Your gaming will not be the same with EVGA GeForce GTX780 Graphics Card.

Based on the latest evolution of NVIDIA GPU, the GeForce GTX 780, this card is a landmark in gaming performance - an insanely fast, smooth, and whisper-quiet experience. The massively powerful NVIDIA Kepler GPU features 2304 CUDA cores - 50% more than its predecessor. Complete with 3GB of high-speed GDDR5 memory and NVIDIA GPU Boost 2.0 technology, this card gives you the performance you need to game at extreme settings. The 03G-P4-3784-KR model is factory overclocked to 980MHz base clock (863MHz for standard), and 1033MHz Boost Clock (900MHz for standard), pushing the already amazing performance to a new level. This card also introduces a brand-new thermal solution – the EVGA ACX cooler – which delivers enhanced cooling capability at a reduced noise level, as well as a longer fan lifespan. Beyond performance and fans, the GeForce GTX 780 is perfectly tuned to today’s most advanced gaming technologies, with GeForce Experience for one-click driver and setting optimization, plus NVIDIA PhysX and TXAA for smooth, sharp graphics.

  • newegg EVGA ACX Cooler EVGA is introducing a brand-new cooling design, the EVGA ACX Cooler. This revolutionary double ball bearing design offers a 40% increase in heatsink volume, 15% average lower GPU and memory temperatures, and double ball bearing fans with an average lifespan of 12 years. This is a four times longer lifespan versus competitors' sleeve-bearing fans! Not to mention this fan is silent; in fact it is 15% quieter on average!
  • newegg NVIDIA GPU Boost 2.0 This brand-new technology allows gamers to push PC performance to the maximum with precise controls. GPU Boost 2.0 intelligently monitors work with advanced controls – like GPU temperature target, overclocking, and overvoltage – to ensure the GPU works at the ultimate performance.
  • newegg GeForce Experience The easiest way to optimize your games and keep your drivers up to date, the GeForce Experience application automatically notifies you of new driver releases from NVIDIA. With a single click, you’ll be able to update the driver directly, without leaving your desktop.
  • newegg NVIDIA Adaptive Vertical Sync Nothing is more distracting than framerate stuttering and screen tearing. The first tends to occur when framerates are low, the second when framerates are high. Adaptive V-Sync is a smarter way to render frames. At high framerates, V-sync is enabled to eliminate tearing; at low framerates, it's disabled to minimize stuttering. It gets rid of distractions so you can get on with gaming.
  • newegg NVIDIA Surround with up to Four Monitors Nothing is as breathtaking as playing your favorite games across three monitors. At 5760 x 1080, the expanded field of view fully engages your peripheral vision and provides for the most immersive experience in racing and flight simulators. Add a fourth display to keep tabs on chat, email, or the web while you are gaming.
  • newegg TXAA Anti-Aliasing Anti-aliasing helps to smooth out jagged lines in games. Existing techniques like MSAA are effective at removing jagged lines in still images, but struggle with crawling and shimmering artifacts when the player is in motion. TXAA is a new anti-aliasing mode that combines MSAA, temporal filtering, and post processing for the highest edge quality and minimal shimmering during gameplay.

5 out of 5 eggsCoil Whine... Gone.

Pros: Good high-end reference card with an excellent cooler. Idles around 25C with gaming load in BF4 on max with 65-68C temps. Readily overclockable but I couldn't when I first plugged this card in since my PSU was only 550W. Had a nasty coil whine that I could hear through my headphones during gaming. Looked around on the net that sometimes your PSU can cause the coil whine.

I needed a more powerful PSU anyways since I wanted to overclock this card. Ordered a XFX 850w Pro series full modular PSU and my coil whine is completely gone.

Cons: This is a long card. In the same order as this card, I ordered a new case that could accomodate a card of this length since my current case could barely handle it. Had to move a HDD up a few slots and had 1/4 gap between the end of the card and my HDD cage.

Had coil whine but a new PSU fixed it.

Other Thoughts: *UPDATE* 9/9/15 This card died after a year and a half of not so heavy gaming use. Submitted a warranty RMA through EVGA, they promptly replaced it with a GTX970 ACX at no additional cost. Granted, the first one they sent was DOA, but the second one is working great! I don't think I will ever buy from a different manufacturer of GFX card now that I know EVGA has such awesome warranty support. My only beef is that I spend $550 on the GTX780 and I got a replacement $350 gfx card.

3 out of 5 eggsAwesome

Pros: EVGA support

Cons: Problematic after 1.5 Years

Other Thoughts: I bought two of these a year and a half ago. The main one in SLI started giving me these white dashes scattered around my screen and continued into windows. Plus it wasn't being recognized and reverted to standard VGA mode and unable to play most of my games.

If I rebooted after it warmed up, then it work work without issue.

I updated the drivers and even placed it in my other rig with the same results.

I called EVGA customer service and they are sending me another one cross shipped and it only took 5-minutes after I explained all of the steps I took for diagnosing the problem and approved it immediately for RMA.

As usual, EVGA has great support.

I gave it 2.5 stars since one failed and rounded it to 3 stars for such great customer support, otherwise it would have been 2 stars.

5 out of 5 eggsStill a beast

Pros: Still being a boss after almost 3 years. Kills everything I throw at it, I am a 1090p gamer so 4k and multi monitors don't concern me. The dual bios was nice.

Cons: zero

Other Thoughts: I have an over clock setup that i tinkered with when I first got it, set it back to stock to save on the life of the card. When a game finally makes me get sub 60 fps ill probably start ocing then. For now stock is still blazing fast.

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent!!

Pros: I have used EVGA cards for many years now and have never once been far. Hope I didn't just jinx myself heh heh.

Runs all my games at highest settings, primarily FPS games like all the Battlefield versions, FarCry, Crysis versions, etc. No problem with this card on 1920x1080.

Cons: None so far.

Other Thoughts: Will upgrade eventually to the GTX 980 someday but haven't seen the need yet.

5 out of 5 eggsGlorious.

Pros: -Quietest component in my PC.
-Throttles at 80C temp-wise and doesn't even break a sweat.
-Easily maxes out any game that's had even a little bit of optimization effort from the developer. (i.e. doesn't quiiiite get there with GTAV)
-Handles downsampling like a champ (I frequently run Arma 3 at 1440p with settings just a hair below max, hovers between 50 and 60fps)

Cons: -Has not responded to attempts to train it to bring me a sandwich.

Other Thoughts: EVGA has become my go-to. Prior to owning this card, I was running a Gigabyte 660Ti, which saw one of the cooling fans die after ~2 years of ownership. They RMA'd it for me just fine (say what you want about Gigabyte, they have a fantastic factory warranty) but it was just the excuse I was looking for to upgrade my GPU. Everyone I spoke with told me EVGA was the measuring stick for nVidia cards, and they were absolutely right. I'll probably never buy a non-EVGA card again.

5 out of 5 eggsBeast

Pros: Very powerful, was able to pick up 2 of them when on sale for $360 with the borderlands prequel copy. 1 is enough to max out settings on any game, 2 I feel like I am just showing off. These things are very powerful cards that will hold their worth for awhile.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: The dual fans are great and the look of the card is just boss

5 out of 5 eggsMy 2nd 780!

Pros: The biggest pro is that I got it when it was on sale for $360 plus a Borderlands The Pre Sequel game code.

When the 700 series first launched, a lot of people claimed the dual fans were a gimmick. Well, I currently have a stock 780 with one fan along with this guy. I put this dual fan one above my single fan one in my case so that the single fan card would have more space to draw air from. On average, this card is 10 degrees Celsius cooler than the stock one.

I already had a stock GTX780 from when they first released, and had been waiting until the next series would come out to pick up a second one cheap. Not only did I find a second one cheap, but this one was cheaper than a stock one when they were all on sale.

Cons: Nothing to do with performance, but my regular 780 lights up and says GTX, this one doesn't :(

Other Thoughts: This completes my newest build. Hopefully I can thoroughly enjoy it for 5 years like my last one.

4 out of 5 eggsWhat a beast!

Pros: This card is an absolute monster. After upgrading from a GTX 560ti, it was worlds apart. I ran this new card on a 1080p monitor, all games on ultra, 70-80+ fps on everything. I have been able to get a near 200+ mhz core increase (with the help of the boost) and 150 on memory. I'm absolutely loving it. I decided to buy a 1440p monitor and it almost runs all games still at ultra with a 120hz OC on the monitor, some I MAY have to turn down just a tad, but that's nothing to complain about. I love the card so much that I'll probably buy another one. Got it on sale and it came with the new Borderlands game for $360 after that $20 mail in rebate. As people have said, it is a pretty large card. I have a HAF 932 and have no problem fitting it, but make sure to measure first. Overall, this is a fantastic card that I will enjoy for years to come, and will probably buy another one in the next couple months to SLI.

Cons: Not really a con, but with having only a 650w PSU, I notice that I can't crank up my voltage at all on my 780. It seems to draw a decent amount of power, so I would say go with a 700w+ PSU if you want to really OC this thing to the max. I will probably pick up a 1,000w unit soon, will update afterwards.

Edit: Card crashed after about 3 1/2 weeks and wouldn't boot back up. Sending it in for RMA. I really love this card, I was just unlucky. Giving it 4 eggs for this problem

Other Thoughts: Buy this card on sale, it's fantastic, has about the same performance as a 970 and maybe just a bit less than the 980's. EVGA as always, QUALITY! Newegg provides great customer service on top of that. You won't be disappointed.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: -Fast
-Runs fairly cool
-No issues as of yet

Cons: No cons that I can really come up with. If I had to say something I guess it would be that it was a little pricey that the time of purchase but it seems well worth it.
