Powered by the fastest and most power efficient GPU ever built by NVIDIA, the EVGA GeForce GTX 680 Graphics Card changes your game with its unprecedented performance and features. This card is based on 28nm Kepler architecture, and built around 1536 CUDA Cores with 4GB/256-bit GDDR5 memory, producing reality-redefining power and bringing smooth, seamless, true-to-life gaming like you have never experienced before. It’s also factory overclocked to 1111 MHz Base Clock/1176 MHz Boost Clock, a level higher than the 1006MHz/1058MHz than reference design, to pump out higher framerates in the hottest titles. More than speed, this card packs support for all the premium GTX gaming technologies, such as NVIDIA Surround, 3D Vision, PhysX, and SLI. With these features and more, the EVGA GeForce GTX 680 gives you more than one way to elevate your experience.

  • newegg KEPLER GPU ARCHITECTURE NVIDIA's Kepler GPU architecture has been designed from the ground up not just for maximum performance in the latest DirectX 11 games, but also for optimal performance per watt. The new SMX streaming multiprocessor is twice as efficient as the prior generation, and the new geometry engine draws triangles twice as fast. The result is world-class performance and the highest image quality in an elegant, power-efficient graphics card.
  • newegg NVIDIA GPU BOOST Up until now, GPUs have operated at a fixed clock speed when playing 3D games, even if they have the potential to run faster. GPU Boost intelligently monitors graphics work loads and increases the clock speed whenever possible. The result is that the GPU always performs at its peak, and you get the highest framerate possible.
  • newegg NVIDIA ADAPTIVE VERTICAL SYNC Nothing is more distracting than framerate stuttering and screen tearing. The first tends to occur when framerates are low, the second when framerates are high. Adaptive V-Sync is a smarter way to render frames. At high framerates, V-sync is enabled to eliminate tearing; at low framerates, it's disabled to minimize stuttering. It gets rid of distractions so you can get on with gaming.
  • newegg NVIDIA SURROUND WITH UP TO FOUR MONITORS Nothing is as breathtaking as playing your favorite games across three monitors. At 5760 x 1080, the expanded field of view fully engages your peripheral vision and provides for the most immersive experience in racing and flight simulators. Add a fourth display to keep tabs on chat, e-mail, or the web while you are gaming.
  • newegg TXAA ANTI-ALIASING Anti-aliasing helps to smooth out jagged lines in games. Existing techniques like MSAA are effective at removing jagged lines in still images, but struggle with crawling and shimmering artifacts when the player is in motion. TXAA is a new anti-aliasing mode that combines MSAA, temporal filtering, and post processing for the highest edge quality and minimal shimmering during gameplay.
  • newegg NVIDIA 3D VISION READY NVIDIA 3D Vision brings a fully immersive, stereoscopic 3D experience to the PC. A combination of high-tech wireless glasses and advanced software, it transforms hundreds of PC games into full stereoscopic 3D. Get up to two times the monitor and keyboard brightness with NVIDIA 3D LightBoost technology. In addition, you can enjoy 3D movies and 3D digital photographs from in eye-popping, crystal-clear quality.

Pros: This card is an athletic beast, at least for its time. I've had it for years and I've finally had a few games that I can't fully max the settings on (GTA V, ARK, and another one or two that are early access and unoptimized). 8-core 4.0GHz processor, 16GB RAM, nothing super special for the board, nothing overclocked.

Finally looking to upgrade it to a 980 series card, this one cost about $600 at the time of purchase and has been well worth it.

They've got an awesome warranty as well, though I've never had to utilize it.

Cons: It's not exactly quiet, but meh, I've 9 fans in the system so I'm not really going for quiet.

It's huge. Like, massively huge. I had to upgrade to a full tower for it, though I was able to stuff it in a mid-tower case, it just sat too close to the bottom-mounted PSU in the old tower so that both the PSU and the GPU were blowing heat at each other, it was not an ideal setup.

4 out of 5 eggsGreat Card

Pros: Can max practically anything thrown at it with at least 40 FPS. I'm running an i5 750, and can still run that performance. It's a great looking card, and stays cool for me.

Cons: Little over priced IMO

Pros: Card works excellent. Its huge so I had to upgrade to a large tower. However you can still fit it in a mid just may have to move some stuff. Hasn't given me any problems, running Battle Field 4 on highest and still very smooth. Make sure you have 2 8 pin connectors, I ran 2 cables, prob not needed but I'm sure the card is very demanding, nothing like over kill!

Cons: None so far!

Other Thoughts: Running quad core i7, 16 gigs of 2100, solid states, and a simple asus le board.

Pros: amazingly powerful card out of the box. runs my games with ease no overclocking needed.doesnt even break a sweat even after hours of heavy fps gameplay. got it for great price

Cons: none at the moment. other than i cant find a back plate for it anywhere.

Other Thoughts: this card is enormous i have seen a card this big it dwarfs the 670 sc it replaced.

Pros: Quiet. Cool and uses less electricity that a GTX570. Runs every current game without any trouble.

Cons: Big. Very big. Check case size before ordering.

Other Thoughts: Bought as second card for SLI setup. This setup easily munches through anything I throw at it. Due to the card size, the top card gets warmer than the bottom card due to reduced air flow, so I will be adding a water block to the top card soon.

2 out of 5 eggsGreat!

Pros: Great card for a great price. Its EVGA so it comes with an amazing warranty. Getting 70 fps consistently in BF4 with my 560 running Physx.

Cons: At around 60 degrees C it kicks on the fan to 100% it is very loud and very annoying. I don't know how to fix it. I think I'm just going to by an aftermarket cooler by arctic.

Manufacturer Response:

By downloading the Precision X program from us, you can create custom fan profiles which will allow you to control the fan speeds. If you have any further questions please feel free to contact us at 888-881-3842.

Thank you,
