Your gaming will not be the same with EVGA GeForce GTX780 Graphics Card.

Based on the latest evolution of NVIDIA GPU, the GeForce GTX 780, this card is a landmark in gaming performance - an insanely fast, smooth, and whisper-quiet experience. The massively powerful NVIDIA Kepler GPU features 2304 CUDA cores - 50% more than its predecessor. Complete with 3GB of high-speed GDDR5 memory and NVIDIA GPU Boost 2.0 technology, this card gives you the performance you need to game at extreme settings. The 03G-P4-3784-KR model is factory overclocked to 980MHz base clock (863MHz for standard), and 1033MHz Boost Clock (900MHz for standard), pushing the already amazing performance to a new level. This card also introduces a brand-new thermal solution – the EVGA ACX cooler – which delivers enhanced cooling capability at a reduced noise level, as well as a longer fan lifespan. Beyond performance and fans, the GeForce GTX 780 is perfectly tuned to today’s most advanced gaming technologies, with GeForce Experience for one-click driver and setting optimization, plus NVIDIA PhysX and TXAA for smooth, sharp graphics.

  • newegg EVGA ACX Cooler EVGA is introducing a brand-new cooling design, the EVGA ACX Cooler. This revolutionary double ball bearing design offers a 40% increase in heatsink volume, 15% average lower GPU and memory temperatures, and double ball bearing fans with an average lifespan of 12 years. This is a four times longer lifespan versus competitors' sleeve-bearing fans! Not to mention this fan is silent; in fact it is 15% quieter on average!
  • newegg NVIDIA GPU Boost 2.0 This brand-new technology allows gamers to push PC performance to the maximum with precise controls. GPU Boost 2.0 intelligently monitors work with advanced controls – like GPU temperature target, overclocking, and overvoltage – to ensure the GPU works at the ultimate performance.
  • newegg GeForce Experience The easiest way to optimize your games and keep your drivers up to date, the GeForce Experience application automatically notifies you of new driver releases from NVIDIA. With a single click, you’ll be able to update the driver directly, without leaving your desktop.
  • newegg NVIDIA Adaptive Vertical Sync Nothing is more distracting than framerate stuttering and screen tearing. The first tends to occur when framerates are low, the second when framerates are high. Adaptive V-Sync is a smarter way to render frames. At high framerates, V-sync is enabled to eliminate tearing; at low framerates, it's disabled to minimize stuttering. It gets rid of distractions so you can get on with gaming.
  • newegg NVIDIA Surround with up to Four Monitors Nothing is as breathtaking as playing your favorite games across three monitors. At 5760 x 1080, the expanded field of view fully engages your peripheral vision and provides for the most immersive experience in racing and flight simulators. Add a fourth display to keep tabs on chat, email, or the web while you are gaming.
  • newegg TXAA Anti-Aliasing Anti-aliasing helps to smooth out jagged lines in games. Existing techniques like MSAA are effective at removing jagged lines in still images, but struggle with crawling and shimmering artifacts when the player is in motion. TXAA is a new anti-aliasing mode that combines MSAA, temporal filtering, and post processing for the highest edge quality and minimal shimmering during gameplay.

5 out of 5 eggsWorth the investment, very nice

Pros: This being my first time build, I wanted a GPU that was top notch and would last a few years. With my low tech knowledge (and some internet research) I was bale to tweak the OC and do some testing. I decided to leave it stock for the time being as this guy was performing very solidly on its own, and runs everything I throw at it on ultra. Stress testing temps are ~80 C.

Here's some scores I got for reference:
(Stock)
3DMark FireStrike: score 9183
Heaven: score 1427, 56.6 FPS (Ultra, 1920x1080 8xAA fullscreen, Extreme tess)

Cons: Price, I guess

Other Thoughts: My build:
i5-4690K (4.5 gHz, 1.25v)
Gigabyte GA-G1 Sniper Z97
Corsair Vengeance LoPro 1866, 16 GB (8x2)
Crucial MX100 128 GB SSD
Seagate Barracuda 1 TB HDD
Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO
Fractal Design Define R4 Black Pearl w/ 4 fans
EVGA Supernova 1000w G2 80+ Gold

5 out of 5 eggsAwesome card, blows my GTX 580 away!

Pros: This card is powerful and it worked with my older PSU. I replaced a GTX 580 and it fit right in the same spot inside the case. I also had an older 8800 GTS G90 card to run my two other monitors. This 780 was able to connect with all 3 monitors and run everything much smoother. Flawless upgrade with the latest Nvidia software.

Cons: The price seems to have jumped over the past week. Not sure if I bought it during a mispriced time or the demand has went up. I paid $484 for it and have a $20 MIR if I want to apply it. It is now showing for $529 ??

Other Thoughts: This card should last a couple years at least to be able to run all games at max settings, assuming your other hardware is also up to snuff.

5 out of 5 eggsGTX 780 review

Pros: Amazing GPU. This video card runs very cool. Much cooler than the dual card SLI system I was running on my last build. And it out performs it significantly. It is also very quiet. It does require a 42 amp rail for power, so I had to purchase a new PSU to support it as my old 850 watt unit didn't meet the power specs. Overall, I am very impressed with this GPU.

Cons: A little pricey, but you get what you pay for. If it fits your budget, buy it. You won't regret it.

Other Thoughts: My build;
Asus X79 Deluxe MB
Intel core i7 3930K CPU
Artic Freezer i11 CPU cooler
EVGA Supernova 1000 PSU
EVGA GTX 780 GPU
Asus Xonar DX 7.1 sound card
G. Skill Trident DDR3 1600 (32GB)

5 out of 5 eggswhat A Great Graphics Card

5 out of 5 eggsFantastic performance

Pros: Will run 99% of games on ultra and get >60fps. I still get performance issues in AC4 and Watch Dogs but that's Ubisoft for ya.

The cooling is very efficient, it idles at around 28 and peaks at 80 (because of GPU boost). The noise is also very minor and I haven't noticed any coil whine like some other reviewers.

Cons: none so far

Other Thoughts: I'm pretty much insulting this GPU with a 1080p monitor, so you don't have to worry if you've got 1440p. 4K might be another matter, though.

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent Card..Again!

Pros: This is an update to my earlier review - received my new card via EVGA after my first one died. The new card works great, and stays just as cool as the original purchased card. This thing can play just about anything you can throw at it, and is extremely cost efficient right now with the sale+rebate.

Nvidia drivers have been great as of late too. There's not much to not like here.

Cons: None! EVGA rocks. Make sure you register your card on their website for their premium support!

5 out of 5 eggsPower house

Pros: Absolutely love this card. Fast and quiet while staying cool. stock speeds after playing games for long time doesn't reach higher then low 60s°c. Battlefield 4 64 man server conquest with ultra to high settings (because some setters a jump from high to ultra isn't worth the performance hit) 145-160 fps. But I lock frames at 120 so card doesnt over work itself for nothing

Cons: Honestly I feel like this card should have a faster bus with extra gig of Vram. It'll be interesting to see how it holds up to my triple 1080p monitor setup in a few months.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat card, read this if considering.

Pros: The card itself is great. It looks fantastic, runs fantastic. Handles everything I give it like nothing. This card is worth every penny.

Cons: I have no beef with the card but I want to share the problem I had. This card says it needs 600 Watt power supply. This means absolutely nothing. What you need is a 12 volt rail with at least 42 amps. That's a single rail. I had a 700 Watt power supply that had two 12 volt rails with 25 amps on each rail. This did not cut it. Nor did any of the other connectors and stuff. If you are going to get one of these make sure that you have a rail that has at least 42 amps. The wattage doesn't really matter as much as the amps do.

2 out of 5 eggsDied after 4 months

Pros: This card is fast. Amazingly fast. I can play Crysis 2/3 both at Ultra settings @ 1080p. Runs cool and very quiet with the new ACX fan setup. Also: it's EVGA. What's not to like?

Cons: Oh yeah. Mine just died. After 4 months of use.

Other Thoughts: Perhaps I just got the bad apple. Regardless, EVGA's support is stellar as usual, and approved an Support Ticket/RMA in less than 20 minutes. Will provide an update after I get my new card!
