The double ball bearing prolongs the fans' lifespan to up to 12 years.
  • newegg Kepler GPU Architecture NVIDIA's Kepler GPU architecture has been designed from the ground up not just for maximum performance in the latest DirectX 11 games, but also for optimal performance per watt. The new SMX streaming multiprocessor is twice as efficient as the prior generation, and the new geometry engine draws triangles twice as fast. The result is world-class performance and the highest image quality in an elegant, power-efficient graphics card.
  • newegg NVIDIA GPU Boost 2.0 This brand-new technology allows gamers to push PC performance to the maximum with precise controls. GPU Boost 2.0 intelligently monitors work with advanced controls – like GPU temperature target, overclocking, and overvoltage – to ensure the GPU works at the ultimate performance.
  • newegg Two New Anti-Aliasing Modes: FXAA and TXAA Anti-aliasing smoothes out “jaggies” (jagged edges) but can be demanding on framerates. Fast Approximate Anti-Aliasing (FXAA) is a new anti-aliasing technology that produces beautiful smooth lines with minimal performance impact. And with Kepler-based GPUs, you'll be able to enable FXAA in hundreds of game titles through the NVIDIA Control Panel. The second mode, Temporal Anti-Aliasing (TXAA), is an in-game option that combines Multi-Sample Anti-Aliasing (MSAA), temporal filtering, and post processing for even higher visual fidelity.
  • newegg NVIDIA Adaptive Vertical Sync Nothing is more distracting than framerate stuttering and screen tearing. The first tends to occur when framerates are low, the second when framerates are high. Adaptive V-Sync is a smarter way to render frames. At high framerates, V-sync is enabled to eliminate tearing; at low framerates, it's disabled to minimize stuttering. It gets rid of distractions so you can get on with gaming.
  • newegg NVIDIA Surround with up to Four Monitors Nothing is as breathtaking as playing your favorite games across three monitors. At 5760 x 1080, the expanded field of view fully engages your peripheral vision and provides for the most immersive experience in racing and flight simulators. Add a fourth display to keep tabs on chat, email, or web while you are gaming.

5 out of 5 eggsgreat card

Pros: small length, compared to other cards, silent fans, good packaging, good directions, and easy drivers with Nvidia software.

Cons: dual slotted, but that couldn't really have been avoided.

Other Thoughts: runs a bit hot with only fans pushing out, so be sure to order a fan to push in if you don't already have one.

4 out of 5 eggsDecent Card

Pros: As far as performance goes you can't go wrong with this card if you are looking for a card in the 60's range. Will play most all games with med to high settings at a decent frame-rate.

Cons: My card has started making a weird rhythmic clicking noise after about 7-8 months use. After closer inspection it is one of the fans. It is still free spinning and isn't hitting anything so there wasn't anything I could do to stop it. Although it hasn't hindered performance in any way. I can't hear it when the fans speed up, but at a low speed it is very noticeable. I can hear it taunting me right this moment and that is why I took an egg off. Not worth going without my card that long to rma it, so I just tolerate it. If anything it will force me to upgrade sooner.

5 out of 5 eggsGet one before they run out!

Pros: I purchased one of these back when they first came out and was more than satisfied with its power. I just purchased a second one for SLi. These cards are incredible. They're inexpensive, powerful and in SLi can play anything thrown at them. I would definitely recommend purchasing before they run out.

Cons: Discontinued model. Also, after a year.. it still doesn't make my breakfast or check the mail. I'm hoping SLi will provide the necessary A.I. to remedy this concern.

Other Thoughts: As with any decent card, the size is something to be mindful of when building a machine. I recommend checking your case for space first.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat card

Pros: This card is extremely quiet, and plays games such as Borderlands 2 at maximum settings at 60+ fps. Plenty of VRAM for almost any situation.

Cons: Occasionally, there are framerate drops when there are lots of explosions on the screen, where the game drops to around 20 fps. I've only experienced this on borderlands 2, not on other games.

Other Thoughts: This is a fantastic card, but the ASUS ROG Striker is the same price and looks better AND includes a LED for the load. If you find the striker ostentatious, get this one instead.

5 out of 5 eggsThis is a BEAST!

Pros: Powerful. Slick-looking. Good for the price.

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: Seriously, this thing blows games and other graphics away. I'm in desperate need of a motherboard and CPU upgrade, and even that doesn't slow it down. Crysis 3, Skyrim, etc. It does it all without missing a beat. I run all my games on high or ultra high settings now. Couldn't be happier. Going on nearly a year now and it's still running just fine.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat card.

Pros: Well this is my second card. I bought the first one when they first came out a year ago. I run them In SLI now. BF4 DSR enabled 120+ fps, ultra settings on 1920 x 1080p 23 inch. The one card ran Bf4 average 74 fps on ultra. The only reason I got the second card is not because I need to upgrade... Because Nvidia isn't making these anymore.

Cons: Nvidia discontinued these card series too soon.

Other Thoughts: I was lucky I got the first card for $269, and this one for $229. I am very happy with these cards.

5 out of 5 eggsErmegerhd

Pros: It is fast. I have a cheap case and poor cable managment... and it still screams.

Cons: My case can't fit two.

Other Thoughts: Due to my messy internal wires... it does get a little hot. If you have proper airflow then you have nothing to worry about.

5 out of 5 eggsOne month of HEAVY use.

Pros: Works as advertised.

I bought this card specifically for playing Skyrim w/LOTS of mods. It runs wonderfully, at extreme (custom) settings with ENB, 15GB of texture files and no stutter. I couldn't be happier!

All that said, there are a few caveats. First, you MUST use the power adapters included with this card, and the instructions are very confusing. The card has both a 6-pin and a 8-pin GPU connector (NOT the same as a CPU 8-pin connector--they are different and incompatible). Regardless of whether or not you have a power supply with a GPU 8-pin, I HIGHLY recommend using BOTH adapters--as a result of doing so you will have a total of 20 pins for power supply, completely by-passing power draw through the motherboard, and therefor extending the lifespan of your motherboard.

To use the the 8-pin adapter, take two standard 6-pin connectors from your PS and plug them into the included adapter, creating an 8-pin supply for the Video card. Next, take two 4-pin Disc drive connectors from your PS and plug them into the 6-pin adapter, plugging this into the card. You now have a total of 4 power supply connectors to power the card--it needs it as both fans will be spinning max-speed on video intensive applications (Photoshop, gaming, etc.).

Solid 50-60 FPS with a heavily modified Skyrim install (trust me, that's pretty good--my 1GB card wouldn't even boot up Skyrim with all those mods).

As a test, Battlefield 4 ran great at Ultra settings (except for the crashes associated with the game itself, a known issue and not caused by this card). It also ran the newest Tomb Raider on ultra settings with not so much as a hiccup (again, a very demanding application in terms of video card requirements).

I have a 550w power supply that has a wattage draw meter, and I have yet to see this PC (i7-4770 @ 3.4Ghz Haswell + this card) draw more than 300 watts, so current draw is FAR less than I expected, probably a result of the Haswell processors. I never felt the need to over-clock this card, and I don't suggest it if you want get the full lifespan from it.

One month in, I am quite happy with this purchase.

Cons: This was a big Con for me, as I almost returned the card as a result. I Google search found me the answers though--the 8-pin adapter included with this card did NOT want to seat in the card-side connector slot! It would not go even half way in, even though it was obviously the right connector. As it turns out, there is a SLIGHT manufacturing flaw with the female card-side connector that prevents the adapter from firmly seating and locking into place, but the fix is EASY. Connector the adapter to the card BEFORE you install the video card in your motherboard, and tilt the connector SLIGHTLY towards the back side of the card (away from the fans) and apply firm pressure (thus installing the adapter before installing the card, so as not to apply too much pressure to the motherboard itself and possibly damaging it). The adapter clicked right into place this way. Once the card is installed, you can then hook the two 6-pin PS connectors to the adapter.

On a Dell XPS w/ATX case, the card interfered with the two stock SATA cables. I barely made them fit with some re-routing, but a friend with the exact same set-up had to get slightly longer SATA cables--I recommend purchasing two of them with this card.

The included video driver freaked out and black-screened my main monitor (in a dual-monitor set-up) randomly--Blame NVidia, not EVGA. Reverting to the 335.23 driver COMPLETELY resolved this problem.

If you can't handle fan noise, this may not be the card for you--Both fans wind up to FULL speed when running any graphics intensive applications. BUT, as a result of this, GPU temperatures never even came close to a level that would cause panic, if fact, it stays quite cool, cooler than expected in the Dell XPS case I installed the card in.

Other Thoughts: Used the $.99 shipping option and STILL received my card in TWO days. Awesome, Newegg!
